Fire the manager. I had a problem and instead of him listening and helping he actually made fun of me and basically called me stupid. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible, Horrible... I asked him if it was possible to get some sort of credit because as I filled up the gas tank more than necessary. That tank was given to me 5/8 full when i got the truck. When at the gas station The tank level wasn't moving up and it didn't move up until i was driving for a few miles after filling up on my way to their location. I ended putting in about 11 gallons only using the truck for 14-16 miles during my rental. He basically looked at me saying we don't pay for gas and if you only went that amount of miles you should have known better. And why did I do that! I said are you basically calling me stupid? He was degrading and also this was in front of his employee. I said Id rather have gotten a full tank he said well I should have done that in the beginning when i picked up the truck. I told him I wanted to do the right thing and basically that amounted to putting an excessive amount of gas in the tank... He said thats my problem. We don't refund for gas. I asked if he could credit me the few miles. He said no. He said do you rent from us I said yes I have. He said you should no better. I also stated I usually rent trailers not trucks... I again asked if there was anything he could do for me! He decline and said no. I basically said well thank you for not understanding and I won't return. The guy has no customer service etiquette or people skills. Mind you I rented this at around 5:45 pm and returned it way early at around 1:30. Steven Jowers Unsatisified customer

I was booked to drop off at another location on my original contract. That owner was argumentative and refused to take trailer. He talked negative about u-haul and said he was not doing u-haul any more. Was very offensive. So I drove back to U-haul in Wilton Manors and they took it. I would recommend you pull your contract in Oakland Park, he ranted on and on about how poor U-haul was. That he never should have been sent this trailer, He said he does not take trailers. Was yelling at me. I proceeded to call for help and was only but on a 5 minute hold, as I stood in your store and was bombarded by your representative. He had me hang up and sent me back to other location and said he would call them. I left.

we were returning a trailer after the Pride parade. While I went inside my coworker overhead Tasha who was helping get the trailer off saying how she dilsliked anything gay and that she would never go to such a disgraceful parade. She also commented negatively on her transgender cousin. That he Shoud admit he is a man and not a woman. Why were we subjected to such a display of bigotry, intolerance and judgement. Truly the worst way to end a Pride day.

It took over an hour to get checked in. I had a reservation but it was still painfully slow. There were plenty of people working but most were just standing around talking... I drove 6 miles and was charged nearly $50 for gas when I returned the vehicle. Horrible manager with a horrible attitude. I will never use U-haul again. Larry Fisher 954-849-3383

It was easy to rent and return the equipment. However customer service lacks when you have 4-5 employees behind the counter and only 2 really working or staff that hides behind merchandise. I can't see them; how can they see me? If the store is empty why should a customer have to wait with 4 employees at the counter. Now I understand why there were only 2 employees working there for a very long time. My suggestions: get rid of the merchandise that blocks the counter where the employees have to rent equipment, have your staff up sell such as do you need boxes, tape, hand truck or ask what they are moving? There is money to be made. The other thing is the staff should answer the phone instead of talking about their personal life while someone is on hold. That is not good sales management, not good business and is plain rude to leave someone on hold.

Customer service needs a little work, worker did not explain anything to me,I had to ask. Blankets were not in van, had to go back to get them. Worker was nice but didn’t go out of way to help either. In the middle of helping me ask me to wait so he could ring up another customer. Was not impressed with help. But facility was clean and well stocked. Price for rental was pretty high for 5 hours.

Be more companionate when a customer breaks down in one of your vehicles. Don’t have road side take so long to assist customers and have plans set in place to make the customer happy again instead of giving the run around it’s a total inconvenience and I will never come back to uhaul again there is way to many companies out here for you guys to b messing up like that budget enterprise all of those companies would have never done their customers like that

Fully explain to the customer about your 19.95 truck rental by the hour or by the day and if you are going to charge the customer for another day if they are late returning the truck back after using it for a few hours and late returned after those hours are missed.

The people at this location were fabulous. They bent over backwards to help me. I was so impressed that I wrote down all their names so I could write to Uhaul management to let you know how great this team is but now i can't find the list. One gal, I think Ricky was her name, spent an entire morning driving from East to West Broward and then all the way to Boca to obtain the trailer I needed. The manager (Harry?) authorized all the time, gas and personnel to make my move happen. Carlos facilitated my UHaul rental professionally, kindly and as though he really cared! Thanks to the Wilton Manors crew for making a difficult job for me SO much easier. I appreciate their care, concern, professionalism and friendliness.

U-Haul should have a frequent vehicle renters rewards program to encourage small business owners to use U-Haul trucks more to keep their business expenses low by not having to buy delivery vehicles when they can rent them as need from U-Haul.

The back of truck was not clean, full of rocks everywhere. I returned the vehicle, only to be told by "Junior" to get back in the vehicle and move it to a different location. I found this employee lazy and directive. After moving the vehicle, i was told an additional charge would be placed on the truck rental. So this location charged me for the rental and i was told an additional charge was to be added, but the first charge would drop off?

I rent the 5x8 trailer about a half dozen times a year. It would be great if U-haul had the trailers with the barn doors (double doors that open out). The pull down (garage) doors are a pain and sometimes need to be oiled. But, overall, great location and friendly employees.

The inside of drivers cab was a disaster. both door arm rest were so dirty, black like they havent been cleaned in years! steering wheel felt the same. soon as i went home i wiped the whole inside down. also inside the store- theres so much stuff piled up high at check out lanes, they cannot see if people are waiting or not and you cannot see them as well. they need to greet people better too- like saying- good morning! can i help you? not just a hi! people dont know if they are ready to help you or not??

Paid $567.00 for hitch and wiring harness. Harness does not work and I can't get hitch installer to return a call for an appointment to wire it correctly. Been at it about 1 week now. Folks that answer the phone are singularly disinterested in dealing with the problem.

When renting the vehicle on-line, the .69 cent per mile mileage charge was clear but at checkout, I was charged an additional fuel charge which was NOT clearly disclosed during rental. This hidden charge is deceitful and borderline predatory charging because it is assumed the .69 cent mileage charge covers fuel.

I rented a 10' truck. The truck had a full tank of gas, was clean, and drove great. The service was great also. My only concern was that the inside of the truck was still wet from being cleaned out-which was a little bit of an inconvenience since I was picking up furniture. Overall, I had a great experience and would rent at this location again.

Had an issue with my designated drop-off location (not Wilton Manors) for a car hauler trailer that refused to accept it. Had to find and go to this site instead, the manager was very helpful to be sure I wasn't charged for dropping off at an alternate dealer. The staff was very rude over the phone with me when. I called to confront them because they charged my debit card with out my authorization for a another truck rental I didn't not rent very rude.

Reserved unit and when I arrived no unit available. This was after renting a U-Haul truck and that wasn’t avail either. Sent me to another facility and they were full of attitude. No more U-Haul 4 me.
