Employee kids running behind around the counter yelling while trying to get a truck was a little unprofessional. The check out process was also concerning when the employee checking in trucks refused to acknowledge my return. She took her time cleaning the truck while just staring at me. Failed to knowledge me, say I'll be with you in a moment, etc. appeared to have a bad attitude and bothered by my business. I have returned a lot from your location and even had a large garage for amount a year. The customer experience today has certainly changed my opinion of this location. Today wasn't the best trip for me to this store. Though we got the job done, the journey to rent was awful. To be short, a problem in the system resulted in about 18 taps, insertions, and swipes of two separate pay cards along with some failed manual input attempts. I was left emotional after 45 mins of that torture, a trip to the atm, and a friendly 10-min grace window to pay after normal store hours. I'm glad I didn't have to change locations. Also glad I didn't blow up. Jareth, please be a bit more sensitive to customers feelings and stop putting so much emphasis on the possibility of FRAUUUDULENT suspicions at my bank. The owner who checked me in was beyond rude. She was talking on her cell phone, put a client on speaker phone and started helping him instead of finishing my transaction and asking the caller to hold. Glad he was more important than I was. Service like that will Make me never use them again. Employees lead by example. 1. Truck maintenance issue. Right rear tire blow-out at the end of first day of driving! Very fortunate I was on city streets and no longer on the highway as it could have resulted in a serious accident! 2. Right rear replacement tire exhibited sidewall damage - similar to previous damage - at the end of trip on second day, but no blow-out occurred. 3. Why are deteriorated and unsafe tires used on UHaul trucks? 4. Would not recommend UHaul to others due to condition of truck tires.EDWARD A.

Be honest with customers and notify them of any service fees that will apply. I was told gas would cost $4.85 per gallon, but was not informed of any service fee on top of that, or a service fee for returning the vehicle a few minutes later being that it was end of the day. This is like extortion, not letting a customer know the true price, and then charging a bunch of fees to their credit card without permission. My rental was estimated at $44, but I was charged $150. Plus I left the new queen mattress bag in the truck since I didn't use it, and they didn't refund that to me.ANNA G.

Was unable to get trailer on time. Agent claimed there is nothing they can do because â€œinternet was downâ€ despite having a reservation and showing it on my phone. I was told to find another U-Haul or call 800 U-Haul. After speaking with U-Haul,they informed me the agent could have gotten me the trailer through a digital device. As a result, I was delayed and lost precious vacation time with my family. In addition, drop off location did not take trailer. I should have been informed of this when I initially reserved the trailer. Again lost time locating a dealer that accepted trailer.JOHN C.

Harry is a true professional and will make things happen and correct even the worst customer mistakes that they've made because ordering and doing things online lends to mistakes. Harry is, sadly, a left over customer service person from the 70s and 80s where the customer is always right and will do anything to make things happen. I don't write reviews often and this certain rental was completely uneventful, but our last two rentals were squirrely and we needed to change parameters because of different challenges we had with both dates and the size of our rental. Harry made things happen. He never throws rules and regulations in people's faces like most people do these days. He just knows that moving sucks for people and that they are already vulnerable and truly works with you and what he has available to help make your crappy situation better. This U-Haul experience was the worst. The first location which â€œguaranteedâ€ my truck would be available and it was not. I stood there for over two hours and had to go to a different location. This location was poorly lit and Had crackheads harassing me. Multiple attempts to reach customer service were unsuccessful.Clint B.
Several times I was in and out over a months time planning a big move. The staff always took time with me and never got frustrated with my order changes. I was amazed that everyone there actually knew how to handle each circumstance. It went very smooth and I still cannot say enough positive.
