the two young men who were working should get a raise, a promotion or whatever. they were energetic, professional, helpful. this was a thursday afternoon late, on october 15. rarely is it that i run across two youngsters who have a professional a friendly manner. improve, make sure these two are the ones who meet the customers and do the work. they were/are great.

We went in person and reserved our truck two weeks in advance, I received an e-mail telling me to check in online “to save time”. I did so. We showed up early in the morning and were told that “because they had overbooked” we would have to pick up our truck at another location. This sent us off in the wrong direction and killed time. We had reserved labor to meet us and everybody just had to wait around until we finally arrived. This was unforgivable. I will not likely use UHaul for the next part of my move.

Very smooth dropoff for my rental truck. I was very pleased with my rental experience from start to finish. The only suggestion for this location would be to enable phone contact more easily. I called to let them know I would be bringing the truck back but could not get through and could not leave a message. Other than that, no suggestions for improvement for the Greenville location.

Instruct associates on proper ways of addressing customers. The one character insisted on addressing myself and others as "buddy." Not Sir or by name, but "buddy." I had to pray to calm myself. In my pre-saved life, I would have reacted in a manner that he would remember for the rest of his life. I finally calmed myself by considering my reputation, etc. But, the straggly bearded, insolent young man is one who could diminish the reputation of this great UHAUL location.

Claude and coworker tried to send us to different location to drop off. Then proceeded to provide one space with trailers tight on either side with several empty spaces further down. The two guys stood right in front of the space and were told to get out of the way. We were able to back it in and have photos if you would like to see them.

The people were nice and took care of me quickly and professionally. The furniture dollies i ordered were not available. The truck had 130,000 miles on it and was not pleasant to drive, the steering was loose and it was all over the road. Check engine light came on and off a few times. I previously rented a 26' truck that was much easier to drive than this 17'.

The truck only had 5/8 of a tank of gas. I called the location and told them as I was leaving the parking lot and he said he would note it. I drive the truck about 25 miles and put $5 in gas in it. I was charged $45 for filling it with gas after I returned it! Also, the back of the truck was full of trash and dirt. This is my fifth rental this year and, by far, my worst.

When we picked up the van it was dirty on the inside and the gas tank wasn't full. We used the app check in process and it was slightly frustrating. We were finally able to get it done. We also returned the truck using the app and it was great. Although when I answered the question about the cleanliness of the van they were going to charge us $25 to clean when it was dirty when we picked up. I went back and changed my answer so I wouldn't be charged.

Very unprofessional. Over priced. My unit was ransacked and items like a bookcase belonging to my grandfather stolen. Due to the gate being broken for five months. Units full of mouse/rat excrement & urine. Everything stored had to be thoroughly cleaned before moving into our home, resulting in a extremely costly expense. Very difficult to move around facility due to U-haul moving trucks parked haphazardly along the sides and in the rows leading to the storage unit. I definitely do NOT recommend unless you're desperate. The storage facility I use now is locked, video cameras record each vehicle. And your time you open & close the gate until you open & close to leave is recorded. Only one vehicle can enter at a time and the units are clean. For a lot less money. Thank goodness I no longer have to use the storage facility at 529 Wade Hampton Blvd! One more thing, the largest unit they offer is 10 x 15. If you have a full 26 ft. truck you'll need two units. And that's with professional people packing each unit neatly and using every bit of space. Two units cost $289.90 every month, with vermin infested, hard to get to, no security, etc. Decide for yourself, but I won't use them again.

Although I give praise to your staff at the Wade Hampton facility in Greenville, SC, the storage room was not in the best condition. The first room I rented had fiber panels in the ceiling damage and hanging from the ceiling coming in contact with it. I complained and the staff moved me to another room. This room had rat droppings on and in my boxes. I complained and ask for the box that controlled the rats. It didn't work and later I complained again then they moved me to another room. The rats were coming from a small hole in the rear wall This was a nasty, unsanitized, and unsafe room. I moved out yesterday and I will never rent another storage area from this Uhaul. I have used them in past years and never had any problems until I rented from this facility.
