The drop off was a little if difficult. The website would not do what it was suppose to do for me to do what you all asked for me to do even after sharing my location with U-Haul it still denied me so that became frustrating especially when you all charge $20 for not having a proper drop off

I had a paid for reservation for a 10ft truck when I arrived at the pick up location the facility was closed. I had arranged for mover help same day but because the facility was closed I was delayed 2hours and had lost an hour from the movers. I did call uhaul and it took almost two hours before I could get a truck and I was only able to complete half my move.

Be more forthcoming with information regarding price change. I was told my the associate that if I needed to extend my time just to call. What was not mentioned was there would be another day added to your rental. When I called to extend by an hour, the person on the phone didn't let me know there would be an extra day added to my rental. I ended up turning the rental in 30minutes past my original time and was charged an additional day. If the information was relayed in a more customer concerning manner, I couldn't have made the choice to get it there on time or be alright with the extra day. Customer service is very important to me and I didn't feel like I got that courtesy.

I was charged for a fuel fee, stating fuel was 1/8th of a tank when the vehicle was clearly at 1/4 of a tank when dropped off, which is what was required. Personnel at the location did not provide any response for this discrepancy and essentially told me tough luck.

All the staff members were exceptionally friendly! When I arrived to pickup my rental trailer, it was raining pretty bad, and I never heard a single gripe or even mention of negativity, the staff member was incredibly helpful and polite, left with a smile on my face which is incredibly rare when it comes to buisness in the area. 10/10 would recommend!

Was double charged for my rental. I was told it would be $33, I was charged $51. Not sure how the extra charge came into play, trailer was even returned an hour early, connection of the trailer to the hitch ball was not tight enough. Trailer was extremely bouncy. I had to tigthen it. Besides the rust, trailer was in good shape.

The staff at this location were unprofessional and lacking knowledge. It was very bad experience from their inappropriate workplace chatter, dismissive demeanor, and misguidance regarding U-Haul procedure.

Issue came when moving out. I rented a truck from this location so I can load my unit and go. Drove from the apartment to the uhaul store to be told they moved my reservation to another location. Makes no scense I had to pay by the mile and had to go elsewhere for my truck. That not being the worst, when I drove to the new location the stated no trucks were available. Really waisting more time because of someone's inabilities. Than had to call the first place to yet again be sent further away to another uhaul which now put more time and miles on my car just to have to drive a uhaul back to my original spot 5 miles from my house and ad cost to my rental This added at minimum and extra 60 miles to my total as the original location was five miles from my house and the new once was around 17 Long story short waisted half and day and 100 between gas miles and personal cars gas getting the run around When discussing this to the location I got the oh well attitude. So no I won't use nor recommend uhaul when there are other options!

Upon entering the establishment, four workers were having a loud conversation. The woman I encountered was kind but I could not hear most of what she was saying and when I had to respond I had to talk very loudly. At one point I found myself yelling over them and their conversation and one of them looked at me with a very snide look. The U-Haul I was given & rented out was old, the engine light was on and after driving only 11 miles I was close to a half a tank. It was eating gas very quickly and the AC was going in and out.

not make customer 15-20 to get checked in. when there is 3 people at the counter this is poor service, I use to help a friend at her uhaul business that she no longer has and for them to do anything but check in the truck is uncalled for .. with 3 people there guess they dont like checking in trucks. but it was clean other than the floor mats needed to be wiped down so took him a few minutes to check in the truck once he went out there. the one person told me that due to covid that we had to keep the doors open and let it air out for 15 mins. really that is stupid due to if you have a mask on outside it wouldnt matter . , I worked hard and was ready to go home so getting it checked in and me not hanging around would have been better.

It's been since 12/24 and I've still yet to be a able to pick up my rental truck or get to my storage unit!!!! I and my friend stayed bk n forth at uhaul dealer location for 36 hrs + off n on trying to get online check in process final so I can get my kids xmas gifts and my belongings bk to my family in whiteville NC and so thnx to poor communication I missed Xmas with my 5 year old grandchild n family..I pd $216 .00 for a truck that's still sitting at Larry's in williamnston NEVER able to access the vehicle online process...I want my money back or my truck delivered to me or I'll be contacting my lawyer tomorrow morning

This place I do believe had people residing in the units. I've seen and heard on several occasions of me being there talking on the other side of my unit but when I drive around no doors are open nor cars visible near the talking and people that have an access card walk in and out the gate straight to the road. And I had more dirt than the outside in my unit.

