The moving van that we were given. Shook all over the road. The wiper blades were falling apart and made it dangerous to drive through the thunder storms we hit. The ac only worked intermittently. Whe. You turned the heat on to defrost the windshield it made the van smell like dead fish. To top it off the van leaked and destroyed our Christmas decorations.

There were about 10 people waiting in line when I arrived and 1 person working the front counter with 2 in the lot. Several of us were there for trailers but even though check in was completed online, they have to process the check in again at the register. There needs to be a better way to grab and go easy items like a small trailer without waiting for 30 minutes.

The location was extremely busy and I waited in line a good 15 minutes before just finishing my mobile return and dropping the keys in the night drop box. I wanted to speak with a person to confirm everything but everyone was helping other people and it was chaos there. After an already horrible experience with my guarantees truck not being available when I picked up then getting stuck with a 26 foot truck that I couldn't even get into the location I needed to use it for... this was just an added annoyance.

Do not randomly change equipment when a specific location cannot accomodate the request. They need to call back and point me to a location that will accomodate my needs. Ie the nsb location did this to me. The port orange location gave my sisters reserved truck away after she phoned and stated she would be an hour late. Uncool!

I got the truck supposedly with a full tank of gas. I went 11 miles and had to put 5 dollars worth of gas in it and it wasn't finished filling it up. RIP OFF. I know it was only a few dollars, but poor customer treatment.

Windshield wipers were metal on metal and it was pouring rain. Tires wobbled at any speed over 30 mph. Door wouldn't shut properly. This equipment should have been retired years ago. It was unsafe!

Explain the drop off procedure a little more clearly when picking up rental. If noone is in the return area, put up a "be right back" sign or something.

I received a truck with no headlights which forced me to extend my return day an extra day because i was unable to do any moving at night. I was also charged an additional $30 for being a less than a gallon from half tank. My entire experience was rushed due to the not being able to do any moving once the sun was down. I called the 800 number and was told to refer to the local office, but the same issues were explained to them and nothing was resolved. I will never ever ever use uhaul or recommend it to anyone. This was my first experience with uhaul and it was awful. There is no sense of customer service and the workers are rude and inconsiderate! Also, one of the workers at the Daytona beach location was not wearing a mask and was in and out of the store, which could have possibly exposed me to COVID! I hope not, because in that case, i will definitely be suing. In fact, i already don't feel well. This company is deplorable and a complete rip off.
