They first tried to give me a truck that wasn't checked or prepped. I went to start it and it had a dead battery. I had to tell them it didn't work. Then I had to wait for another one that was filthy and had to be cleaned out. So I got to my house to move and it was wet inside so I had to wait for more to dry it out. This delayed my moving for hours. Not a great experience.

Overall it was a very easy and pleasant experience. I really like the fact of setting everything up on the website and not have to really do much except sign and pick up the keys and the return, excellent.

EMMA B.I use Uhaul several times a month for my home staging business. I have the BEST experiances with Compass Self Storage on Princeton Glendale Rd. I handle it all myself online, and rarely even have to come in contact with anyone, unless I want to pop in and say hi to the manager here and there. The uhaul store experience, however, is one I try and avoid like the plague, because every single time, there is an issue-- whether it be that there aren't enough people to help and you have to wait forever, or like today, where the systems weren't working correctly, and I had to sit at the desk for 40 mins (which I had to pay my scheduled movers for), even though I checked out as a reservation. I only got the option to check out my complete the process online after about 30 mins of failed attempts at the uhaul store - apparently because one uhaul rep took the phone for a propane purchase and left the person inside handling everything else, with a faulty computer system that never works, according to what they say. My entire truck rental with insurance and gasoline cost the same amount as the wasted time that I had to pay my mover anyway. TERRRIBLE

ROGER S.I have never had a bad experience with this particular location in any way. In fact my only bad experience with U-Haul at all was not really their fault & it was over 15 years ago & another location. I had reserved their biggest truck to move 1st thing in the morning. It wasn't there. The previous customer had not returned it on time so I had to take a truck 1/3 the size completely ruining my moving time line which caused a cascade effect. Consequently I didn't have time to move everything in one trip. So it made another customer go without their truck. Anyway all that said that was my only bad experience ever with U-Haul. The only suggestion I could make for any of their locations is for them to have more employees on hand to make the process of pick up & drop off quicker. This particular facility does a pretty good job with both. They do a very good job & are very professional & friendly.

This was by far the worst experience I've ever had anywhere; my unit was not available as promised and so I had to get a larger more expensive unit to get truck unloaded. Staff was beyond rude, belligerent, and unaccommodating. My plan to prepay a year in advance has turned into looking for another facility who wants my business because I will not give another dime to this location. Even people moving out of the facility said to RUN, not walk from there! Unprofessional and unbelievable - contacted corporate.

It took 2 people using all their strength to move it forward so I could actually reach the pedals. Then they had other trucks directly behind the truck I had to back out and the trucks next to us were so close I had to pull out just so my passenger could open the door.

However, the truck broke down before we could take the load to the new house. We had to wait hours and it ruined our schedule. The house doesn't have electricity yet so we had to move boxes in the dark. The truck's oil light was on before we even left the uhaul store, and when it was brought to the workers attention they said it'd be fine. This lends me to believe that the trucks aren't cared for like they should be, and that's why the battery problem occurred.
