The rental truck smelled of cigarettes. The TPMS indicator light was flashing on and off. There was extensive cosmetic damage on the truck that did not have uhaul inspection stickers on it. I had my employee drop the truck off and the uhaul employee checking in the vehicle was ranting about "What happened to the hub cap!?!?" I'm sorry but if you did post rental vehicle inspections and had notes you would have realized someone had a flat and changed the tire out. We have a corporate account, we respect our rental vehicles, we like the last minute service uhaul can provide. I hate being nickel-and-dimed by incompetent employees who fail to realize we rent these vehicles for work! Please do not treat us like children.

Sorry UHaul, you missed the mark... again. I had a "guaranteed" reservation the day prior (Saturday). When I showed up to pick up my van, I was told there were none left. I had to go through the whole gymnastics of calling Uhaul traffic to get my $50 apology and another guaranteed booking for the following day. I showed up on Sunday, there was only one poor soul attending a line of about 10 frustrated customers - She was working through it as fast as possible, yet, it still took us at least 35 minutes to get through to her. The van we picked up had less that 1/8th of a gas tank, barely enough get me to the closest gas station. A part from all of that, everything worked out OK, we returned the van exactly on time, clean and with more gas than we started with. Overall, this was a rather poor experience from a company we've learned to expect just as much.

Rented a truck there brought it back and there was no one there to check the truck back in. I got there at 11 am they charged me until 1130am. I used 7 miles and brought truck back with required gas. I had to take the keys inside and leave them with someone. So I was charged another half hour of time I didn't use. Not good.

The app is a terrible waste of time. You still have to go inside and depend on staff to verify etc in their computers and staff required that I select “I have my key” before she would give it to me. I debated that with her and she would not oblige. The app process saves no time and gives “time out” error messages. It's a mess. It's just not worth the trouble and after using it twice at this location I will not use the app again. . Also still upset they charged me $25 last time to fold two blankets instead of telling me when they were receiving the truck. No one e we responded to my enquiries as they said the supervisor would return my call. Never did.

I have rented U-Haul‘s at least 90 to 100 times in my life. This location had the nicest staff polite and welcoming it was clean well air-conditioned the equipment was nice and when I returned my trailer she went above and beyond on friendship and personability I would certainly go back to this location again versus others in Miami. Because really I just rented one from a downtown location and the female employee was such a rude person. I will travel the extra miles just to go back to this location because the staff was so nice

We had such a horrible experience with your Miami Gardens location and this location saved us the day of our move. Additionally the day of our move our cargo trailer that we reserved suddenly wasn't available. Uhaul confirmed our reservation the night before and then when we arrived they didn't have the trailer size we needed and reserved. If it wasn't for the owner of this location -Willie we would've really been stuck. He also fixed the installation that was done wrong in Miami Gardens.

Do not ever book Movinghelp through UHaul over the phone. I had to do this twice on two seperate days and somehow my order never went through once. I ended up having to pay double the original cost after I booked moving assistance myself through Movinghelpe.com. I thought being on the phone with Uhaul about my Ubox and booking moving assistance was convenient but literally 8+ hours on the phone and multiple days on the phone, that was NOT worth it. Book through movinghelp.com yourself (still owned by Uhaul) or book through a different provider. Save your time, time is money.

The van that I rented was infested with roaches when I requested a new vehicle there were none available as it was a Saturday and I know it's a very busy moving day. The general manager was no help and the customer service agents were trying to do their best but there were no vehicles available eligible the van was so infested with roaches one of them ended up crawling on me while I was driving I have pictures and videos and have disputed this charge with my banking institution.

They forced me to pay for insurance that I said I didn't need and didn't want to pay for. But they told me that without insurance I couldn't take the pickup truck.

The staff was friendly however the gentleman that attached the trailer to my vehicle did not tighten the knob. He said I was all set and I drove off. A half mile from the facility the trailer detached and bounced along the pavement. Luckily the safety chains did their job and no other vehicles were impacted. I had to pull over into the center lane and reattach it to my hitch. That's when I realized is was not locked down properly. The wiring harness for the trailer lights was cut during the incident. I managed to splice the wires together but the left blinker/tail light would not work. I think my adapter was damaged too. I was in a hurry to get my son moved out of his apartment and didn't have time to go back to the UHaul location.

My storage room was scary. It was like the silence of the lamp type of room. Black sticky paint and the floor has holes it's perfect for rats and insects to enter. The floor is always wet cause there is water leak from the AC. That's a safety issue right there. The personnel was nice and friendly however I always felt you have guys walking around waiting for a tip! I had a one month free so I what can I expect really.

Me mudé de Houston a Miami cuando llegue al lugar de almacenamiento no tenian disponible 10×15 que era el que me avian dado por la renta del camión. Después me dieron otro en otra localidad no lo pude usar porque las escaleras del local tomaban un gran pedazo del almacenamiento tampoco tenía los pies de altura que me dijeron. First time renting from self storage and my husband's leg got trapped to the rotted wooden floor. His little finger got damaged while he tried to remove himself out from the hole. My husband had to be rushed to the hospital. At first, when I came to the office, the customer service was laughing at me and not taking me seriously while my husband was in pain. I feel it is negligence from the company for not inspecting an unit for safety before renting it out and unprofessional from the customer service from laughing while someone got an accident.

The staff were all helpful and did whatever they could to accommodate us. I had a great experience except for one detail which was not the fault of the employees at the store. When I called to reserve the storage unit I spoke to someone at the call center. This gentleman was very impatient and he kept cutting me off when I tried to speak. I explained to him that I was looking for a ground level unit because I had knee surgery and couldn't do stairs. He told me that he only had a 2nd floor unit and assured me multiple times on the call that this storage facility has an elevator and that I should be fine. That was a lie. I couldn't even change my location because there were no other spaces available at other locations. I had to carry all my belongings up 2 flights of stairs with a bad knee. I believe that this situation could have been avoided if the gentleman had a little empathy and love for his job.

My storage unit was riddled with mice and their droppings. I didn't have any food items for them to eat like i was advised, yet the were in boxes eating my books. Also, even with insurance the items are irreplaceable where i thought they would be safe packaged away. That was not the case! Label me Disappointed!

I only hope this kind of experience is only happening at that location (which is apparently not the case based on what another customer was saying while being there).
