Upon arriving at this location, I cancelled my reservation, because I realized the truck I booked wasn’t gonna work for me. After patiently waiting, I finally made it to the counter to explain to the general manager that I needed a bigger truck , he then proceeded to push me off to someone that seemed to be filling in because they were short staffed at that location. She took way way way too long to gather up my contract, and when it was finally done, they couldn’t provide me a copy nor an email. After being there for an hour , here i am having to leave this property with an unknown vehicle. I was really pressing for time. Got in the truck and it was well under a 1/2 tank , but I was told it needed to be brought back on full. What kindof of sense does that make. I’d really like a little more professionalism at this location and time management.

30 minutes to rent a 5X8. Way too long. Furniture dolly that was reserved in advance was not available. Floor or trailer extremely sticky and created issues when loading. Staff at pick-up location were friendly and professional.

The people are great Truck was on empty when I picked it up…. Literally the trucks Mileage tracker said I went over 67 miles or so and I strongly believe that is not the case… that tracker is definitely rigged…. I drove to Overbrook dr and and then passed by the same exact location I picked it up at… it said 5 Miles already…. Just ridiculous… and a scam… I’m contemplating getting a lawyer … or calling the police … I’m a disabled veteran and don’t deserved to be over charged ….

The General Manager George Watson did a compatible job by answering all my questions and in addition made sure that I was well taken care. All I had rented a U Haul truck to move out of the storage into an apartment. that too was done in a compatible job.

The store manager needs to communicate to their employees. I changed my schedule to pick up the truck the day before so could get a head start on packing the truck. The truck was there but NO ONE knew where the keys were. Apparently the manager locks the keys to the truck in his office so no one would rent it out. I understand that and thank him but because of that I was late getting on the road traveling long distance out of state.

6x 12 trailer was dirty and the U Haul team member failed to hook up the trailer properly. Within 10 minutes of driving the trailer had come off the ball and slammed into the rear of my vehicle.

The signage directing where to drop equipment stated to remain with your equipment and someone will be over to help. No one showed- went in to get help.

Everyone from the manager to the other employees were nice, helpful and quick. Mr Watson also helped me out when I was going to be late to pick up, and I called and he went above and beyond so I could get the truck when I needed, even though it was my fault for being late. Really appreciate the customer service at this location.

The gas mark on My rental was not accurate. It indicated above 1/2 tank. But the gas was a way below the 1/2 tank mark. I immediately raised this concern before I left the office, but they told me not to worry, to just take a pic and when I return to let them know and they will fix it. So I left. When I came back, I told them, they told me not to worry about it. Next day I received a bill with $14 fuel charges to pay for the difference of the gas that I disputed from the beginning. So, I called customer care to help me with this. The customer care asked me to send a proof of pics before and after. I took truck at 1152am and returned 136pm. So, I sent them pics I took before driving the truck off and when I parked the truck at 1152am and 136pm respectively. The customer service told me, according to uhaul location I dropped off the unit, I dropped it off at 5pm, so my information is not consistent and therefore need more information to process my case. I have been given a run around, up to now, I still don't have much done.

This location was the "Fix" to a nightmare rental catastrophe that I won't go into but I was referred to the Arlington store from the Haltom City Store. At the Arlington store I engaged with 3 different representatives. 1st clerk (1 star) who created the contract had very little interest in getting the rental services I needed. He did manage to get a contract created but without the extra stuff that I needed & wanted. (Insurance protection etc), 2nd clerk (3 stars) had to assist 1st clerk to complete the contract and locate a truck, 3rd clerk (5 Stars) corrected all the things the 1st clerk had omitted. I left this store feeling satisfied but only because of the 3rd clerk. She made it right!!

It seems I have been over charged. I paid 155 at the time of rental. Then 61 to extend the return time from 8am to 6pm. Then at time or return there was another 190 charge. This seems excessive for a 3 day rental and less then 50 miles each way.

Not being able to access the storage units from the front entry, and having customers use the rear entrance ONLY is horrible and cruel! The facility has an entry point directly in front of my unit and I was told that it was not available for use.

