I actually reserved a 5x8 trailer on May 24th for pickup on August 7th from your Winston Churchill and royal Windsor location. I get there at 9am only to tell me they don't have one for me. Lied to me about a manager texting me that they changed my reservation to an open trailer. The staff were not helpful- there was a 5x8 trailer that was going to London one way and refused to give it to me. NOT ONE OF YOUR STAFF had the common sense to give me the trailer - I ASKED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER AND WAS TOLD HE DIDN'T WANT TO BE BOTHERED - what kind of customer service are you guys running here. I wasted 2 hours of my morning and was told they had a 4x8 at the queen away location - I had to drive there to pick it up which was absolutely ridiculous- they were helpful. Worst customer service experience I have ever received. On top of that you have an old chair with rolling wheels that when I sat on it it pushed back and I fell on my tailbone and have had back pain ever since! I am considering speaking to a lawyer. Not the experience I was after, especially when I booked it way in advanced! 0 stars Mike

I booked a truck and a furniture dolly .However, on my moving date, they failed to provide the furniture dolly, which I desperately needed. I was extremely bothered because they had confirmed availability before explicitly confirming that both the truck and the dolly were reserved for me GUARANTEED!

Poor management and staff awareness, rented Uhaul on Sunday to move stuff, always use Uhaul because I have been using them ever since when I do my moving and so on. Trusted them so much did not bother check the starting miles on the truck. Next thing I know i return the truck and boom they told me I used 78 miles which is around 150 km. This is not possible as I travel 1 way 30 km and back let's just say I used 70 km to go get gas.. I only put 25 dollars worth of Gas to meet the initial tank fill. They gave me $20 off from 140.. the point is someone is doing dirty work not MARKING EXACT STARTING KM OF THE TRUCK.. my ADVICE IS EVEN IF YOU TRUST THEM CHECK STARTING KM OR MILES. So disappointed I might just use other rental. Thrle lady who helped me even tried to cheat saying I used 78 miles instead of 68 I said I checked the last odometer she checked again and said I was right.. WOW what was the purpose of you checking and assuming? BIG DISAPPOINTMENT TRIED TO CHEAT ME TWICE.

My original booking was at a different location, and was supposed to be 24/7 access. This was not the case, as the web site told me it was a hand-deliver location. This was weeks after the booking, so caught me totally off guard the morning I went to get the truck. Fortunately, the 24/7 phone line located another available truck at a nearby location. I certainly did not need the added stress, though.

It was difficult to drive out with the trailer from the spot - it was very tight and nobody from the staff helped me. Wanted to return the equipment after hours - the place was all packed with trucks, so I was not able to leave the trailer, had come again next morning

When I arrived at the store I saw the manager mistreating a client and also I felt rushed to get things done and the lady clerk was not flexible with the drop off time, and told me that the truck was in the back, but it was at the front of the store which made waste 10min.

The young staff needs more training. Nonetheless their responses to the problems encountered were excellent. The gas level was wrong. No one came to do a vehicle check on checkin. The time was not adjusted to account for the delay in leaving so I received two phone calls at the same time wondering where I was. The young lady who did my final account was excellent, apologized and corrected the errors. I also believe that the communication issues (two staff phoning) may be corporate and certainly don't help your reputation.

The Visa payment took a minute or two to process. Steps to check in before that were also slow. Staff could be better trained for attaching trailer chains: the chain hooks can't fit through the holes, but a loop of chain does. Three of them did not find this solution before we remembered it.

I was charged $12.00 for fuel even though I put $10.00 of fuel in tank before returning( I have receipt). I did less than 35km so obviously the fuel level was recorded incorrectly. The gauge was exactly where it was when I picked up. No way I used $22.00 of gas in less than 2 hrs and 35km. I rent trucks all the time from you not going to if this isn't cleared up. Obvious mistake

Kay at reception was excellent. My app wasn't working for me and she took care of check in so quickly and friendly. Although the person who was getting the truck from the back forgot the dolly I ordered; when I opened the back to for first load it was too late to go back, and the check-in with Kay was so perfect & helpful, I didn't want to make any issue after that. Very productive day, thank you!

I rented a van on July 8th and was overcharged when it was returned. I was charged for fuel despite having fuelled the van myself. I returned to the location and the person in charge agreed to refund the fuel charge after checking the fuel level and comparing it to the level when rented. Despite six further follow up emails there has been zero response and no refund. The van was fine, the promise of a refund not kept and zero response to my inquiries has made this a very negative experience.

This is a disgrace of a location for U-Haul. I've rented trucks from U-Haul for numerous moves at different locations and have never had an issue. Yet, this storage U-Haul location is awful. The management and staff are impossible to communicate with because they never answer their phones and the staff are not properly trained. I was charged twice for a lock I bought for my locker and they refused to assist and refund me in the matter. I also was told by the staff when I first got to the facility that they would have to see if they had storage available, when I already reserved my storage unit online (stating it was available). Fortunately they had one unit left but it took them an hour to figure out how to assist me. They took my credit card information as they said they would make automatic monthly payments on my card for my unit. However a month later I'm getting calls stating I'm late with paying. Why did they take my credit card information? Is that being used by an employee? Such an awful experience. I would not recommend. The only reason I gave this location a "2 stars" is because the actual storage units suffice to store your items. Honestly a self-serve storage locker facility would probably be better. Renter beware.

Hi - the picture on the website does not match the storage units. I wanted a drive up but you have trucks parked down the middle of every aisle making it extremely difficult to get my car in and impossible to back up into it. It was difficult to find anyone to ask for help. I did eventually and he was very nice but it was extremely confusion and instructions didn't match what i had to do.

The staff was completely unhelpful and didn't seem to know what they were doing. Trying to speak to someone there to get help is virtually impossible holding on the phone for over an hour. Tried canceling online and although I received a confirmation it I was still harassed with calls and emails telling me I was behind in payment. Someone please help this location out with some proper customer service training 

Mouse poop in the storage unit, no communication with staff, difficult to speak to someone and even if you did, they rarely followed through with what they said they would. It was a terrible experience. I will never recommend Uhaul again.

It's nearly impossible to speak to someone on the phone unless you have extreme patience. 9 times out of 10, I was on hold so long that it transferred me to the U.S.A. Also, the locks are very hard to open after a few months, took nearly 1 hr to open a few times. It's a good thing I didn't go in it often.

My experience with the storage option at 1472 The Queensway was among the worst customer experiences I've ever had. I was offered a free first month as I usually am with my reservations, given the fact that I have a corporate account. When I took the offer the sales associate confirmed this with me at the time the first month would be free and proceeded to process the transaction. Only after I was all moved in called me to tell me that there had been a mistake. They subsequently threatened to "cut the lock if I did not return to the store and dispose of all my items." They had called me after hours to tell me this! The store closed at 7:00pm on Wednesday and they called me at 7:45pm after I had already gotten to my house and returned the truck! Completely inappropriate on behalf of U-Haul especially consider I spend thousands of dollars every month renting equipment from this company and this exact location! They then proceeded to steal a total of $271.49 from me by charging my account without authorization! What kind of organization does that! I am taking further action and will consider strongly closing my account with U-Haul at the end of the month after I've fulfilled all my business obligations.

Trying to get a hold of someone to close my contract was an awful process. The general manager did not respond to any of my emails and I could not get through by phone. Uhaul should not have an online move out portal if I you're just going to make customers go in to the facility in person. The whole process made me not want to use uhaul again as it caused a ton of unnecessary stress.
