Over the course of several days there were a total of 6 transactions on my credit card. 3 charges are still pending/on hold on my card days after rental was returned. I have called and called an no one can ever answer my questions. I have paid for 2 separate rentals but UHaul still has $340.98 on hold on my credit card. WE HAVE BEEN DISPLACED BY THE DAYTON OHIO TORNADOS AND I HAVE RETURNED THE EQUIPMENT. YOU HAVE BILLED ME AND COLLECTED FOR THE RENTALS BUT YOU HAVE NOT RELEASED THE ADDITIONAL FUNDS HELD ON MY CREDIT CARD. WE HAVE NO HOME AND NO MONEY FOR FOOD OR SHELTER BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT RELEASE OUR MONEY!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET A HOLD OF. I HAVE SPENT HOURS ON HOLD ONLY TO HAVE NOTHING RESOLVED.

Matthew was amazing! He is the manager of the U-Haul closest to the tornado damage and everyone was under much stress in the face of the devastation. He handled the chaos so professionally and had excellent customer service in a very difficult situation. He deserves recognition from U-Haul management for handling the disaster so well.

Even with the huge flow of traffic in that facility, due to the catastrophic EF4 tornado that hit our area..we were treated with dignity and respect. Matthew the manager I believe..should be given an increase in pay as well as his counterpart. I'm not sure of his name..Thank you, Sheryl Mullins

The manager helped me. He took the time to talk with us made sure trip was ok, talked to my 4 year old about hamsters because my 4 year old loves them. Great guy, would recommend and will keep coming back

I used my credit card to rent the 5x8 trailer. THERE WAS A 2 HOUR WAIT TO RETURN A TRAILER... NO DROPBOX! There was only 1 employee working at the desk performing rentals. I realize it was around the first of the month, so they were busy dealing with each customer's needs/ situation, but many customers are in a different situation through the use of credit cards and the website. Why is there not a drop box? I spoke the employee outside and he informed me that I would have to wait in the line to return a 5x8 trailer that was already paid for. What if I had returned the trailer after hours? what would I have done? Why is there not a drop box for customers who have handled the rental through use of the website and credit card? The experience made NO sense to me.

My original rental for Grocery Lane on Troy Rd in Dayton Ohio was horrible!!!! We arrived at 8:30 am for check in only to find that the owner was out of town. The woman who spoke with me from GL was rude and not sympathetic, shrugged her shoulders and said I don't know what to tell you, he isnt here and I cant help you. NOT something you want to hear on moving day. Contacted Sabrina from Huber Heights and she rescheduled for Salem ave. I was upset about the extra miles being farther out from our way. She kindly let me know about the $50 guarantee and was overall wonderful! At the Salem location the store manager Matt(I think) was amazing! Very helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely made my experience a great one and I was not expecting that due to the start of the morning. Please reach out to the man from Grocery Lane! Poor customer service from his employees and thank God for the great ones like Matt and Sabrina!!!!

The equipment needed to be swept out before I used. There was small boxes behind railing. Please make sure staff actually get into back of truck to visual check or either sweep out themselves. I do prefer this location.
