The entire staff was very accommodating, helpful and understanding. I'm really grateful. The only issue I had was with one of UHaul's rules about storage rental, which has nothing to do with the staff or their performance. The rule is the "alternate contact" rule, which states the alternate contact a renter provides must have a different address and phone number than the renter. Not everybody has people they can use as alternate contacts. All in all, fantastic service and I am satisfied and grateful. Thank you!

It took me 20 minutes to return truck, Your stupid after hours return system was horrible' 2 times it didn't recognize my location on 2 different phones, Update your stupid system please and also hire employees who like to work, who actually like their jobs!!

I arrived at this location after a long drive from S. Carolina and was fried. I wish I grabbed there names. The 2 men working on 10/24/2020 between 12 and 5pm were great. They were very welcoming and helped me with everything I could have asked for and more. Concerning my units, kicks etc. And when I needed an additional unit they made it very easy. And close to the ones I already had. Then following day when I returned my truck the manager was kind enough to explain my contract that the person at my pick up location had neglected to do. I had a very good experience here. Thank you

I reserved a trailer in Columbia, MD. Upon arrival, no trailer available, and the clerk had zero idea what to do. I waited over 30 minutes as she pretended to address the issue, waiting on other customers, until a manager showed up. The manager advised no trailer available and to call the 800 number. The solution, drive 25 minutes in the wrong direction to Woodlawn, The staff at Woodlawn was accommodating and professional, but upon arrival, their computers were not working. I spent another 30+ minutes waiting to finalize my transaction. Much appreciation. For the friendly and courteous staff at Woodlawn. Those 2 ladies were awesome. The staff in Columbia wasted my time, didn't know what they were doing, and did not have the equipment available that I had a confirmation for. Drop off personnel was VERY professional and accommodating. Asked if I needed to go inside for anything, was told no. Hours later I received a call advising I was due a credit and the only way to collect was in person. Another inconvenience, but I will be back tomorrow to collect. I would think this credit could be applied to the card that I used, but was told not an option. Pick it up in 24 hours in person at the location I rented from, or forego the reimbursement. I have had issues with my last 2 U-Haul rentals. Friendly staff, apologetic and accommodating at Woodlawn, for issues that were beyond their control. Gotta get it together Uhaul, very frustrating.

The U-haul rental experience at the Woodlawn, MD location was super. I loaded my Driver's License as requested prior to the rental date. The check in and check out went very fast. Angela at the Woodlawn, MD location was super easy to work with and very efficient. Thanks so much.

My overall experience with uhaul was very unprofessional. I made a reservation at 11am to move over two weeks ago and I was given the run around all day. I had to travel to multiple uhaul places and at the end I was able to get a truck at 4:30pm. I did not receive my refund nor did I receive my 50 reservation money back. I will not be using uhaul anymore

When i arrived to pick up my u-haul truck the gentlman was not wearing a mask. When i returned the truck back to the same facility. There was a young lady there, that was also not wearing a mask. Just made me feel uncomfortable.

The only thing that I encounter was the waiting for lady at the front desk to check me in. The gentlemen was helping some one us and she saw me standing there and she act if we weren't ther until I sak if she could help me and her response was that the wass just auditing some paper work, it may not have been her exact work but she finally start helping me.

General manager, Angela, is attempting to bill me for $1500 in damage to a truck that was damaged when it was dispatched. She blatantly lied about the damage she “found”. If you do business with this location make sure to take photos and video from top to bottom of your rental because management there can not be trusted.

Let the person know that you have on file that their were know damage too touch before you rented. And we're the mileage that show on truck. And we're is the gas tank located. I know their was know damage, but too reassuring the customer their isn't.

Everything was great, I have one concern. The billing process is f flawed, I didn't know how much my total bill was until I took back the truck and was home. Added costs could of been added to my bill and I would not of known what they were until y'all have already taken the $ 4 the final bill. That needs to be done while you're at the store and a employee goes over the truck, and any other deductions that would be added to the final bill. Get your approval for the final cost and then proceed with getting the money from your card or you.

The connection to the lights was not tested at pick up Drove 300 miles with no lights on trailer and when I dropped trailer off in Blacksburg va, I was told try did not have the tester to check if the light issue was my connection or the trailer plus they were not wearing masks and did not social distance when I got out of the car in Blacksburg

The designated parking for customers cars is a distant from the office and it's an inconvenience to have to walk a great distance. If the customers parking can be closer, that would make the experience that much more pleasant.

I noticed a lot of empty units in the same size I rented so I ask why was I put so far away when there were available units closer. I was told that those were rented but had not come in yet. I want to know why someone who has not come can get a closer unit when I came first. We as customers cannot pick a location so how does that work. I have a heart condition and feel that if the space is empty it should be rented first come first served. Going forward if I rent from you again I will want to see where my space and hope not to see as many customer ready tags as I do on my row but cannot get closer yet they are empty and you have me as a customer not an expected customer
