I got the uhaul and it said 3/4 full gas on the card from the receptionist, but when I got in the truck it was just over 1/2 full of gas. So I went to the receptionist and she confirmed the gas was just over 1/2 full and not 3/4 full and she said to call a number. I was moving and didn't have time to fix your mistake. I left the uhaul with over 5/8 gas. But I have a gas charge. Complete fraud... I intend to sue and bring that receptionist as a witness if this is not corrected.Matthew H.

Not enough help. Two employees cleaning and servicing RETURNED VEHICLES. One employee working inside location. Had to wait too long to get CHECKED-IN. Employees working outside did not have good customer skills. Employee outside said she could check you out but she seemed irritated to answer any questions. In 40 years of dealing with U-Haul I have never felt so uncomfortable. I noticed how making BLOCKED IN traffic didn't seemed to bother the vehicle cleaners at all. Why not stop the cleaning for a few minutes and take care of the customers.SUDIE B.

This location as a service center is the best one stop shopping venue. Because it is a service center, you can see examples of all the equipment to take measurements and determine your needs, make the reservation in person and have the confidence that when you come for the equipment that it is there and that you will be serviced all in one place. On line search does not default or steer the end user toward the service center. Instead, the convoluted process of requesting equipment at one location, then be directed to another location that may be unknown to the requester, does not instill confidence. When we needed additional equipment associated with the towing receiver, we ended up being directed to the service center near by. Now I only go directly to the service center....can see what my choices are, get what I want, talk to someone to confirm equipment details and availability...stress free. I moved out of my storage on Nov 1 , I called and closed my account . I moved out of state and they still charged me for rent and late fees. No one checks those units or they would have double checked and that would have verified my move out. When your moving 500 miles away you don't think to take names so I can't remember who it was that I spoke to that did not close out my account. My wife and I spent about $7k with uhaul moving and they want to be greedy and get one more month and late fees . I will take this up with my bank and credit card company. My truck I placed on hold was given to someone else. Highly unprofessional thing to do. I had a staff hired for the day. This put me in a large bind. They said they couldn't a thing about it. I called customer service and they were easily able to get a larger truck at the same location. Unfortunately the truck had no passenger seatbelt for my daughter. Very scary. The truck had over 168k miles and felt like it was literally falling apart every bump I hit. Then after all of that when I returned it. I asked for a receipt because I now have zero trust in this location and the lady rolled her eyes because she didn't want to get off her oversized butt to do her job that Uhaul pays her to do. Not once after all that happen did I raise my voice or even get upset. Didn't need their nasty attitudes. Absolutely terrible experience!DAVID S.

I had my belongings in the uhaul in Glen burnie md. The one gentleman that help me was great. I had my things there for a year and some months. When I went one day there was mouse traps everywhere. I was very upset that I was not noticed about the problem , but then thought it would be best that I removers my things a.s.a.p ( that day). The people that were working there did not really think nothing of it. So now I have to spend money to put my things somewheres else and I have to get all my furniture cleaned. For the time I was there I felt confident that my things were safe but it did nothing but cost me more money . I would not recommend uhaul to anyone. My only issue is that I filed the gas tank at the SAMS's club gas (2.2mi away) and yet the gas meter showed less than a full tank. I was charged a gas fee. Additionally, the overages were not present on my account when I logged on with my laptop. This would/could lead to an additional administrative charge due to lack of payment. This gives the impression uhaul is now a company that will nickel & dime their customers. I'm disappointed!KEVIN O.

On the back end I had to wait for storage facility to open and delivered truck 30 minutes late and was charges $40 and another $12 for a half day insurance. That's BS. Storage reservation not documented on the phone call. I was told that she would reserve the 5x10 but I could check on moving day if bigger unit was available.Nothing on reservation information mailed after the call confirmed the storage reservation. Day of pick up was provided a storage space and requested 24 hr access. Arrived at 9:45 pm and could not enter the unit. Called 24 hr surveillance number and no answer at the intercom. Called number posted that went to voicemail and then to sieve. Called National Uhaul customer service who suggested we text the number. I have screen shots of the text. Went in after 7 to report in person but But no response until 10:15am the next day asking about the truck return from the general manager.Recounted the lost hours of moving time because we could not unload the vehicle. She explained that there was an additional step for 24 hr access that had not been explained. She said she would extend the contract after speaking to other customers with reservations. No return call was given and I am now unable to get anyone to answer the line at 4:38 pm. ( location closes at 6). Moving is stressful enough without depending on transportation and storage from a center that not paying attention to the details.Gina J. | First Impressions

I've rented a 10x15 unit. Everything is great--except that location's storage unit assignment process. As you likely know, a 10x15 is actually and 5x10 combined with a 10x10 unit. I would like to have units as close to the elevator as possible. Alas, Uhauls "policy" is that they have to be right next to each other. Hence, I've been assigned two units as far from the elevator as possible. It's a lot of extra effort to get my furniture items to/from the units.Stefan K. | First Impressions

Only complaint, is only one elevator for the back facility. While it is centrally located, my unit was at the far end and it was quite a walk. Not an issue unless moving in a full truck of stuff. Also, make sure to go one size up from what you think you will need. My original selection was WAY too small. The first employee that helped me had no idea what she was doing. It was packed. I spent almost 3 hours at the facility, but system went down & phones went out, so it wasn't their fault. The girl asked for assistance numerous times from other employees. They gave me a unit and someone else walked me down to the unit & unlocked it. However the girl didn't give me a lock. I had to walk back up to the office which was a long walk. Someone else helped me this time and was much more knowledgeable. Walked back down to the unit and locked it. Then went back in and stood in a very long line again until I was finally checked in & did all the paperwork. Luckily I got someone else this time. Perhaps the first girl was new. Maybe you should have them well trained prior to checking people in. Everyone was very pleasant though, even when things were very busy.