Employees did not take me serious also had a verbal altercation with another customer in front of me and my kids, then laughed at the customer that she upsetted, then right after that said next “I don’t have time for people like this.” . Told her I needed to switch my pick and destination time and place. And I was still put down for return truck to location. Employees lied to other customers so they wouldn’t have to get up out of seat for dolly’s. I was half way walked my uhaul by woman with dreads the she said “what does it say on your keys?” I told her the numbers then she said “ok good you got this just go find your truck now.” Then she said “please make sure you leave a good comment about me.” I would never use this uhaul location.

Even after swiping my entry card, the alarm on my unit would go off every single time, for 2 years. I reported it several times and it was never fixed. My lock was cut off twice. The first time it was cut off I was not notified at all and only found out when I went to get Christmas decorations out and my key no longer worked. The second time, I was contacted and told someone else was claiming the unit was theirs. The lady I spoke to was the same person that cut my lock off the previous year, and said she remembered me because she liked my Christmas decorations she had seen the year before.. I told her I was at work and couldn't come right at the moment and scheduled to meet her at my until between 2:30p and 3:00p that same day. I arrived at 2:45p to find her standing at my unit with the door open. She had cut the lock off again. When i asked why she didn't wait, she said the lady who was claiming the unit was hers was standing there waiting. I told her she knew I was coming at the designated time and asked why she couldn't honor our agreement. I was again told because the other lady was already there. She tried to tell me my name wasn't associated with that unit (even thought she remembered me from cutting the lock off the prior year). I opened the app on my phone and showed her where it had my unit number. I asked how the "system" didn't have me associated with the unit but the app did. She told me her manager told her to go ahead and cut the lock and pointed him out. He stood there the entire time and let her take the heat I was giving her and never said a word. That is extremely poor management skills and I would NEVER work for someone like that, and it isn't someone I would want working for me. Other than the above described scenarios, every time I've had to go inside the store portion, there has only been one, and on the rare occasion 2, people working the counter, and most times I could see 2-3 people sitting in the office. Service was always slow and it felt like I was inconviencing the staff by shopping there. I will never rent from this particular facility again, and more than likely will never rent a storage unit from Uhaul period. This experience has been a nightmare and I am actively discouraging friends and family from ever using your storage facilities.

This storage unit is very difficult to move into. There is no access to drive inside of the building. I ended up canceling my move in at this place and chose another storage company.

I’m so disappointed in Uhaul. When I originally set up my account I had given them my military id and they had told me my properties wouldn’t be sold if I didn’t pay if I was out of the country. I had been out of the country for work and now currently in Oklahoma on deployment . I had someone reach out to me and specifically state “Oh your military your stuff won’t be sold” then I get an email THAT ALL MY EXPENSIVE STUFF WAS SOLD FOR A MERE 100.00! I’m so hurt and disappointed and would never rent from uhaul again!

The young man who assisted me with getting a bigger unit was so nice and helpful. My original unit was not clean, there were dead cockroaches inside. There were also roaches crawling on the outside of some units as well as the floor. Pest control needs to be better maintained. My larger unit was clean inside so that was a plus.

Staff seems annoyed to assist customer. Did not provide adequate information unless asked such as where we needed to go to get to the storage. Staff could not provide or set up 24 hour access due to system down. I was suppose to get first month free when I set up storage due to renting a moving truck but was still charge when I got to the counter for the storage. And as of today my 24 hour PIN code still do not work for 24 hour access nor were they ever able to set up the access card. So issue has still not been resolved. Had to use the bathroom when moving stuff in storage could not use it because code did not work of course. Just a bad experience overall with U-Haul.

The only bad review I have is that a lot of times the storage area had bad smells such as spoiled meat, or spoiled milk, and even stinky feet. Other than that, all the workers I encountered was exceptionally nice

They had the best prices around the area the only thing is units on the 2nd or top floor only had stairs no elevator. Easy to access and staff were very helpful

My experience on pioneers was not great, but I’m very pleased with my storage on Tarrant Rd. I didn’t get a storage on pioneers I cancel it they was a screwed up with the vacant available space. I never had that problem before cause they was the one I always use beside Tarrant Rd. Sorry I can’t give an reviews

The facility flooded and ruined most of my possessions including photos and important documents. They said in an email that they would clean it right after it happened. Nothing was done and a year later I was blamed for the facility flooding. I was not reimbursed in any way.
