Better communication amongst staff..Staffers recommendations were poor.Ran around for 45extra miles and 1/2 tank of gas..After the 3rd station finally there was enough storage space..Taxed my patience and time..Seattle streets are difficult with 1200lb load.. Broke my back window due to the fact I got ran around and the trailer hit my boat and busted my back window..It seems the insurance I got only covers damage to the trailer in which there is none..Not the trailer causing damage to my truck...On the brighter side of things I made it..The storage area is adequate at this facility..The equipment towed to specification . In hindsite I should've called 253 859 3729 # I forgot her name but she was able to direct me to a facility that could accommodate my needs..The other 2 facilities made poor assumptions and really didn't seem to know ..The 2nd facility at least told me to call 1 800 u haul to give better directions..He wasn't interested in finding out for me..Anyways this is how it worked out..I will use your service again because usually it's seamless just not my day..Thanks bottom line we made it..John p

I rented a 10 foot truck from U-Haul. This truck has a special feature in which someone can push a button to tow an item. This will significantly reduce miles per gallon. When a customer receives a truck, U-Haul should ensure that such buttons are not pushed or selected because they’re in the best position to know the features of the truck. This is not a “default“ position, as the customer is not leaving the parking lot telling anything. Because of U-Haul’s lack of attention to detail in this regard, I had to spend a lot more on gas than I otherwise would have, as I never towed anything.

The employee named Eric was one of the nicest young men that I have ever met, and was very prompt and fast within reason to get the trailer hooked up and to make sure all lights worked like they should. He is definitely a perfect person and should be a manager based on his knowledge of the business and the fact he works with the customer very well. A+ for Eric at the federal way wa location

Renting a van to move students item from Pullman to Tacoms. Reserved van for pickup at 7am Sunday 12/29. U-Haul could not provide key at that time and I had to pickup 12 hours earlier at 7pm on 12/28, meaning return was 12 hours earlier, which I could not meet. Van was wet on inside, was told it would dry by morning, it was not and I had to wipe it out. When returning the link to return did not work. Could not find my location so I could not complete drop off. This was not a good experience.

Make sure information is correct. I paid 15 dollars for gas and I only drove 13 miles. I was CHARGE for 14 miles and the truck was NOT on full as the paper work included. Yes I brought my receipt in and talked with the salesperson about it. The reply was SORRY SIR THATS TO BAD. NEXT TIME USE THE LINK WILL SENT YOU. My reply was enjoy your New Year's. And keep the change. It's not the MONEY IT'S THE TREATMENT.

Had very good experience with the staff at the Federal Way location. Actually found me the best rate for the rental, much less than I had anticipated.

I rented the Uhaul. It was given to me with less then the quarter tank stated. The check engine light kept coming on and during one of our trips it broke down at which point Uhaul sent a mechanic out to get it towed and I relinquished it to them. Uhaul told me they would take care of every thing and then today billed me about $200.00 for the charges and gas and "other" fees. This is not right and I'm requesting this be corrected immediately.

Don't bother your customers with this continued interruption by text. This is RUDE and very unprofessional. If I had something negative to say I would. Your survey is the problem not the store. Based on this it makes me not to want to do business with any of your stores. I will look elsewhere possibly next time because of this. BACK OFF.

Honestly the best service we’ve gotten, super easy to check in and out to rent what we needed for the day. Customer service was great too. We were also happy with the price we got our rental truck for. For the 8.5 hours we used, we paid around $60ish for everything and tax. We are super satisfied.

Make it clear to the customer that cash is not accepted to reserve your vehicle. I would also make it clear that even though the van is $19.95 for the day the average cost is well above that and should be clearly stated. When it was all said and done at the end of the day I spent $85 to rent the van for approximately six hours, I could have easily got a car rental of equal or greater value for that price and kept it for 24 hours not 4 hours! overall it was a great experience but I probably would not rent again especially at those prices I was greatly disappointed to find out that the van was going to cost me $19.95 plus insurance, plus mileage, plus taxes and fees!

The team that I interacted with in early 2019 was rude, slow and had no sense of urgency. The team that I interacted with was fast, thoughtful and efficient. Your dispatcher needs to listen to customer's preferred pickup location. Took me 1:30 pm to 3:50 pm to get a 15' truck at third location. The first two locations staff not the help line operator were able to help me to check out the truck. Final diagnosis was your system had crashed.

I was over charged for seven miles. I calculated the mileage for my trip to on mapquest and it came to approximately 25 miles, however I was charged for 32 miles. When I asked not to be charged for the additional seven miles I was told that I had to speak with a manager named Michael. Who failed to resolve the issue, because, he claimed that I had failed to catch the discrepancy in initial mileage when I first took the truck. This is true, so merely glanced at the odometer and I did not notice that it was seven miles off from what my paperwork stated. Also Michael attempted to account for the seven miles that I was overcharged by claiming that this can be accounted for based on the fact that I drove south from the Federal Way location to Fife, and then south again to Tacoma, then back north to Federal Way. However, this makes no sense as I would have to drive either through Fife or by Fife on my way to Tacoma. it was not out of the way as Michael claimed. I do not give bad reviews very often, however, I feel like Michael could have at least made an attempt to resolve this matter. The resolution would have been waiving the seven miles that I was overcharged for. The lady who helped me when I returned the vehicle was friendly, and this poor review should not reflect negatively on her. As I understand that Michael made the final decision to overcharge me by approximately $13.10 I hope that amount is worth losing my business the next time I need to rent a vehicle.

Truck #EL1743C has a power steering and braking issue. This information was provided to the check-in person the last time I rented the truck and has not been corrected to date. This is absolutely unacceptable to be renting trucks with known safety issues and not the first time I have experienced this issue at this location.

Location does not accept after hour drop off. Uhaul app gives me the option to drop off and check out after hours but there is no place to out the key at the location. Found out the next day they are changing key drop. I checked out at the counter but no instructions are given as an alternative method to return key at time of check out. App failed to allow check in saturday morning. Had to see someone at the counter. Very frustrating.

As many times as I have had to go into the office it is always under staffed. At one point I saw 4 employees standing outside smoking and talking, while there were at least 6 people in line.
