The App could use some improvement to make it a little more intuitive. Maybe actually have a QR Code inside the vehicle that "says checking out? Scan here." Generally very good, though. I'd like to see the ability to build platforms inside the truck like commercial movers have. Especially with these cheap boxes that shouldn't be stacked more than two high, it would be great to be able to distribute the load. People hate it when they break their own stuff.

What is the point of making a reservation if it is going to take an hour to check you out? Chains were not secured by service person. Chains caused sparking on road and luckily I was waived down by another driver . I pulled over on freeway and properly secured chains which should have never disconnected from vehicle in the first place.

I had two returns here. First was after hours and the u-haul app kept crashing and freezing. Was never really able to complete. Second time, I got a quick check-in. Hard to pull in and leave as they have about half the entrance blocked from the road with equipment. Have to drive up the curb some.

The customer service I received at this location was horrible the young lady Kiera H was not very friendly she violated my privacy rights and acted as if I was a bother. There was a error on my account when I ask her what was the problem the handed me a paper with a 800 number and stated call them we can’t rent you I ask her why she stated I don’t know next in line please. After calling the number I waited a total of an hour just for the rep on the phone to say my prior rental l from June stated that I had not paid the balance, but I indeed had paid the balance. All they did was call the office confirmed and the hold was taken off of my account. The agent also told me that if she had just called that would have saved me about 45 minutes, my daughter daughter walked in to see if she could rent because we had a schedule time to pick up the items and she didn’t even ask her her name. She just asked her if she was affiliated with me and that was the case if she even knew me, she was not able to even rent to her either the young lady is being biased mind you, she said this without asking her her name nor taking her license and my opinion and she had no right to say that to my daughter and then she also told her she is not able to rent until she pays her but when I asked her what was the reason she told me she didn’t know so maybe she needs a little more training or skill set I also had an issue with returning a product after hours. I could not scan the bar kept giving me a error code and stayed on the phone another hour just to get someone online thank God I took pictures and I was able to upload the pictures showing that I had dropped the truck back off and my experience. This was the worst experience I have ever had at Rent a truck from U-Haul I don’t even believe I should’ve had to pay for this, but I did. I will probably choose to go to another company I assumed to go elsewhere for my business. Thank you.

The woman working at the counter was rude, disrespectful, and looked down on me when U-Hall had messed up a previous rental. Basically they waited over two months to check in a trailer I had rented, then when I called the number I was given, I was told that I should be grateful I didn't have to pay anything for their problem. Yet the woman behind the register continued to treat me as if I was less than her. Granted the rest of the trip was even worse, since the same employee issued me a broken truck.

1. Long line at the service counter. Reservation was for 9 AM; wasn’t able to pick it up until 945 due to long line. 2. Old, rusty 6‘ x 12‘ utility trailer that we rented had a broken weld at top corner that we did not identify until ready to load cargo. Trailer should have been either repaired or retired.

Overall the rental experience was easy. The reason I give a 4 ⭐ and not a 5 is because the pick-up process wasn't as pleasant due to the stale, dry, personality the associate portrayed. She didn't greet us coming and nor did she say anything after the pick up was done. She acted as if she didn't want to help us check in. Her attitude wasn't customer service at all. I didn't expect much, but at least some courtesy. Maybe it was the heat that had her in a dead head space because it was a bit warm in there (no ac) and no fans. My sister is visually impaired and noticed her bad attitude. The return of the rental was great! The guy was pleasant and great with customers.

First off inspection of property is key but me as a customer I’m in trusting that it’s given to me as it should return. So a piece of the gas cap was missing as I go to put gas so that I can return it back, mind u rented it for 4 hrs was back in 1, and I get charged for something that wasn’t my fault!! Never it’s unheard of

Went to pick up my rental at 8am (when it was scheduled) and I was told to wait outside for it. I waited an hour and a half for my rental in the Florida heat. I asked a few times if it was almost done and I got the answer “he’s hooking up the trailer now” every time. I will say the staff was friendly and the facility/rental was clean.

Don’t hassle me when I’m standing there and you accept the truck don’t send me a charge an hour later for a cleaning fee for a dirty cup holder. My job isn’t to detail. The back was clean the interior was normal and to do this after you took the truck back in person is unnecessary. I’ve rented from U-Haul many times. I won’t ever go to this location again. And around the drop off area they were playing radio music with all kinds of inappropriate words. Not professional

Long wait times. I had a reservation at 10:30, and didn’t get helped until 11. They were not rude to me, but were saying rude things about other customers in front of me and my son. The lot was filthy, and I picked up a screw in one of my cars tires. It looked like it hadn’t been swept in a week. I’ve spent over $1,100 at U-Haul in the last year. I will be using a different company from now on and won’t recommend U-Haul to anyone.

Despite reserving online we had to wait 45 min in line to pick up our trailer. The employee that helped us was very good and considerate while helping us check in and get our trailer hooked up. However, we would not have gotten our reserved trailer except the renter before us did not have the ability to hook up lights on their vehicle and could not rent it. Otherwise, no 6 X 12 trailer would have been available to fulfill our reservation. Uhaul you should do a better job of connecting reservations with locations that have the available equipment. We got lucky. Others in line, that were not as lucky, were sent to nearby locations by the employees at the 700 international location (after they helped them reserve the equipment). This is why the wait was so long.

