My pickup location was changed to one further away from where I was loading. U-Haul then charged me for the extra miles that U-Haul imposed upon me. They should refund the extra miles charged and reimburse me for my car mileage to the further pickup location.ROBERT S.

I made a online reservation and it said a total different amount then when I came in store. Pulse I wasted gas cause my reservation was all wrong. Had to go to a different locationKINA M.
Although the equipment was clean and the location is nice, the staffing needs to ensure the physical strength necessary to pull back the lift jack to place the hitch correctly on the trailer. I lost the trailer within 7 miles of the location. The wait was very long as only 1 person was available for all task on a very busy day.Sybil P.

Getting the hitch for my van. I called my nearest U haul location, told them about my van and what I was planning on doing. They said that they would have to order my hitch and would be in the next Saturday. I arrived on Saturday and it was not in, so we made arrangements for the hitch to be put on the next Saturday. I arrived Saturday. They said my appointment was for last Thursday. Not! Anyway. My first quote was for $ 320.00 then it went up to $360.00 because of an error. Whatever! Picking up my rental. I had numerous emails say my rental was confirmed, and then canceled all in the same morning. At the U haul pick up location, my new hitch attachment, the ball was on the down swoop, which allowed very little clearance for the trailer and the ground. The lady at the shop with very little patience, tried to get the ball off the attachment to reverse it for the up swing position, using an impact wrench for a good 15 minutes she had no luck, because it was put on by a machine. I then traded my attachment with a another person in the waiting room who happened to have a spare, I purchased another 2'' ball for $ 10.00 from U haul, and the lady put it on, we hooked up the trailer and tested the electronics. After we left, and after further investigation I noticed there was no kotter pin in the ball stem,so improvising, I made one out of a coat hanger. Needless to say, my experience with U haul has not been very good !TIMOTHY W.

I reserved one about 3 1/2 miles from my house at trax tire when it came time to pick it up they told me I couldn't pick it up there I had to go all the way down to the Broadway location which is about 10 miles one way and 10 miles back that's my biggest gripe about U-Haul To be able to get a trailer closer to home I could've drove 2 1/2 miles to get one but no one had one in stock I could have drove 3 1/2 miles to another place and they didn't have one just need more stockMichael M.

My pickup was changed to Wiggins, MS by Uhaul. Upon driving 30 extra miles to pick up my trailer, this location had 1 truck and 1 trailer( with things still inside) plus it was deserted! Called 800 number, on hold for 10 mins, drove 30 miles BACK to Hattiesburg and this location happen to have an early return so we finally got my rental. i was very upset with wasting over an hour of my time, not to mention gas! The location in Wiggins, MS does not exist and is a poor representation of your company!RENAE E.

This location is conveniently located and always has a large selection of vehicles. Unfortunately they have the worst service. I've never been able to get in and out in a timely manner. Despite signing up for mobile pickup up, I spent over 30 minutes inside waiting to be handed a key.Casey J.

I reserved a truck and found out that it wasn't available at 7am on the day I was supposed to pick it up.. The lady working there helped as much as she could and was very helpful. She fund a truck I could use but it was a 26 foot and I ended up paying a ton for gas. I reserved a trailer online at a location. When I went to pick up the trailer I was told they didn't have it. Then had to drive 25min. To another location to get the trailer. When I went to return the trailer I went to the location I made the reservation at online, but was told it would cost me $200 extra to return it there. I tried calling and speaking with a manager and was very rudely told I had to take the trailer back to where I picked it up from. I explained I originally rented online from the location I was wanting to drop off. The manager told me I agreed to pick up from a different location and had to bring it back there. I asked why I can't drop the trailer off at the location where I was. She told me I could, but would be charged $200. This was the worst experience I have ever had with uhaul. Someone could have called me to let me know where I needed to pick up the trailer since it wasn't at the location I reserved. I should also be able to return the trailer to the closest uhaul to me without being charged extra for doing so. It was in the same city, just opposite ends. Can't yall move the equipment around to provide better quality service to customers?DENNIS B.

Timothy Jones was my uhaul worker and he was so rude. He accused me of not having a truck reserved for me. He was very threatening.Tory L.
The CSR at the Broadway location in Hattiesburg, MS. was great! However the rest of my experience can be summed up as a NIGHTMARE. I reserved a 26 feet truck and a 10 x 40 x 10 storage unit with great confidence as I received my confirmation emails. But in reality, the truck reservation was changed to a different location, reconfirmed by email with a 7:30 a.m. pick up time even though the store did not open til 10:00 a.m. I had to drive 20 miles further to a location in Moselle, MS and wait for them to open. After loading the truck and going to my storage reservation at 1303 7th St., Hattiesburg, MS., I was informed that my reservation with a confirmed email was completely deleted from the U-Haul computer system. I was stuck with a gas guzzling truck with all of my possessions inside of it and no place to store my belongings. I was told that U-Haul was sorry and there was nothing else they could do. The CSR lady at Broadway became my hero by finding storage space, but I would have to rate my overall experience with U-Haul as a COMPLETE FAILURE!!!Robert J. | First Impressions
