all good but your online app for the return of vehicles could be a little more flexible. i took picture of dashboard, dropped off key and went on to use the app. only a few minutes passed and when i tried uploading my picture it did not accept it because it waa too old and needed a new one. i had only taken the picture no more than 5 minutes before. anyway, a logiatical issue that you could make a little more uaer friendly. tyPEDRO R.

I arrived 15 minutes early to ensure that I would get out on time, and due to their terrible employees I wasn't able to leave until 45 minutes after my designated time (yes it took me an hour). The first truck was so over run by smoke smell I couldn't breath. When I asked for another truck I was informed that all trucks probably were dirty and smelled. Taking my chances on another truck, the employee not only was rude, but cursed, implied I was dumb, and then charged my card, which had already been charged by U-Haul, and he overcharged it. When I asked to have the correct amount charged you would have thought I asked him to walk on fire, and then wouldn't let me use the same card (some issue with their system ... not his fault but how he handled it def was). Norberto should be fired. U-Haul should do a major overhaul of how things are managed at this location. I will go out of my way to use any service but U-Haul ever again, and if I do use U-Haul it sure as heck won't be at this location.BRADLEY S.

When people go and pick up the truck and have paid for the extra dolly's, they should tell you to pick up the dolly's. I wasn't informed and thought they would be in the truck. I had to go back and ask them for it. The attendant at the counter never told me.KARINAMORAYMA M.
Be more verbal on return time. As in past rentals were for 24hrs when I looked at contract thoroughly at end of day I realized I had to return truck at 9:00 AM when I rented truck at 1:45PM. All my fault for not fully reading contract before signing don't believe it would have changed the fact I needed the truck but had 9:00 appointment luckily they were open till 7:00 PM for return. However I rented a truck from them for my move , they gave it to me early, with only a little under a quarter tank and told me it was full. I tried to call to report it to them, but no answer. FINALLY got a customer service representative who said they would make it right, I took pictures and tried to submit to them but the application said it could not accept them because the system that they use had expired, I spent eighty dollars to fill it up less than three miles away and returned it three quarters full. The representative said he would let them know about it at turn in, but they didn't know anything about it, said I would get an email in about ten mins, never came. It was a 70 mile trip. The only problem I really had was that they told me it was a full tank of gas I loaded up all my stuff out of storage when end turned in the storage unit they made sure it was clean they inspected it, and I had no sooner pulled out of the parking lot and look down and I only had between an eighth and a quarter of a tank of gas, they told me it was full. I could not get anyone on the phone, and stopped and bought $80 worth of gas two and a half miles away. I got about 40 minutes down the road before I finally got a hold of a customer service representative. I was in thick traffic there was an accident and it was almost impossible for me to communicate. There is no way to pull over and stop. None the less the customer service representative told me it will be taken care of when I turn it in. It had three quarters of a tank of gas when I stopped I explained the situation to the manager when I turned it in and he said he would take care of it. Now I don't know what they're going to do to take care of it, but I do know that I spent $80 worth of gas to go 70 miles. I feel like I'm owed $60 on that. Someone has yet to still get ahold of me but I realized today is Saturday, the customer service representative said that they would reach out. I'm sure they will. If not resolved I will try to take care of it next week. It's just another problem when you're making these kinds of moves, and I realize that probably because they gave me the truck early they didn't have time to clean it or fill it, it was probably a computer glitch, and I have used U-Haul many many times over the years never had a problem.CLYDE A.
The line of customers was almost out the door and there was only one employee assisting customers and he was extremely slow and would periodically just leave the office without providing any explanation or apology. All of the customers were getting very frustrated and it took me about 45 minutes to an hour just to pick up my trailer. Have more staff assisting/processing customers inside and have some support outside getting equipment ready so the employees inside do not need to keep going in and out making everyone wait.MATHEW L.

On Tuesday February 2, 2021, as I returned the van in Tampa I encountered a traffic jam of U-haul vehicles at the gated entrance of the premises. A courteous employee said "we are behind processing the drop off". Then he directed me to leave the vehicle at the entrance which was blocking the sidewalk and part of the street. I could not go into your premises or the office. I left the vehicle in as instructed. I believe they were unusually busy on this particular day.Hector F.

This was a superb service experience. The gentleman who checked me out was quick, friendly, concise, thorough and very clear. I didn't have a single question and knew exactly what I needed to do. This guy deserves a raise. I love that the process is self-serve now (checking for dents and scratches via pictures online) and wait free drop off. The process was quick and no hassle. Also, the phone agent who booked my reservation did it in like 90 seconds because I had to be on a call for work. You should listen to that call, she was amazing. She is incredibly competent and an asset to your company.HEATH C.

Was not allowed to get my daughter moved into her apartment when we arrived in Tampa Florida, so the guys allowed us to park the truck in there parking lot with the truck fully loaded until we were able to get my daughter into her apartment. They fail to answer the phone. I could never get them to answer despite the multiple number of times I tried. Therefore you are routed to national call center. Charged my credit card twice. For 2 days They did not log in the return of my trailer. It took the National call center calling the local manager to call me. During a global pandemic it is mandatory in Tampa to wear masks, and your staff was not. The van wasn't cleaned since the last renter, and that persons documents were inside with their personal information. Not only is that bad, but the germs in the car that could spread COVID-19 were not properly taken care of. My reservation was for 6:30am and the keys were not put in the box for me. I called customer service and she told me codes to the locks that did exist (box 3 & 5) but no keys for me. Finally at 7:00am the door was open to go inside, but the lights were off and the staff member was in the bathroom. After explaining what happened he found the key INSIDE. So I would have never been able to start my trip on time since the key was forgotten the night before.Austin S.

Customer attention when checking someone in. The front desk guy was helping us first, and in the middle of our transaction, another guest walked in, and he asked for his name and reservation number and started helping him on a separate computer at the same time. He went back and forth talking to each of us. I had a couple questions and felt like I didn't know when to ask since he was flipping back and forth. It wasn't busy and the new customer was not in a rush, so I wish he would have spent more attention to detail by assisting us first and then move on to the next person in line.ARIANNA L.

Getting the equipment took 30-45 minutes because the service was not aware of how to rent the equipment via technology. Upon returning the equipment the store attendant was extremely aggressive and belligerent. He even said to me that I was on drug when I kept asking him the process of making a return due to my experience yesterday. He also insulted me with other comments in front of other customers making it a point to make me feel like I was less than worthy to be there. This is not on brand for uhaul and it saddens me that this is my report being such lovely experiences in the pastorssie B.

After calling customer service to report i had a warning light about my tires and having to wait to drive for 1.5 before they told me it was safe, I found a nest of roaches in the back area where you load your furniture. When I returned the truck and told the the reps about the roaches, they said nothing and couldn't care less. I will do all that I can to let everyone know of my experience as well as share my photos of the nest of roaches I found. Horrible service from beginning to end.
