Very bad experience. They told me they had my truck on michigan road but didn't. They rented it out to someone else. But they did find me a other truck at the Lafayette location and was given me 50 dollars towards my renter today but they didn't. They charge my card anyway. Not very happy withwhat happened today and will be calling someone higher.

You should have a late fee when someone is returning the equipment rented instead of doubling the price.

I did the VIP service online but wen I went in to grab keys I still had to wait in line behind people! Nobody asked if I was picking up keys! The guys at counter carried on conversations with people making my wait longer! When I got to counter he still was talking before he gave my keys!

I wanted 2 utality dollies that have the straps on them but they did not have any so he gave me 2 smaller dollies that worked ok too. The people took care of me and were very polite and helpful the store was clean and had many display boxes an helpful moving items things have sure changed since I had to move last 22 years ago. For the better I might add.

I was quoted 24$ plus mileage of 69 cents. I only went 13 miles to pick up one thing and got charged 47$. Im highly upset over the extra 23$ dollars. They never had any available at the location I chose which was basically a half of a mile away from my house. I would have only used 6 miles instead of 13 miles if they would have given me the location I needed. Im just so over Uhaul prices and I wont be using Uhaul again. There too many other companies that are willing to treat customers correctly to take your business.

The location staff, truck and equipment was great. I tried to use the padlock and the key would not turn. I dropped the truck off after hours and tried tried several times to no avail. I called customer service but was placed on hold forever and ended up just leaving the truck without the padlock locked.

We did mobile pick up because we wanted to get in and out and be on our way and we weren't totally sure what time we would get there. We got there and uploaded the info needed and then when we got in the truck, there were no keys in the truck, so we had to go inside to ask for key. This defeats the purpose of mobile pick up. We had ordered a furniture dolly and when we got to the apartment and opened the door, there was NO dolly to be found. This was at about 6pm. I tried to call 3 different numbers for uhaul to let them know, so we wouldn't be charged and I could not get anyone to take my call. I was on hold for so long at each number that I just had to hang up. I had to go back into the store upon return to apparently pick up a receipt so I was able to tell him about it and he took the fee off our bill. I have done mobile pick up in the past and it was super easy, this experience was not.

What a great staff working at this location! They were so crowded but managed to help everyone quickly and efficiently! Great multi-taskers! Got everyone set up and on their way! Can't say enough about how efficient and helpful they were! I hope all U-Haul locations are operated as well as this one.

Double check equipment before renting it, I understand it was raining, but you give me an appliance dolly with mud all over it, the truck had run ability problems, had a horrible exhaust leak and a bad miss in the engine, broken glass in the back and was filthy. And had a ton of miles

I don't usually folllow up with reviews and surveys such as this. Tony Murff was excellent. I wanted to make sure someone knew how awesome he was. My son and I were stressed about his big move and Tony got us rolling on a rainy day and helped us get off to a great start. I can't say enough about how well he was handling a disagreeable customer ahead of us. He was VERY professional and handled the situation perfectly. We when returned the vehicle, he made the process quick and painless. In this day of service industry employees who don't take their jobs seriously- you have a gem in him and I would be sure to keep him- as he is a good face for your company!! What you can do to improve is not take advantage of your customers taking the truck after its turned in and returning it hours later with extra mileage claiming the customer racked up the miles when they didn't. This place is horrible!

Parking area is small. Not sure whether the construction "next door" is going to serve as their new [roomier] location, but it takes a bit of extra effort to maneuver within the current lot. Good news is that after-hours self-check-in online with my phone was very helpful!

Truck was in poor condition and dirty. Dropping off Ttruck on sunday asst. manager very rude. I said I was paying cash and he had already ran the charges thru my card. This is the only location I have used for 10 years but will never used it again.

There wasn't a problem with the location...The reservation system and how the reservation was handled lead to a bad experience. I dont think I will EVER use Uhaul again. Called to reserve a 10 foot truck, they offered a 15 foot truck, ended up with a 20 foot truck. Everytime I called in to the 800 number I was faced with a 10 to 15 minute hold. They didn't have the right truck, didn't have the right equipment in the truck, drop off was a mess, and they called at 5:30 Sunday morning to ask me where the keys to the returned truck were. The keys were left in the drop box at the rear of the building. NOT HAPPY WITH UHAUL! I asked for the insurance coverage to be taken off the cotract and it was till on the contract when it was emailed to me Sunday. I called Monday...on hold for 10 to 15 minutes...called Tuesday, on hold for 30 minutes. Finally got it taken off. PS, I did get the correc number of moving blankets. Seems things are way overbooked

I was charged $30 plus $5 for them saying they put 1.5 gallons of gas which was a total lie. I will never never NEVER rent from this location again.

I was charged twice for my purchase of 610.39. This was a very big inconvenience. I still have not been able to ensure my card will refunded. I was told to contact 1800-528-0463 but have yet to receive and adequate response. How will this be resolved?

Without exception, each experience I had at this U-Haul had been superb and the crew is worth bragging about. Each worker was personable and professional which was a reflection of the management. This facility is a credit to U-Haul and a model of how a shop should be run.

Both of the customer service reps were rude and unprofessional. They stated they called me to inform of equipment cancellation, yet I had no missed call or voicemail. My equipment was cancelled due to being late for my appointment even though I paid for all of my equipment up front. Why that is even a policy is beyond me. Please provide additional customer service training to the individuals at this location and revise your policies.

Did not originally select this facility to reserve equipment . U-Haul modified contract to pick up equipment at this facility because original desired facility did not have equipment requested. Upon arrival from out of state, equipment requested was not available at the facility. This added more labor and time cost to the move.

The only problem was we tried to return it to one location and they couldn’t take it. By the time we got it to this location we were 30 mins over and we were charged for an extra day.

The staff member who processed my pickup paper work and drop off paperwork was excellent.!!!! When I dropped the truck back off I beeped the horn once to let the staff know I was back. Well that seeemed to have upset one of the staff members and he said I didn’t need to do that. Well I was simply trying to let them know I was back. Please let staff no it’s not what is said but how they say it that may offend others. I in no way thought they a simple beep of the horn would be offensive. I arranged to have the truck for 24 hours but used it for less than 7 and retinol it in except condition. The rating could have been excer except for the return experience. Thanks

I made my reservation over a week in advance. The lady messed up the time, so I didn’t get the truck I needed I was told I had to accept a smaller truck. I was not able to move everything needing moved because of this error, and I was given an unrealistic amount of time before the truck had to be back or I’d be charged $200. I feel uhaul should have found me a truck since they messed up. I think now they should give me a free truck and experience to finish the job I paid to do. I’m an extremely unhappy customer, and most likely won’t recommend uhaul now.

Attempted to get truck, because reservation was not made online I was quickly told there was nothing available. I walked out of store, Immediately got online and made reservations for 17’ truck same day, same location. Went to pick it up and they only had the largest available which in turn cost me more. Very unhappy with the laziness of staff not willing to take a moment to help me vs sending me away.