Agent Jennifer not very pleasant I arrived late 10.05 for 9.30 reservation as I thought I had paid on the app and I could pick the vehicle up with the app. I tried that but kept getting error messages so I went into the store around 1015. Had to wait in line got the vehicle at 10:30 but the paperwork said 130 return I asked if that could be extended. I was told no, I wasn’t told where the vehicle was. I went outside. Vehicle was locked came back in. I was told keys were in. It went back out no keys in. It had to open it through the window hanging up asked the manager was told the manager was meeting a Brandon was right there at the car he didn’t speak up , even though he heard Jennifer say he was in a meeting for two hours spoke to Brandon on my return he indicated other people may have had reservations so the time couldn’t have been extended however, no one looked to see whether they were other reservations and extending my time was an option. It appeared. There was several cargo van sitting on the lot . I didn’t feel like the employees I dealt with good usual ambassadors Jennifer and Brandon and Tyler, who was also at the counter and backed up Jennifer on the story Brandon was in a 2 hr meeting while Brandon was standing around the counter and didn’t speak up

I had reserved a 26 foot truck online.when I got there,I was waiting for quite a while. After a very lengthy registration process, the boy that took care of me handed me the keys .I said where is the truck ? he then proceeded to walk me out amongst the hundred trucks out there, and couldn’t find it. I found out that that truck had a flat tire and I couldn’t have it so they gave me a 20 foot truck which wasn’t big enough to handle what I had to move. we had to put some of our things on another vehicle. We had moved over 30 miles away and I didn’t want to pay the excess mileage charge to go back to get the rest of my stuff. I found it hard to believe that they didn’t have another available 26 foot truck when there were so many on the lot and I should’ve taken precedence over anyone else’s reservation since I was there before them . it made no sense.. And they tried to change the amount that I was told online, plus the initial time was wrong . overall I am very unhappy with my experience and I have used U-Haul many times in the past. I don’t know what changed but I hope they change it back.

Picking up the truck was a fiasco. We were assigned a truck & trailer but for an unexplained reason they decided to switch trucks. So they hooked up the trailer to the new truck and the trailer lights wouldn't work. They determined the issue was with the truck trailer wiring. So they unhooked the truck and got a replacement truck. They hadn't provided the hand truck/dolly and moving blankets we ordered, so I had to go looking for someone to get those for us. The whole process took us over 2.5 hours - for what should have been a simple hook up a truck & trailer and go. It was a very long, frustrating and disappointing process!

There were 25 people in line when I arrived and I waited to get my 5x8 trailer for over an hour. The online app checkin was not working (several in line behind me were trying). Return was just as bad. One person at the counter and one person outside, it’s unacceptable to make your patrons wait this long. Everyone in line agreed you need a new system and this one is clearly NOT working.

The employee who I rented from was amazing However, this is for my return experience. Make sure a rental return is processed correctly. When I returned my rental I specifically told the employee I only used 20 miles out of my 80mile estimate and he said I was good and will only be charged for what I used. However I was charged for 30miles more that I used. In all my years of using a uhaul this is the first time this ever happened and all because of an employee not paying attention to their work.

Try some WD40. Add miles to get to and from U-haul Shops. You charge too much as it is. They gave me the wrong truck, which had no gas. Had to go back and get the right truck. It was a pain in butt. Charge was $5.00 over at turn in after I paid over $1,000.00,

The parking is a nightmare, about 5 spaces for customers. Facility is old/outdated, needs painted, cleaned, no lights in unit working, very bad musty smell, ceiling in unit damaged from rain, looks like it would fall in.

Lied about 24 hr access, and cost us money for a hotel due to our condo not allowing us to have a trailer on the property, so we had to get a hotel to park the uhaul trailer cause we couldn’t unload into your storage unit.

Easy process, affordable unit pricing with insurance for belongings available. Moving our stuff to storage was a simple process, although I wish Uhaul had more storage units at our Location Daytona Beach. It was a challenge to fit into the only unit left! Tetris masters, fit things in like puzzle pieces! Overall I can not complain.

I was given the truck 24 miles to go for empty. I returned it with more gas than I picked it up with. I was still charged an additional $30 for fuel. Even though I had already spent $30 on fuel. I was never given any copies of the paperwork, I had to ask. I find this to be very wrong. They said they gave me a $30 fuel credit to begin with, which I see see, but it is not reflected in the original bill or anywhere. Never again with uhaul unless I feel getting ripped off again.

The gas mileage on the rental truck was wrong, I told them before I left and they said just use the app, I’m busy. Today they charged my bank account for November payment which over draft my account. Obviously I should not have been charged since this very survey says I left. I’m beyond unhappy and would like corporate to contact me.

The only concern I had was with a ubox shipment. I had two uboxes shipped from ca to Fl. When the uboxes arrived in Fl only one could be verified as being on site. I had to wait six days before both
