I have used another closer location (which has been fine) but the Woodlawn location had the trailer I needed. I will ALWAYS go back to Woodlawn now. The young lady behind the counter took care of everything for me and the outside guy (in snowing and freezing weather) double checked everything. I've pulled my own trailer for years and this guy did it exactly the right way. No short cuts despite the weather.Leo N.
I wish I had NEVER used this storage facility at all. When I moved out there were rat feces around the perimeter of my ENTIRE storage unit. When I started to unpack all the stuff that had been in storage, there were rat feces in the form of pellets on every surface and in every box. It was absolutely disgusting. Two of my expensive furniture pieces were bitten on the corners even after wrapping it very carefully. I had put these furniture pieces in storage to protect them, but I honestly regret that decision. I should also mention that NO ONE ever told us about the RAT INFESTATION in the unit. Had I known, I would have immediately gotten my stuff out of storage. In addition, the store at the location was closed (locked door) when I went during normal business hours. I called the manager (like it said on the door to do) and she responded with a very rude attitude as if I were inconveniencing her. When I was done moving my stuff out of storage I went into the store and asked the manager to do a walk-through. She asked if it could be done the next day, but I told her I had no intention of coming back. She did not do a walk-through with me, but I assume that she eventually did it herself because I got a move-out receipt. Online I secured a 26' Truck at the Owings Mills, Md store across from Royal Farms 3 weeks ago. I call to confirm my pickup time as 8:00 since the store opens at 9:00. Was told my reservation was sent to the other Owings Mills Location 10435 Reisterstown Rd. Get there, no truck available because it wasn't confirmed. Then had to drive to the Woodlawn Location. I Had to drive extra 20 miles round trip, $.99 a mile. Think again next time.BRYAN S.

Service was very good. A computer crash was quickly dealt with and managed by Md. Angela Odell. The staff in the Wood Lawn office were polite, friendly, and helpful The two mover men, Neil and Bobby were patient, polite and hard working. I would recommend highly the facility, clean fun to drive truck, management and all personnel with whom I dealt. When placing the reservation the confirmation email states that a uhaul representative would call to follow up but no one called me. I called them twice to confirm. I had made a reservation for 16 plastic packing crates. But when I went to pick them up there were only 11. Don't make customers pre-pay for items that you might not have in stock!! The men were friendly though and helped me load them in my car.Sarah S.

Facility and staff was nice however our unit was under some water pipes which had condensation that damaged some of the items in our unit. We used towels at first and eventually had to put a tarp over everything. Unfortunately one of our nicer pieces of furniture was damaged by the moisture and has mold in the wood. Overalls however the access was great and staff was very friendly. Would still use this facility in the future but would attach a tarp over the unit immediately.ARYN D. | Overall Experience

When you come to recover a vehicle, don't have your tow man beat on the customers family members! Your tow driver grabbed my husband by the shirt out the door and him along with another guy punched and kicked my husband to the ground where his tooth was knocked out and potential hearing loss as well as multiple bruises. I came to pick up the truck they didn't have one then they found on I get the truck the gas was not where it supposed to been have a picture then I loaded my truck the rear door would not close had to wait two hours for road side to fit the door waited 30-40 mins then I started to move my first load at 330 ask to extend til 630 dropped truck off by 700 and my receipt says I dropped it off 130amRodney M.

Made reservation for Manchester or Westminster, MD location. Found out the day before that I had to drive 31 miles (at 8mpg) to pick up the vehicle. Was asked if I wanted to come back to load the car on the trailer and told them no because I had to drive so far. Had to load with the trailer/car hooked to the Uhaul.Patricia S.

I ran into a problem when I showed up to pick up the truck I had rented. I needed to have contacts, place of employment, passport, etc in order to complete the pick up process and I feel it would have been more efficient if uhaul had asked for those things during the initial rental process. It put me an hour behind schedule to complete this step at the uhaul location.Rebecca G.

The truck had check engine light and air bag light lit the whole time, The employees were great. National U-Haul moved my reservation from Columbia to here, requiring a schedule change for my organization and costing us additional mileage fees to get the truck back to Columbia where we needed it. At the very least Uhaul should credit renters with additional mileage expenses if the reservation is moved through no fault of our own.EDWARD C.
The first Van that they showed me was filled with DOG HAIR. The second was OKAY. I though that the $75.00 INSURANCE FEE was a Very Excessive amount and that is a FEE that should be returned to the Customer if there is NO DAMAGE TO YOUR EQUIPMENT.CECILIA H.

I noticed a lot of empty units in the same size I rented so I ask why was I put so far away when there were available units closer. I was told that those were rented but had not come in yet. I want to know why someone who has not come can get a closer unit when I came first. We as customers cannot pick a location so how does that work. I have a heart condition and feel that if the space is empty it should be rented first come first served. Going forward if I rent from you again I will want to see where my space and hope not to see as many customer ready tags as I do on my row but cannot get closer yet they are empty and you have me as a customer not an expected customerDebora F. | First Impressions