Excellent service and attention; Mrs. Easely was very professional and answered all my questions, showed me the facility, which helped me to reach my decision. All representatives followed COVID procedures and made me and other patrons feel comfortable in the area. The only flaw was that this particular location does not offer a military discount, but Mrs. Easely explained to me the company policy, which should be revised, Fayetteville is military all over. Thanks for the good service.

Everything was fine except the cost it's too high in my opinion I found another unit somewhere else that is twice the size and cost less much less than what I was paying at uhaul so if I was to rate my experience from 1 to 10 ten being awesome I would rate it a 5 because cost matters a lot if you on a fixed income and I only get SSI I struggled every month to pay my storage fee so I will not use or recommend uhaul to my friends and family

I rented a truck for our move which they informed me a qualified me for a month of free storage so I went ahead and opted for that decision $100 later I realized I never received a Free month so when contacting the facility it took me speaking to a higher up manager because the staff there that excepted my payment informed me there was nothing they can do now after speaking with the manager she said she would credit me the following month being August when I was settled in around 20 August I realized I had charges of $165 on my account now mind you I had already paid the first months rent upon getting keys for the facility it took me three days just to get in touch with somebody who had professionalism every time I called I received no greeting or was immediately thrown on hold I even waited 35 minutes on hold just to be rudely hung up on when I finally got a callback was when I received an email stating I was behind on charges and I replied saying until I spoke with somebody I was not going to make any payments finally a manager reached out to me and did her job if the customer service and lack of professionalism wasn’t enough we only had our things in storage for less than two months and brought an ant problem into our home thanks to it no matter where you are around the entire facility there is no pest control there are bugs and spiders everywhere we’ve had storage units in the past so I’m familiar with the pest control precautions that clearly this facility does not take into consideration I would not recommend this facility Being placed in Fayetteville is not an excuse to have Tacky unprofessional demeanor.

The only reason we are leaving is because we have a waterfront home with a new shelter for our trailer and boat. The U-Haul facility was awesome. We moved to Clayton NC and left our RV s there. No good covered storages in our area. We commutes to Fayetteville when we needed Ro get our RV s. thanks again!!

Initially (in 2017), I reserved a smaller A/C unit 6 weeks in advance. I even called a week prior to assure that everything was on track, which it was. The morning I was to take possession of the unit, I was informed that a man from Alaska came in and needed a unit ASAP. They gave him my unit. I was furious! They gave me a larger unit that was not air conditioned and was $40 more expensive per month. They gave me a small discount that month as a consolation. I was clearly dissatisfied. The manager did not care. Since then, my monthly rent has increased several times. I donated most contents just to get rid of this unit. I do not care for how this situation was handled, and I am thankful to be done with it.

The only issue I had was the rates were raised after a year. There were no added benefits, or changes to the site, it appears (at the surface) to just be a grab for more money. A 10% increase shouldn't happen within a year. This is just my opinion though.

The storage place in North Carolina was excellent but the one in Savannah Georgia was horrible they had me going to four different locations I was supposed to drop off the car there I was supposed to drop my fridge off there when I got there no one had no reservations for me at all finally I thought the address they gave me at first and went to gillspie and they waited on me and help me solve my situation cuz I was wasting gas and running all over Fayetteville spending money that I did not have. So I will be going in Monday morning to talk to a general manager

There were three people involved with getting me in the unit. Tinessa, Vernon, and some other guy seemed like a new employee, who apparently was off work after checking me into the unit. First, I was told that my contract was not correct for a one-way (one month free) rental of a 10x10 storage unit, so I paid for the 10x10 unit and then called the person who issued the contract to have it corrected. Then, I was told it would not qualify even if it was corrected to a one way by both Vernon and Tinessa because the distance has to be more than 100 miles from where I was moving, but then that changed to 50 miles a few minutes later, and that the distance was between store locations and not moving locations, not at all what I thought the original contract was for. After several minutes of trying to fix the issue, I was then informed by Tinessa that once the unit was rented out that I couldn't be refunded. I hadn't even put anything in the unit yet!! Honestly, if I'd know that half my day was going to be wasted arguing over one month of free rent on a storage unit, I would have just rented a larger one somewhere else for what I paid here. I will be needing another U-haul in the near future, but I will not be revisiting this location again.
