The charges from hyde park location to Worcester was too high they charge me a ( 55 miles ) almost $180 just a trip and leaving it at the Worcester uhaul location near by and you have to add Gas after dropping it In an addition you paid more $ 200 it sucks.

The truck did not have brakes The engine light was on. I felt unsafe in this truck Customer service was horrible. I brought the truck in earlier, expected to get reimbursed for bringing it earlier but the store worker refused to check out the truck said he had a lot ahead of me. Ask me to check out on line. Since I was not able to check out the truck at that time. I paid for more hours for the use of the truck.

My reservation was for 9 o'clock and I was there exactly on time. The approval process took 18 minutes which Seems excessive since I had entered all of my information before I even arrived.

There was a slow leak in a front tire which was annoying. Also the pre-rental check did not have all damage marked on the photos so I lost 30 minutes having to indicate damage. It'd be good if the photos and damage indications were marked in advance.

My reservation was changed last minute with no warning. I saw it on the app they told me to download morning of. Instead of my 24hr reservation at 6pm, they changed it to 11am to 5pm for one day. 24hrs to 6 hrs. And I had to pick it up 7hrs early or they were going to give my truck away. So bad. Ended up keeping it until 6pm the next day anyway like my original reservation was for. Told them I wasnt paying a late fee if that's what they were trying to pull. They didnt charge me for one so at least they saw their problem.

Staff, the general manager was very unprofessional. He never seemed interested in helping customers. When I walked inside to check-in, the general manager didn't look up for a few minutes. When I told him that I am checking in, he didn't respond. Never wrote a bad review nor criticize anyone. This time I just had to because it was bad experience and never going back to that location.

Truck did not come with additional equipment that I had reserved such as dolly, hand truck, and moving blankets. They did not have any 17' foot trucks, so had promised me the same cost for a 20' truck. When the final bill came, they charged the full 20' truck cost.

The tires were all over inflated at various pressures, the rear view mirror was missing, and there was no windshield washer fluid in it. This was one of the most terrifying vehicles I've driven in a long time.

They overcharged me with extra 27 days. I was not able to speak to the manager for 1 week to try to dispute that charge. Eventually, I had to call my credit card company to dispute their charge. Issue has not been addressed yet.

When I went on the 7/11/2020 the van I request 20” was unavailable and I reserved it a month in advance . Also I'm looking at my bank stamens and I still have a payment pending and got charge 85$ I would like my refund.

The cab of the truck and was infested with baby spiders. We had to stop, buy spider stay and wait over an hour for them to clean out. It was AWFUL. Also they gave us an older truck which was terrible for the highway for a long distance one way trip.

The service was horrible, I was supposed to pick the hall at 9 got there 10am they told me no van available, I'm trying to talk to one person, 3 person jump on me even the guy who's putting stuff in the self get on it, not professional at all. Talking about racism's, oh man. I'm black but some times I feel black people are more Racism. Fix that problem or you guys going out of business soon. Thanks

I was not happy with the equipment I received .The truck was awful the minute I left the lot .the vehicle needs a serious alignment truck and wheels . The brakes also vibrating meaning it needs rotors or brake done . When I was returning the vehicle I saw the manager outside I spoke about the truck and the problems it had, his response was very vague. He said “it a rental truck what do you aspect “ . As former employee of U-Haul I would have never let a truck got out I that condition ,also as a returning customer I would have like a way better response

Everything just seemed like someone was doing me a favor. I only rented because of location but next might go elsewhere doesn't guarantee it will be better but I'll take a shot. Also when I returned was told to leave keys on the seat and I would get an email later. Seems a little odd to me to leave without a receipt and also not inspecting van in front of me. Just not a professional experience.

The unit reserved came with a free lock. There was not a lock on the unit and the sales representative stated that the unit did not come with a lock. Ultimately, after showing documentation that confirmed the unit came with a lock, I was provided a lock, but the representative presented that she was doing me a favor. Would have been nice not to go through that at all. But no big deal

Impossible to get through to someone, have to leave several messages with no return call. Lighting doesn't turn on immediately in the hallways so have to walk for a few moments in darkness.
