Update the tire straps you use to hitch/tow vehicles. The equipment we received was awful - ratchets were completed rusted over and almost unusable, and the straps were too small to fit properly over basic SUV tires. We had to purchase additional equipment just to feel at all confident that my vehicle would safely make it to our destination on the auto transport. And of course your staff told us they weren’t allowed to help us install the extra equipment for liability reasons. My takeaway: uHaul uses defunct equipment in order to force customers to purchase additional items, which its staff then refuses to explain or assist with in fear the company might get sued. Your bigger concern should be fraud or corrupt business practices suits that should be brought by the attorneys general of every state where you operate.

The vehicle was not safe to drive. The brakes need a lot of work on the truck. As I hit the brakes the truck would swerve to the left. I had to fight the wheel to keep from getting in an accident. It was also leaking fluids from the engine compartment. Which left a noticable spot in the road where it had earlier been parked.

Originally reserved from uhaul on Illinois street downtown Indy.Had to go to a different pick up location after confirmed reservation, without any notification from anyone from uhaul while we were in a time crunch to hit our reserved move in time in Chicago. The worker Didn’t apologize for any inconvenience. Poor service on this end From the Illinois location. Lafayette rd was well run and helped the process.

Call center reps are nice but not helpful...Kept getting wrong info from call center which delayed my move..Very annoying.

Truck cut off in traffic and brake would not work. I almost ran in to the back of another car if I had not used emergency brake and shut truck off. The brake would not stop the truck it was traumatic. We changed trucks and that vehicle was not what we needed no ramp so we had to go all the way back to store 2nd time because they gave us a truck without one. So we got a 3rd truck and it worked fine but we were very late with our move and they did nothing to help with our experience. They acted like it was normal. Customer training is needed. 3174732225

After I check-out I waited for the a while to get my trailer set and just noticed that there is no parking light when it got dark. I don't know if really there is no park back light. so next time be sure it is all working.

I made a reservation online days in advance. My trailer was not there at pick up site that I reserved. Nobody contacted me. I arrived and had to settle for a beat up trailer with no ramp and had no choice as it was close to closing and I had a scheduled trip. Very upset.

My rental was never on my account and when I returned it needed to be done manually. Customer service assisted me with the issue but today I was charged the late fee. I called again today and talked to customer service and she sent a message to the store for them to call me and no one from the store called me back. Not happy at all.

Stop charging so much for milage. It's ridiculous that we paid over 140.00 for milage. Never again will we use Uhaul.

The guy at the desk was so disrespectful, return to get things that I left on the trailer and he did have information about them, when I told him check the system he might have a note there and he started cursing at me and said he would call the police on me to remove me from the place without my things, these gato people are not good at the front office they are scary.

Storage was ample and building was clean and nice. However, I think the bathroom could be easier to access from the inside. I found the Water fountain Spill water. Friendly staff.

The location where the trucks are kept is small and trucks get blocked in. This happened to me, and I had to get someone to come and move a truck so I could get to the one that was intended for me. Had I been reserving after hours, I would not have been able to get my truck

I was able to return the truck in a timely manner. Since I work until 3:30 pm, returning the truck by 7:00 pm was a little bit of a push. It may be helpful to extend closing hours at 7:30 pm or 8:00 pm.

The employees told me it would be open until 8 pm, before time to return the truck. I got at 7:30 snd they were gone. I had to made the deliver online, first time i do! They sould told me that when i rented the car so I would have spect that.

I had to return vehicle when store wasn't open and mileage charges were incorrect. I called store to resolve and they hung up on me. I called back and they continued to hang up on me. I had to call complaint department. I still didn't get a refund. But a voucher to use on my next visit. This is the first time I ever had trouble with uhaul. This particular store needs training in customer service skills.

I was looking for a van, settled on a 10' truck because of availability, arrived to be assigned a 15' truck, filled it ~10% with my stuff, and wondered how much gas I was wasting on my trip from Indy to Grand Rapids.

Phil did a great job but the other employees did not no what they were suppose to do the equipment they are using to ring up the customer was not working only one computer was up. Phil sent me email on what my charges was but some how I got some bogus charges and I was over charged $124.73 which need to be corrected

The location are full of crooks that are bend to swindle customers.They gave me a truck that was almost empty with paper indicating it was in quarter.of the tank. My wife ensured the tank was filled to the quarter level. I returned the truck, instead of them to check it off immediately, they did not . After i left, they send me receipt that the gas level was below quarter level. That is being a crook. nobody become successful trying to dupe others. If the extra charge is not returned, they will be met will severe judgement from God.. You can't cheat me and go free!!! watch out......

I've been a consistent customer with Uhaul for 16 years. My business frequently utilizes your services. Even with constant changeover with employees, it's difficult to establish a relationship. Your new policy of checking in my own vehicle or charging me $20 is absurd at best. Greed, ineptness with staff are the only reasons I could see you now penalizing customers! Hopefully someone that cares about your customers will read, and change this.

I had to buy an adapter for the trailer wiring, not provided. Because I can't leave without lights but the brake and turn signal lights don't work so I only had marker lights.

Explain service Ask do I want insurance Help with return Refund my money with out all the difficult things like I have call customer service everyday since I got truck and gave it back and they still keep changing things etc! Bala , Maryanne and Amy and Dan, Phillip I took names and pictures and it's still an issue with everything today !! This experience sucks and not recommanding this to noone they took $100 for nothing I never used the truck

We're supposed to have access to Inside Storage 24 hrs some occasions Im trying to get in & ALL doors were locked. One time Office was open, Worker outside & they made us wait to get inside access.
