I rented a truck November 14, pick up in Appletion WI, 9:30 am and drop off in Green Bay WI 2:30 pm, Contract 20012317. I was charged in excess of $125for a 4 hour rental. When I contacted the General Manager of the Green Bay store I was told thats the way it works, "You no rent from my store so I can't give you money back" Chargining that amount for a 4 hour rental is unreasonable. I scould have been charged the In Town rate. I will use other services for the next rental.

Mr Kong the manager/owner has not resolved a billing issue. This facility billed my credit card for three days rental when they should have only billed me for a one day rental. Mr.Kong said he would review the contract and issue a refund. Three weeks later I'm still waiting to see that refund. My second request for a refund has gone unanswered.

Rented a motorcycle hauler, no issues with the trailer and customer service at this location is outstanding. Had a few issues with the hitch on my vehicle, and the rep took extra time to help me out. Highly recommend this U-Haul facility!

Tall guy knows what's going on! Other guy without mask took FOREVER to check me in and didn't know how to connect the trailer. (So I had to be inside with someone without a mask for 40 minutes!) So communicate with the tall polite young guy. He's awesome!

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Only negative was that I couldn't rent the uHaul for 4 hours instead of 6 because I was just moving a couch and a small lightweight desk. Easy cost friendly for what I needed.

The original location that I was supposed to get the truck did not have it, they could confirm the reservation but still no truck. I was sent to the Uhaul location down the street. Wasn't sure I was getting a truck there either but they did come through, though we were about an hour behind at this point. I did find a plastic bag with a broken jar and what looked like mayonnaise in it, otherwise the truck was clean. Not the first time this has happened when the truck is reserved through an affiliate.

One employee to handle all the customers. The electric cord had been damaged on trailer and not repaired so we had to wait additionally for the repair. The trailer had not been swept out and had quite a dirty floor.

Truck was a little beat up for only having 3000 miles

I picked up a truck and put 9.5 miles on it. When I filled it with gas it cost $12.58 to fill up which is a little over 6 gallons. The gas gage showed full, but apparently it is broke. 12 dollars for 9.5 miles was B.S.

The van was very old, with worn out seats, and a very dangerous broken driver's side visor that flopped down at will, partially blocking my vision at least 50 times in 78 miles driven!

We were 6th in line for return but the young man, who was working alone, made every effort to take care of everyone as fast as possible. He was Very polite despite the congestion and all of us were on our way in a matter of minutes. He scored high with all of us in line. He did an awesome job.

Waited over an hour because clerk was having issues with computers. Had to re do the contract 3 times and due to the wait the furniture store closed and I was unable to get my furniture. I want a refund for this rental!

I came in at 4:45pm hoping to get the uhual a tad early because I was supposed to leave at 5pm. I waited in line after a customer well then another couple walks in behind me to return a vehicle remind you I already had a reservation and he tells them he is going to take care of them first and then walks outside for another 20 minutes, he finally comes back in and laughs at me. At this point I am angry!!! Never again will I go to that location I have never had that poor of customer service in my life!!!

Took 50 min to check out a pre reserved truck. Handed me the keys didnt show me how to find my truck or where it was. Had to load the dolly myself, tried to give wrong dolly. This whole incident caused me to be late for the movers, which luckily they waited. One guy was working the whole shop.

Truck not ready when scheduled. The truck was to be picked up at 7:30 but unless I drove to the prior renters home 30 mins away to pick up the truck they weren't going to bring it back till noon. I drove to the priors renters home and started 2 hours late, causing the labor to be rescheduled. Normally not an issue but this was a one way rental and I hired labor thru U-Haul. The GM at the site did everything he could to try to make it right but not how anyone wants to start a move.

The checkin process was not contactless as I indicated on my reservation. The interior of the truck cab was not very clean. The doors were dirty with leaves and small stone. There was food particles on the passenger seat and what looked to be the residual of spilled liquid on the dash and cup holder area. In this time of Covid, I would expect a better cleaning process for a shared vehicle.

For all the work i did to make the reservation on line, and check in on line, it simply takes far too long to pick up a trailer. If i take the time on line to not select insurance, etc, why do i have to do it again at the store? Way, way way too long a process.

After getting my reservation changed to this location without getting reservation guarantee. I waited for my truck pick up for 45 minutes inside store. Only one customer ahead of me. They then forgot my appliance dolly I then had to return and pick this up. This was a horrible experience with Uhaul. The person I dealt with for reservation guarantee threatened I would not get any truck if I went for the guarantee. The day before my move. If this is the normal from Uhaul I will never suggest anyone use this company and go elsewhere for moving trucks.

Please clean up the web concerning drop off locations. There is one on military ave in Green Bay that comes up in google maps but has long since stopped dealing uhaul

I arrived a few minutes early for my scheduled pickup time in the morning. I was told the truck had to be inspected first. While waiting for my rental, employees were walking in and out of the building cursing and swearing. (Glad I didn't have my kid with me). I waited about twenty minutes before receiving the truck. Employee was playing loud music on the same phone that he took a picture of my ID with. I was confused if it was a personal phone or business phone. Truck was still expected back at the same scheduled time after losing nearly a half hour at the store between inspection and paperwork. While I was using the truck a family member noted that a backup light was burned out. I told the employee (different one) when I returned to drop off the truck and he asked me several times if I was serious about it. I had to turn the key on and put the truck into reverse so he could see it. Sorry but I've rented with u-haul a few times before and never had an experience like this.

