I was a little confused as to why I had to have proof of residency in the same location that we were renting. I do understand that things happen, however, people move jobs, residence, etc...and need reliable transportation. At first I could tell the sales person had had a bad day/ or maybe just felt like being clear was a better option, but it threw us off. However, once I showed up with proof he seemed much more accommodating. Overall I did feel put off but by the end all needs were met.

The pickup and drop off locations were Excellent. The problem seems to be with Regional Uhaul who double booked my rental truck and called to request I return it 2 days early. I need to request credit on my rental since I returned it early.

The truck had quite a lot of exterior dents and dings. There was duct tape flopping along one side of the windshield. The oil light was on, but I was told it had plenty of oil.

I do not like the fact that the sales representative was adamant about taking a photo of my debit card with his PERSONAL phone. When I told him no, he got belligerent and was rude. I will NEVER use your services again.

The staff has gone above and beyond to help my family and myself after the Spring Tornado hit our home as well as our town. UHaul has been my one stop shopping place for quality moving supplies as well as dependable vehicles for years. This location is an asset to our community and hopefully others appreciate it as my as I do.

The salesman was extremely unprofessional and did not have any concern for customer satisfaction or willingness to work with anyone to dispute a problem. I was overcharged over 100 dollars and up one disputing it the sales person was rude and did not want to hear anything I had to say. I will never recommend this company or location ever again

I rented a small uhaul on line and verified getting it two weeks in advance and when we went to pick it up they said the only had the largest size available even though I ordered in advance. I felt very inconvenienced and was dissatisfied with my transaction.

All confirmation and reservation emails showed a date AND time for pickup, but only a date for drop-off. If there is a time for drop-off it should be similarly specified in those emails. It is deliberately misleading to show those commitments with equal weight in all emails while failing to include information that could result in additional charges for the consumer. Burying the return time in an attached PDF contract (as I was informed was the case at drop-off when it was already "late", and was not mentioned at pickup when I could have avoided the additional charge) while making the pickup time clear in the body of multiple emails is a deliberate attempt to mislead the customer into believing that a pickup time is fixed but a return time is not, and any time that day is allowable.

The only problem I could see is the location not having enough entrance space for dropping off your rentals. There were rentals waiting for several minutes in traffic to turn into the lot because there wasn't enough frontage service space! Other than that they were extremely fast and professional!!!

The return process only had one minor surprise! The inspection revealed I had over driven the miles by a whopping "9.6" miles. Keep in mind due to availability I rented the truck in Princeton, IN. So would I recommend the returning dealership...Yes but with caution as to mileage details and time allowances The rental was to relocate my in laws, who live approx. 30 miles further north in Vincennes, who does not have a staffed UHaul dealer location, only a drop/pickup location. The allotted miles were 374 from Vincennes to Jonesboro, AR...no specific pickup, destination or return dealership addresses were used to determine the 374 miles allotted miles. I have made the address to address drive more than a dozen times and the exact mileage is 376 miles...close enough in my mind to the miles allotted by the rental dealership. The renting location allowed me an estimated 404 miles in the contract for driving to and from the rental location to pick up the load at my inlaws...guess the retuning location thought the additional 9.6 miles I drove was a significant breach! Hate to think that I returned the Truck on Sat afternoon ahead of the Monday morning 9:00am contact and that provided no allowance or offer of refund for the early return was extended to offset my abuse of the 9.6 mileage overage! Suggestion...maybe UHaul can add a GPS miles used device so I would have known I was close to going over and I could have found a closer refueling location or skipped lunch and a restroom break as the drive off the path to obtain such was going to result in a mileage penalty!!

Sat in the truck when I pulled into the location because signs instruct customers to do so until an attendant can be there shortly to assist you. I waited 20 mins & no one...so I went inside, waited in there for another 6 mins before 2 employees came in to assist the 3 of us customers waiting at the counters. I was last in line & was told rudely & loudly by 1 employee that if all I was doing was returning my truck that I should have followed the clearly posted intructions outside instead of coming in. When I tried to explain that I had spoken to Uhaul Rep Chris on the phone & that she told me I needed to speak with an employee when I returned the truck to verify that the $40 next day fee was waived, the employee rolled his eyes & said ok well you'll have to wait...just wow again. >:|

My time was CUT SHORT because the truck was rented out within 6 hours to someone else. I thought it was inappropriate that my time was CUT SHORT by over an hour to accommodate the store's poor management of the equipment. I was not offered or allowed a discounted even though I was told to bring the unit back early.

With the exception of extremely bald tires, I had no issues with the equipment. My issue is with the horrendous customer service I received after the fact. I called the 800 number to complain about being charged $20.00 for returning the truck early. I was told that I would be contacted from someone at the local office within a couple of days to address my issues. I said ok and went on about my day. Within minutes, I got a phone call from the local office manager who was full of attitude. He proceeded to argue back and forth with me suggesting that the issue was my fault. He claimed he was not issuing a refund inferring that I was too stupid to figure out how to register my location because 11000 other people seem to do it with no problem. At that point I could not believe what I was hearing. This was coming from a manager mind you. I called the 800 number again to report my experience with the local office manager. I was told that it would be reported to the regional manager or the local manager's boss and they would be in touch.That was almost 2 weeks ago and still no response. The whole concept of penalizing customers for returning equipment early is absolutely ridiculous in my opinion. Even though it seems they are not at all interested in my opinion, I feel the need to make it heard. In turn, UHAUL has just lost a life long customer.
