Forgot to give us back our ID. Called to find out about it and never got a call back. The guy in the lot had the worst attitude. They didn't have the blankets I reserved and after checking with two different people (1 in person and one the next day over the phone) to make sure I wasn't charged, they charged me for them anyway. My vehicle wasn't ready at the reservation time. I spent 40 minutes waiting around for them to get me a new vehicle and then update the paperwork. They didn't have blankets that I ordered. An area manager had some in the back of his car that he gave me. When I returned the vehicle I realized that the agent that checked me out added the insurance for $70 to my rental. I never agreed to that. It was definitely not selected by me during the online reservation. The yard team works hard and I appreciate them. The area manager and office staff need some work. I'll be reaching out about the $70 I was overcharged.MATHEW N.

Service was good picking up. Returning there were a bunch of trailers in the lane to return. Very hard to get in. When I called to make my reservation they told me the trailer receiver was only $10 but is actually 30Jason H.

Picking up the equipment, no problem. Very easy, no issues. Returning the equipment, trucks were spilling out of the lot onto La Brea Avenue including the parking spaces out front. Since I had a trailer, I had nowhere to go. It took almost an hour to get into the lot, disconnect the trailer and get checked out. The gentleman working the lot was so overwhelmed - he'd been left with a mess. I felt bad for him. He did his best to help me. Whoever was managing the lot on Saturday left him a disaster (I was there at opening). I wouldn't come back to this location given this scenario.Jami C.

The equipment I reserved weeks before wasn't on site. It was explained to me that this happens on a regular basis. I was provided another trailer which was much larger than the size I needed. My plans were inflexible (which is why I made the reservation in the first place) and I accepted the alternate sized trailer. While setting up the trailer for towing, the employee damaged my vehicle. I was very disappointed with this location and definitely would not recommend it.Jeremy B.

This location seems to be understaffed and lacking basic business and customer service training, the supplies were not fully stocked and staff was publicly complaining about customers coming in after closing time. Also, The location I went to close at 7 PM, which I wasn't aware of but was given a 6:45pm appointment by customer service in advance. I tried contacting the store manager several times to try and get help with my situation but was unsuccessful, as well as customer service.BRANDI B.

When I picked up my first cargo van, I got in it and the check tire pressure light came on. I went back in and the woman helping me told me to tell the service team. When I did, the first gentleman told me that it was the sensor light that was wrong, not the tire and to just ignore it. That made me uncomfortable, so I asked for a new van. He told me he didnt know if they had any available. I saw at least 30 vans parked outside. At least! When I asked if he could check, he told me I needed to go back inside. When I did the woman told me of course they would change it out. I think he was a manager apologized and they got me a new van. It just elongated the pick up process, and was a bit annoying. The new van ran okay and had no issues. Drop off was very easy.REBECCA M.
Pickup was delayed because a lady in front of me wasted a lot of your employee's time because she kept talking about things which had nothing to do with her rental. This is not your fault, but there was only one employee on duty at the counter. The truck had 194,000 miles on the odometer. This is very old by any standard. It wobbled a lot at about 55 MPHLarry P.

The front desk woman was all by herself managing a line out the door. She had a GREAT attitude and was working hard to make it through the large amounts of customers, but it was unsustainable and unfair. She needed at least one other person to help her and customers were not patient or kind. This is how you lose good talent, you could tell she was smart, she was working two stations at the same time to try and accomodate everyone. Please hire more help for your employees. It's not fair to watch them struggle when you can see a lot of money has been spent on security measures and cameras.Natalie T.

This was a terrible experience in almost every way imaginable. Please let the manager know that he, and his staff, have some of the poorest customer service I have ever received. I was supposed to pick up my UBox with a rented truck from this location (another issue for another time) from this location. I scheduled the car rental and UBox pick up on the phone with the call center because this location never answered the phone in the 10+ times I called them. When I arrived to pick everything up they told me it was not ready even though I had reservation numbers. They told me to return tomorrow. The next day, I came back and the manager frowned. He told me there was no way this could be done today because the reservation wasn't correct. Luckily, I took down the name of the worker that handled my order the day prior, Ashlee. After arguing with the manager, he called her and she confirmed that what I said was correct even though she must have input it in the system incorrectly. I was told to wait 15 minutes for her to return from lunch. I waited almost an hour as I watched Ashlee do other tasks and walk around the store aimlessly without checking in and letting me know my order status. Finally, she came up and asked if I had checked out because everything was ready to go. I signed all the forms and checked out and went to go check that everything was correct because I doubted this staff's ability to do their job correctly. Outside, I inspected the rental truck and the UBox to make sure everything was perfect. I noticed that there was no lock on the box which was strange because we had put one on. They loaded the wrong UBox on to the truckâ€"it was empty! I was incredulous. My box was nearby and I confirmed that it was mine and they hooked it up and I was able to finally leave with my things. All in all, I will never use U-Haul again. Even if it cost $1000 more to go with a competitor, the stress, anger, and general disrespect was beyond anything I had experienced before as a customer.Benjamin H.

The location was great. UHaul was not. I had booked and reserved a 26 foot box truck at the Koreatown location to be told when I went to pick it up they do not have 26 foot trucks at their location. I was told to go to another location that had one who again didn't have one. I ended having to take a 20 foot and renting another truck because the load couldn't fit. That was complete disaster. I ordered and was promised one way to Phoenix. It was confirmed at 3:30 pm day before 7 am pick up. At 6:30 pm I was informed that truck isn't available, however I can take same 26' â€œlocalâ€ truck, that I must return back to LA. It made me spend two extra days of driving: from Phoenix on your truck to LA and from LA back to Phoenix. Plus spend extra $160 on the gas for the truck. I think it is a scheme you running since there is strong demand from LA and you need truck. And you put customers in position when they have no choice: they have it all longed up: you must get out of the house, you rentals new one at destination and you hired two crews of movers to load and unload. Try to reschedule it all!! I tried to explain my grievances to the Hollywood manager, but all he did is send it to some â€œtrafficâ€? department. I received VM day later that they don't see a problem. What a shame. I expect someone with authority and ability to make decisions call me to find common resolution, hopefully soon.SERGEY R.

First of all the guy who checked me in for return was not even acknowledging me and was more concerned taking his time. Then took forever to do a cursory check. I was in a rush and it was visible and he could care less. When I got the total it seemed high and I said are you charging for anything extra and he said no. He said nothing but marked the gas was lower when I brought it back when I saw my bill, but that's ridiculous because I just put in $12 which was more than enough for the amount of miles I went. He charged me for 2 gallons which is nuts because that did not need essentially $21 of gas and he looked he could've told me I'm charging for gas. He was awful. Terrible customer service and I go there enough where my spending our should be treated better.Anna B.

After arriving at your U-haul on Fir the 23 Oct 2020. I had just drove 3 day from Florida too wait 30 minutes for counter service. Only one customer service person. I had to return my Vehicle tow and empty the truck BUT the pass key would not work! and they could not get it fixed. I have to return again today and try and empty my truck. I hope the key works.
