I had asked for 3 dollies, but facility had just 2 available. The front desk person said he would deduct the 3rd dolly from my credit card payment, but it was never done. I called the facility the next day and had to wait for 40 minutes before I hung up as it was just too long a wait on the phone.

Marvin Jones gave us excellent service. A couple weeks before our cross-country rental, he took time out of his busy work day to show us the trailer size we reserved and showed us which hitch ball would fit, which we then purchased from the U-Haul store. We also purchased a hitch lock so if we needed to unhitch for any reason, the trailer would be safe. Moving (especially cross-country) is quite stressful and Marvin Jones made it less so. Thanks for such great service!

The overall experience went very well. The attendant Marvin was very helpful and efficient. Haven't rented a truck from UHAUL in 15 years I was very much surprised. The only note worth mentioning is that the truck needs to be updated. Not that it wasn't safe it was just old and tired. If i had to rent another truck I would be a repeat customer.

The only bright spot of my experience with uhaul

Air conditioner did not work on any fan level except high, which made for a very loud and bothersome five hour drive. More importantly, when making my rental reservation, I asked if the truck came with a 2-5/16" ball so I could haul my trailer. I was told that the truck would have the correct ball on the hitch. I drove 139 miles (one way) to get my trailer, only to find out the ball size was incorrect. Thus, I spent $375.86 on this rental and was not able to retrieve my trailer. AND, I have to waste another entire day to go BACK to get the trailer with a separate vehicle. I would like a significant refund from my bill, contract #89823370, as well as a complimentary vehicle (no vehicle charge or mileage charge, since I'll still have to pay fuel, again, due to your mistake) to finally retrieve my trailer.

Please, maintain the trailers better. The trailer I picked up had no left blinker and upon return I was told all the lights the were. This is a huge hazard to the driver with a major increase in chances for an accident. I am extremely concerned with renting another trailer. If the lights are not maintained then I am to believe the entire piece of equipment is neglected.

We did the phone app. And did all steps to no wait in line... app says “skip line and show representative this screen” to get the keys. After waiting in line for over 30 min with no one at the counter. The agent came in and we still had to wait for the guest in front of us. And he says “oh it’s going to be a min” the prob isn’t the wait... the problem is.. what’s the point of the app and the speedy process to then have to wait anyways? I think there needs to be a more thorough way. But the idea is def there.

Even though the truck i rented was dirty the staff was excellent. I asked a 2hr extention expecting to NO!!!! Next thing i know the customer service rep comes back on the phone and asked, " How long?". I couldn't be more pleased.

Give customers more then 1/4 tank of fuel on pickup. Giving just a 1/4 tank makes customers fill up to make move then have to guess how much it would be left. I gave back with half a tank costing me more money.

You can have the employees explain and warn of large holds being placed on your account for being 15 minutes late. I now have a $200 hold on my account for a week only because I was uninformed of this hold. I would have called or otherwise knowing this was going to happen to say I would be late. This is the worst experience I have had with Uhaul and will use other locations from now on.

The location and staff were great- we had an awful experience with the U-Haul online experiences though. The truckshare 24/7 showed as “reviewing your qualifications” for over 3 hours. The manager at the location had to make us a new reservation because the online one was stuck. Also when it was time to review the photos for damage on the truck the photos would not load and the manager again had to come outside and manually review the truck. I believe his name was Kevin and he was awesome.

My appointment was at 8 am, I dropped off before that time. They never called to tell me the car was ready. I called 4 times after 2 pm and no answer. The calls were routed to the 1800 uhaul customer service. I decided to go there around 4:30. The person that helped me mentioned that the car was ready Two hours ago. Mentioned that Kevin had called, but my phone never ring. Awful service !!!!!!! Never hear an apology

I rented a trailer and dolly for one day on Jan 25th and turned it in the same day. I didn’t receive my emailed final bill so I called the U-Haul number on the 26th and they said they would have thee store email my bill. Instead of charging me the day, they just added an extra day and claimed I turned it in on the 27th. I called for my bill on the 26th. That shows that the bill is false. this location charged me for two days. I’ve been calling the U-Haul number and since Tuesday someone was supposed to call me, but no one has. This is unacceptable. I never had a billing problem with U-Haul in all my years of being a loyal customer. Wow!

I was upset with the location at Rome st Tampa Florida. This is the location we chose to drop the trailer off at. It is by my house. We were crunched for time and the worker told us we couldn’t leave the trailer there that we had to take it to another U-Haul location. This is time and gas I wasted because she refused for us to leave the trailer.
