I gave up on the mobile return app after 3 attempts. Everything was fine about it except that the app FORCED you to load pictures which wasn't working.Eric L.
I walked in and was standing with no one in site. No one greeted me for about 10 min. Then someone walked out and said she will be with you in a second I'm housekeeping. I was handed my keys and was told with a point your trucks out in the lot just look for the number. I wonder if that is typical procedure when giving a customer the truck the rented?Sarai T.

I chose the mobile pickup as I was picking up the Uhaul on a Sunday and did the online registration to make the pickup process quicker as I was on a time limit to get things moved out. Upon arrival, there was no instructions on how to pick up the Uhaul using my mobile device. I had to go inside the store and speak with a Customer Rep. The guy had a mouth full of chew and was spitting into a bottle every 2 min and was hard to understand as I kept asking him to repeat himself said the mobile app was junk and doesn't work. 2 guys and 1 lady sitting around cracking jokes. This took me 37 minutes to get through. All the information I filled out online was a waste of time because I was asked for all this information again by the customer rep that was taking his time chewing tobacco and cracking jokes with his 2 coworkers. I had to get the dolly myself and find the truck myself instead of 1 out of 3 people to help get the Uhaul or the dolly ready for me. When I returned the Uhaul truck, I was charged an extra $9.98 for not having the fuel line exactly where it was when I picked it up. The fuel was supposed to be 7/8 full. I filled it between 3/4 and 7/8. The uhaul truck was running during the checkout process. There's no way it cost nearly $10 for a hairline or two on the fuel gauge. Just absurd to find every small reason to charge me more for renting a uhaul. Customer service was poor and slow. And please take out your tobacco chew so customers can understand you. Not everything you say is funny, especially when customers are in a rush.JONATHAN B.

We were told at the beginning the boxes would arrive on 1/10/22 and we had made arrangements for this to happen and trying to do everything we could to ensure they would arrive then. Uhaul then told us they would arrive in February instead, more than a month later! Then they called again and said sorry we made a mistake they will now arrive the 10th again. Then I got another call saying actually they would arrive the 21st. All this to say i still don't know when I will get the boxes and its been the worst moving experience ever! I want some kind of refund because you guys could have just told me February and i wouldn't have made other plans for the business equipment in the boxes. It just seems deceitful.Elliott G.

I moved out two days into the pay cycle, most companies would refund a pro-rated balance but not uhaul. While the facility and the personnel were nice the corporate policies should be reviewed to be more customer oriented. I am not pleased with my experience due to corporate and therefore rating my experience as below average.James P. | Overall Experience
Made a reservation online but when we went to the location to pick up the truck. We found out we had an unpaid balance from a previous rental. I would suggest having your website notify people at the time the reservation is made so they can resolve the problem before hand.Earl E.

I've been coming here for years. This week I had a trailer for a couple days. When I returned it I was less than 2 hours over my drop off time. Upon check in I was told that they were not charging me for a third day since I was there all the time and a good customer. But of course, a third days charge was on my bank statement. This is a busy location and I try to have my stuff together to make things simpler for them,so this didn't sit very well with me.Philip W.

I'm extremely disappointed that this U-haul had advertised online that you got one month free of storage if you rented a truck from them only to find out that is a lie. I only picked u-haul storage because online it stated you got one month free with a u-haul truck rental. I spoke to the gentleman that rented me my storage unit and truck about it when I returned the truck and he said "oh we're not doing that promotion anymore. There was a minor miscommunication from your end. Our U-Box container arrived in California on 11/15/2021 but my online account was showing me it would be delivered at our address on 11/25/2021. I had to call and make a request to deliver asap and it was delivered on 11/19/2021.Zalak S.
I asked to use the dumpster to throw away a couple items that I was unable to clear out due to my help coming down with COVID. I was told they have dumpsters but not for you to use & was threatened with $150.00 disposal charge. The manager had no sympathy & was very hateful. While on the phone waiting for a response about using the dumpster I heard the manager bragging about calling the police on a customer. Great location and the man that helped with the trailer was awesome. However I tried several times to get a direct phone call into location and couldn't. I also arrived 15min. early for my appointment but they were not very organized and I stood in line for 25min. for a scheduled pickup.Scott V.

I would like to recognize the GM Pam of the Indianapolis East Washington Street location for extraordinary service and effort in helping me through several issues with finding the right storage unit. I rented a 26ft. truck and upon return the gentleman was not friendly because we arrived 15 minutes prior to close. He made sure I knew he was not happy to stay a few minutes over.
