I used the app to pick up and drop off the truck I rented. I did not have to see or speak to anyone. My recommendation is that as a client take the time to read and/or see the u-tube video on using the app. If you do, it will be a breeze; if you do not, you might be frustrated as some of the reviewers have commented. I rented a cargo van, so when I first got there I went inside and the whole process took about 10 minutes to verify info and the customer service girl was very friendly . I went outside to look for my cargo van and just under 2 minutes another employee assisted me in finding the van. When I returned I was so tired from moving. As I used the van only for a few hours. But returning it was so easy I drove to the equipment return area and the same person that assisted me in looking for the van assisted me. It was so easy and hassle free. He counted the mileage and then told me my price. Was told my total amount and asked would you like a printed receipt or an email. I opted for an email and that was it. Overall everyone was friendly and very professional. I used them 3 years ago when I moved and I used them again yesterday I will definitely come back and use their services again if I have to move or to recommend to a friend or even a family member. Thank you all for making a hard part of moving and making it so easy.Arturo G.

The mobile check in process was bulky. So many things that could have been taken care of ahead of time was asked of me before I could locate my vehicle. Then, the vehicle had a tire issue, so I had to go back inside to exchange keys. The new vehicle was less than half full but the paperwork said it was more than half full. And the mileage was off. Luckily, I snapped a picture of the odometer etc before leaving the property. It was clear this location was super busy, so I'm sure they did the best they could, but the process was not smooth and I was not thrilled. I was however, grateful for the ability to rent the vehicle for a few hours to move some stuff. I would go back, but I would allow more time when picking up.Allison L.

I've had my stuff in storage for almost 4 years. A rat somehow got in there, but luckily it didn't ruin anything. I had my things packed pretty good. Hopefully it didn't get into any other units. When I closed, I had a manager on site and followed all instructions. They haven't closed my contact and it's been almost 3 weeks. Figure out how to commnicate better in a crisis situation.....our Moving Help Company cancelled at the last minute....but his truck actually broke down weeks before ? There should be a requirement that the company notify UHaul; who then can notify the customer and advise. This was B.S. ...we ended up having to figure out what to do with no furniture. Made a reservation online but still had to wait in long line and only two employees working inside on a Saturday. Gentlemen inside very rude and unhappy person. Your in Hospitliaty business servicing guests always works with a smile and good attitude. Waited one hour before finally getting truck. Extremely slow outside on pick-up and drop off of truck. I cancelled online and continue getting emails to pay. I got stuck in the elevator for over 45 mins I ranged the bell many times no one came. I called front desk 3 times and told in their way. I made the reservation through the App, arriving at the place I checked in the App. In a time of pandemic, I believe that it would be enough to receive the vehicle without much contact with other people, for my surprise I had to go into the store and repeat everything I did through the app in person, that is, the checkin makes no sense, it just makes me waste time. CONCLUSION: I booked the car for 10AM but as there was a queue I could only pick up at 10:40AM.Luis A.

I'd recommend this location to a friend if it was in their neighborhood. I left my sunpass in the rented truck. The person who took care of me when I came in to pay the balance ( as my CC was stolen, on my trip and had to be cancelled) was not courteous at all. Did not show any empathy or concern in solving my issue. Stated that the truck I had returned had been rented out again, checked a lost & found box. And was so insensitive in telling me "Not here, you'll have to figure it out". figure it out? I had to cancel the sunpass I asked? Anyway we can find out the if the surpass was still in the truck ( I had the truck number on my phone). "We can't help you with that" were his words.Fatima L.

We stored items for 3 months. We intended on needing to wash all the bedding and clothing. We have unpacked and everything is odor free. The facility is cleaner than I could have ever imagined. This was an absolutely horrendous experience. I do not recommend using this location or renting Ubox containers. If I could go back in time and do it again I would not. This location is an absolute disaster including the general manager Marcia Birthwright who was rude to me, rude to my movers, and is rude to the other people that work in this location. I rented two Uboxes that were supposed to be picked up in a location close to me in Miami. The day before Uhaul called me to tell me that that location does not â€œdo Uboxesâ€ despite the fact that I had made this rental reservation several weeks prior and no one had ever mentioned anything at that time. I then needed to go to the location on Dixie highway which I knew was going to cost me more to send my movers 30 minutes south. I had also rented a trailer that will hold two Uboxes. When my movers went to pick up the boxes, they were not allowed to take both at the same time on the double trailer. Someone had inspected the truck that the movers brought and said that it was fine, however, Marsia did not let them take both you boxes at the same time again costing me extra time and money to send the movers twice to go pick up the boxes. Instead of the move taking three hours it took six hours costing me twice as much money to pay the movers. My stuff was put in storage in a completely different U-Haul space in medley which again no one had notified me off prior to making this reservation. I spoke to someone the day before I went to pick up my boxes, and they assured me that the boxes had been moved out of storage and back to the original location on S. Dixie Highway. Of course, when my movers went to pick up the boxes they were told they were not there. After several aggravating phone calls to Uhaul, they determined that one box was in the medley location and another box was in the South Dixie location about an hour apart. The movers were at the South Dixie location but they had no trailers so the movers have to go to the medley location pick up one box, drop it at my house, and then go back to the South Dixie location again doubling the moving time. Overall my move was supposed to cost me $1000 and it cost me $2100. This has been one of the most aggravating experiences and I highly recommend against ever using this location or this product.Michele S.

Made our moving day so much harder and longer. I had a confirmation for a 15' truck. This place is so unprofessional that a contract doesn't mean anything. We were told there was only a pick up truck available. U-Haul should not allow this location to be in business, it is only smearing their good name. The person who I got my unit from gave me the wrong number unit, so when I unloaded my car and brought everything up to what I thought was my unit, it was apparently not my unit. I had to unload everything back into my vehicle, go into the store and wait in line to get my correct storage unit, go back and load everything again and bring my stuff up. The only issue we had this time versus other times was that when we registered online we could not automatically get the First month free promotional. In the past every time we got the first month free when we checked in at the office. However, the management has informed us that they will adjust the payment in the following month. I pay for a truck on Sunday May 8 2021 to take out my things from two storages that I had and two guys got stuck on the elevator been there for an hour without any help until we realize nobody was helping them and went to call a worker and he said that he was going to call another coworker to come but the guys were in desperte need of air and water since the emergency bottom was not working becouse no one but one went to see them since we were there taking our stuff from the first floor so they call the fire rescue who were the only ones to come and Open the elevator. No one of the staff did anything to try to help the guys on the elevator or fix the elevator after it was open. Because of that we could not take our stuff from the 4th floor when we already had the truck paid. I need someone to tell me how to proceed on this since it's not fair that I have to pay other truck to take my things from the 4th floor. When I ask the lady at the front desk if uhual could provide me with at least a van so I could take my stuff another day when the elevator it's fixed her answer was I could use the stairs which I find nonsensical. The worst customer service from the all the employees working. Refusal to help when there was an issue that's I specifically asked about. Blatant disrespectful while speaking. Failed to mention that the gate to storage was broken and would not be able to access after hours which I specifically requested multiple times. Lied to customer multiple times.