Well we were supposed to get the truck at 8am, they kept changing the time for pickup then we didn't get the appliance dolly so had to go back to the store to get it.

first, our truck was broken down and they didn't call us to let us know. We showed up at the time we were suppose to pick the truck up and they decided to tell us right there that they have no truck for us and left it up to us to find an alternative. Self returning instructions are not very clear, so would recommending just doing it during business hours if possible. Not happy with their service. Not helpful at all. Probably would not come back to uhual for rentals.

Reservation was wrong had to call about 10 times and still didn't get we wanted. In military who uses uhaul often will spread word to make sure as many soldiers as I know never use uhaul.

Doing the complete pre-registration on-line save no time. I was asked for all of the same information! Also, there was just one person working, and as more people came in, the longer I had to wait outside for him to come out and check that we had hooked everything up properly.

The 5' x 9' trailer we rented was only 4'6" in width. Most mattresses don't fit that width. It turned out to be more hassle than it was worth.

Put another person on the desk. There was only one renal person, and it was very busy. There was too much for one person to handle. it took at least 30-40 minutes to rent the van. Also the rental person wasn't wearing a mask. Bad business practice now. Store was well organized and clean.

I had to repeat my order for extra supplies multiple times to the staff. They had difficulties navigating the computer system and we waited quite a while to receive the printed contract. When they did bring the extra supplies to the truck, they were incorrect and we had to wait extra time for them to get the right ones. When we returned home with the truck we discovered that all of the furniture pads were damp, had mold on them, and smelled. We did not use them as I did want to put them on my furniture.

Picked up trailer at 4pm. Drove to home 6 miles away, realized trailer tire was losing air. Called UHaul. She wouldn't even listen to me.. cut me off, said, “you'll have to talk to roadside assistance” then CLICK.. transferred me to them. I was on hold for 20 minutes before I gave up. We had to leave the next morning out of state, so we drove back to UHaul at 700 main st to explain that they gave us a trailer with a tire leaks. The young man sat and chatted chatted chatted with another customer for 30 minutes ... many people waiting. When it was our turn, he wouldn't listen to us. “You have to call Roadside assistance. You signed a contract.” My husband is an attorney. He said, “you gave us a trailer that was not roadworthy.” He guy said baciallt, “tough.” Call Roadside assistance. Meanwhile, there are 2 other trailers our size on the lot, one being returned. So I called Roadside Assiistance AGAI'N, WHILE I was sitting in UHaul parking lot!!! Still no answer after a 22 minute hold. The man at 700 Main St Green Bay UHaul finally called a manager who cancelled Our first contract and gave us a new trailer. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. We did nothing wrong... just drove it home, realized the whole trailer was tilting to one side and psi was low. ( we live in a very nice neighborhood., good roads, no construction. We did not do anything to this tire). I have no faith in I Haul. Something always goes wrong. So we spent close to 90 minutes at U Haul after a long day of work, only to have to come home and pack a daughter to go out of state for college at leave at 5am. It would have been nice if the First Lady I talked to would have just listened to me and acknowledged the situation. Ex: “Let me make sure I understand, Mrs Charles. YoUr husband Picked up the trailer at 4pm, drove it home, and realized the tire was losing air? And you would like to turn right back around to the U Haul location and get a different trailer, correct?” Instead, she literally cut me off and transferred me to Roadside assistance, who didn't pick up. I train people on communication skills. The people we interacted with at UHaul that evening threw gas on the dumpster fire that was our UHaul experience on 8/21. We have 3 daughters in college in three different states. I have another trailer rented for 8/31. I'm praying we don't run into these same experiences. My nerves won't handle it. I'm patient , but your peoples' behaviors pushed me over the edge.

Not an issue with this location, but with U Haul in general. Don't call people up 2 days ahead of their move and tell them that the reservation they made a month ago isn't available. And not give them a different solution than driving 40 miles out of the way to pick up something similar. I had to spend the entire morning Friday frantically searching for a suitable alternative. After speaking with other people I found out this is common with U-haul. I can only assume you double book trucks because people call to cancel. Here is a hint - charge a hefty cancel fee. Then you not only make up for that "lost" revenue, you have the truck available to rent to someone else. There was a couple in the line ahead of me that had a 20 ft. truck reserved and got there and it was given to someone else. They were moving across country. You didn't have anything to give them. You are screwing with people and have a bad reputation because of it and I feel bad for those store employees that are left getting screamed at. I will pay more money in the future to avoid U haul.

waited an hour to return truck. One person working on a Saturday and new on the job. Not his fault, he was trying his best to take care of people. Also had truck reserved at Appleton location for a month and was called 1 day before move and said we would have to pick up in Green Bay. Had to pay for extra mileage on truck to drive back to Appleton. Unacceptable, paid $40 extra in mileage due to your mistake and then wait 1 hour to return truck. I should be refunded $40.
