Was unable to get trailer on time. Agent claimed there is nothing they can do because â€œinternet was downâ€ despite having a reservation and showing it on my phone. I was told to find another U-Haul or call 800 U-Haul. After speaking with U-Haul,they informed me the agent could have gotten me the trailer through a digital device. As a result, I was delayed and lost precious vacation time with my family. In addition, drop off location did not take trailer. I should have been informed of this when I initially reserved the trailer. Again lost time locating a dealer that accepted trailer.JOHN C.

Harry is a true professional and will make things happen and correct even the worst customer mistakes that they've made because ordering and doing things online lends to mistakes. Harry is, sadly, a left over customer service person from the 70s and 80s where the customer is always right and will do anything to make things happen. I don't write reviews often and this certain rental was completely uneventful, but our last two rentals were squirrely and we needed to change parameters because of different challenges we had with both dates and the size of our rental. Harry made things happen. He never throws rules and regulations in people's faces like most people do these days. He just knows that moving sucks for people and that they are already vulnerable and truly works with you and what he has available to help make your crappy situation better. This U-Haul experience was the worst. The first location which â€œguaranteedâ€ my truck would be available and it was not. I stood there for over two hours and had to go to a different location. This location was poorly lit and Had crackheads harassing me. Multiple attempts to reach customer service were unsuccessful.Clint B.
Several times I was in and out over a months time planning a big move. The staff always took time with me and never got frustrated with my order changes. I was amazed that everyone there actually knew how to handle each circumstance. It went very smooth and I still cannot say enough positive. The only thing about this particular location is that it's located on the just south of a small bridge that is kind of elevated so when you try to pull out there's the wall to the bridge and raised area so it makes seeing on coming traffic extremely difficult. And oncoming traffic is definitely going faster than the speed limit. I like the store because close to my residence, because it has a great array of products and services available. However the sales staff is kind of slow and the lines are not marked well so I'm never quite sure where to stand for the next sales person.MICHAEL K.

They need more customer parking. There are 5 total parking spots, 2 are for ADA â€œdisabledâ€ persons. Therefore 3 parking spots for one of the busiest uhaul establishments I have ever seen and used both for personal and business. Lastly, the side and back of the entire property can be better cleaned up and maintained. I'm not getting a flat tire on my vehicle or rental truck for simple solution to blow the parking lot with a leaf blowerâ€¦..Not some grungy gay boy toy off the side of the road or living underneath the adjacent bridge. If you expected a â€œPCâ€ review, go bother some other kunty kweens. If you want the truth, ask me questions and reviews all day and night, but I ain't free the 2nd time around. Cause you ain't ever free the 1st time or the 10th!!! Now where's your loyalty rewards program Mr uhaul ??? ThnxxxLAMBROS I.

The mileage was wrong on the contract and I did not check it. We set the trip mileage at 0 and only drove 104 miles but got charged much more. I am sure someone used that truck and did not report the mileage. I am sure the location has cameras and would have the proof that Uhaul took my money today in error!! Not a fun experienceJ MARC B.
The contactless pickup was anything but contactless. It took so long to pick up the vehicle that it cut into my moving time. Vehicle was wet inside and I was not able to put my moving boxes in there as I didn't want them to get soggy and the bottoms to fall out. All in all this truck rental was mostly a fail from start to finish.Dana R.

The location I have storage at and rent all my vehicles at seems to be being shortchanged when it comes to pickup trucks and cargo vans. At $3 a gallon for gas, I rent the pickup trucks and cargo vans because they use less gas if there isn't one available, I don't rent. Also, U-Haul needs a Rewards Program for it's regular customers.RICHARD C.

This location used to have more cargo vans but it's not the case anymore. U-Haul is probably losing customers who want cargo vans instead of larger trucks because it costs more to fuel the trucks than the vans. Also, I have been a customer renting at least 20 vehicles per year for over 10 years, along with storage units and while I'm always told I'm appreciated on a local level by the manager at this location, the corporate level doesn't recognize repeat customers by having a rewards program for repeat vehicle renters and I've never received a thank you from the corporate level for all the money I've spent at this location making me the best customer U-Haul has at this location. Van was dirty. I ordered furniture dolly and they didn't place in van had to come back she would not give me credit for the 8miles I had to return to get the dolly. The miles were 64 starting and not 63 still got charged. Disgusted!DONNA P.

The online system was good and easy. No big complaints there. Our unit has stair-only access, which wouldn't have deterred me, but I could see that being an issue for others. I don't remember that being stated in the description. We did have difficulty finding our unit. I did not see the link for the facility map that was in an email until after we went to the facility. We were driving around and couldn't find the right building, a directional sign, or map. We eventually went into the office, where the only associate was working with another customer. We waited for a few minutes, but eventually a small paper map on an empty associates desk, from which we were able to find our unit. I would recommend some signage to at least direct cars toward the right access doors for the different alphabetic regions. The "air conditioned" unit was very hot. After loading our unit we went back the the office and told the associate who said they knew and that it was going to be fixed soon. We went back today (two weeks later) and the AC unit was running, but it was still above 85° On the wall mounted thermometer. Not the end of the world, but worth noting, the door stop on the access door to our section is broken. One final note, our unit had a rat trap in the corner. On one hand, I appreciate pest control, but on the other, it was concerning.Cory K. | Online Move In
