RAUL LThe employees didn’t know what they were doing, it took 4 people to find the truck, they forgot to add the dolly that had requested, and then they charged me for gas when I returned it even though I had put $10 to bring it up to over 1/4th tank which is what it had when I picked it up.
SCHIRKA PI was and still not happy with what happened I lost everything. No thank to misinformation from your staff I say to you corporate you need to figger out and put people that know what there doing and that understand the job I had so much problems with the staff that in the end I lost my thing so all I say is that I feel bad for others that are going through it with them you need to clean the house and bring a team that know there job and not just go to work to make money and not care for the clients need and being a long time client I feel the disrespect was big. that is why I'm going to make shore that no one goes to that U haul.

Yenisey GShowed up to drop off trailer, and pulled up to equipment drop area and the workers (kids) said that I had to go back to a line of vehicles and drop it in the middle of the road. Then when I did that they all just left and left me there alone never checked in my trailer or anything. Extremely rude. So I called customer service to see what I had to do next and they said I had to go use the app… which I don't have… or go online and check it in. When I dropped it off with the employees right there. The lady on the phone was extremely rude and basically told me I need to go online and do it or I will be charged extra, because the employees didn't want to do their jobs! So I sat there and had to walk around the parking lot trying to get service to get online and return the trailer in the dark in the middle of the hood of Miami (literally gunshots in the background). Poor customer service representative, poor employees. This is how you treat you customers and active duty military who have to move across the country all the time… I will be using any of your competitors when I can and I will never recommend this location. Actually will be telling the command to recommend other locations that why no others have to deal with this ridiculous experience.

Daniel SThe assistant manager was not cooperative and made false claims in which they then gave me only 2 hours to visit my storage when it was paid! Then I had a friend who said would help with the payments and then everything was removed from my account! I had no reservations listed in my email login and I only received 1 notice of an auction. Bless his heart Lenny was the only employee that was a witness and can very well verify that the staff lied and they were ganging up against him as well. I now have lost everything and I mean everything that was sentimental to me, family items, custom items, everything I worked hard for that will never be replaced all due the poor cooperation of a staff that had it out for me personally and I have no ides as to why!? Specifically, I was told some skinny blonde chick was hating and for what? No clue! She was waiting to put the lock on my storage and work alongside with the assistant manager. Lenny witnessed it all. The other ladies were pleasant, but never have I seen such behavior and I will certainly address this with headquarters and perhaps my legal advisor.

No information given about how long it would take to ship- I was told verbally that it would arrive in "about 4 days" not knowing that I had a "guaranteed by" date and that it would definitely take until that date. Also not informed about local drop off fee at booking. I was informed the monthly rental, the cost to ship but did not know there was another $950 fee to deliver from Doral to key west. I understand that is a long way to deliver but information would have been better.

ALICIA A | Overall ExperienceElevator broke and we couldn't access our lockers. Facilities old and dirty. Roofs leak in rain so items get wet while loading. Found bugs in our stuff when we got home. Staff unfriendly and not helpful. Long waits to get help in the office. And then they don't speak English. Kept getting emails saying we were delinquent in payment. I'd call to check bc we were using autopay and they told us it was an insurance mistake and we had paid. So their systems do not seem to be well managed or they're trying to scam you into paying twice. Traffic in the area is terrible if you're making frequent trips. I'd find another facility.

Alejandro P | Overall ExperienceThe facility itself was fine. Unfortunately, the U-Haul app didn't work so I had to do everything by phone or standing in line at the counter. The counter personnel were incredibly slow in regards to doing jobs. It took a long time to get the unit signed for and the person I was working with did not do a good job of explaining how to get to the unit or access it so that was frustrating. And then standing in line for 20mins just to tell the staff that I had moved out of the unit was not helpful. I hope I never have to deal with another storage unit again, especially this one. It was not a particularly pleasant experience.

NATALIA G | First ImpressionsI moved out of my unit mid-month but they wouldn't refund the prepaid rent for the unused days. Other storage units do; just not Uhaul apparently. The right thing to do is to reimburse for unused days since my unit was available for another customer once I moved out. The lease contract is contradictory because it states that it refunds prepaid rent but, in the same sentence, it says it doesn't refund for unused days.

Machines would be down so the access codes to get into the storage unit did not work-the alarm would just have to go off. Towards the end of my lease the doors just stayed open throughout the whole day. I ended my lease early because it felt unsafe to leave my things

Went back to front desk to inform and was told it should work and that the error is a system glitch but the card should work. If it doesn't work then to come back. I tried again and return again to the desk but found that the office was closed. We could not access our storage due to this issue.

When i arrived to the location they wren't able to Help me because the have not any unit left; I asked to get a u-haul unit near and they says, "we cannot do that. End of the history I move my load to other bussisnes near. As a company you should able help clients better. 1- suggest the unit using the size of the truck. 2- Search and book other location units
Agustin B | First ImpressionsAny agreement you make with them, make sure you get it in writing, it doesn't matter whom you talk to. Som messages don't always get relayed. If not, you're taking a big chance on losing your stuff to them. They will sell your stuff at auction, and come after you for the rest. If you call them the morning of the auction to make payment, they'll say you're too late, we had the auction and your stuff was sold.
BENJAMIN S | Overall ExperienceMy experience in this location was absolutely horrible. I came from a cross-country trip and was told my reservation was not available. That is the absolute worst scenario. Someone can experience being told to leave and not having anywhere to leave their storage. The phone application. Told my reservation was for the 17th but the store associates told me their system said it was for the 16th, they had no one to blame for this issue and had no sympathy for the customer and told him he being myself had to give them in the best scenario 2 to 5 days maybe to find me something obviously that was absurd. I had nowhere else to leave my things, so I did not leave until he spoke with the manager and canceled someone else's reservation , which I assume that's what they do they had to cancel someone else's reservation to accommodate for me. I only hope that person doesn't experience what I had to experience because if this is a common practice in this location that is absolutely horrible. Do you need the accommodation for me eventually was a bigger unit than what I had asked for and they're making me pay the difference in the price which I believe is unfair because I had a reservation made on my phone for the 17th and it is absolutely not my fault that their system said the reservation was for the 16th, even after I showed her what my phone said for the 16th she did not care once again I truly believe this is the absolute worst experience. Someone can deal with when moving especially cross country.
