Everyone at the Azusa ave Covina u haul were wonderful. We had to change our reservations several times because the buyers of our house had issues. We were fortunate to have ceaser. I would recommend him and the rest of the staff. They were above and beyond courteous and helpful.Veronica M.

Inez the Manager was professional and courteous. However, Cesar-employee was arrogant, rude, condescending and overall disturbing. Half the time going into the office of the storage facility no one was in there, empty while employees were outside or there would be a line and two or three employees there and only waiting on one customer. I was not a fan of an employee asking me to move the truck AFTER I already payed and closed out with the app. After I moved the truck to where they wanted, I was approached by another employee who asked me the same questions that the app did. I thought the app would to make the process faster, but it just seemed to introduce redundancies and make the rental process more complicated.Brandon S.

We used the dolly that was provided with the truck. The sign on the Dolly indicated $7.00 for in town use. My grandson and I were trying to figure out if it was a flat rate of $7.00. We assumed it was because it did not indicate it was per day. We were charged $14.00. You need to place a sign on the dolly stating it is $7.00 per day. GraciasSalvatore C.

Make check-out a streamlined process. I would like to set-up online, pickup in person, not have to show card, i.d, and confirm alternate phone number, and alternate phone in person. I have been here on 2 occasions. Both times I was greeted promptly and in a friendly manner. I was in and out in a matter of minutes. Great job . I have no problem recommending this place to anyone I know in need of this type of servicetiffany L.
This location was just fine, but it's the mobile check in that was not an easy process. And in the end, some of the things I struggled to do during the mobile check in process, I ended up doing again when I picked up my keys from the counter (I had to show my ID again after taking and retaking photos of it to send through mobile). I bet if I just dealt straight with the guys working here, it would have been a much smoother process. Some of the steps were redundant anyway.Nathan D.

I was told that for the rental of a cargo van I would have to submit a major credit card. I informed them that I was a past customer and had just rented and used their 15 foot truck a week or two before this. The counter girl said that since I have already recently rented from Uhaul that I did not need a major credit card. So I reserved the cargo van. WhennO went to pick up the cargo van, I was told I would need a major credit card. I told them because I was a recent past customer I would not need one that I could use my debit card. The girl said that the cargo vans are not Uhaul's which is why THEY are requesting a major credit card. At the end I was able to pay with my debit card, but this was a major inconvenience. I did not have a major credit card so I had to go get one from a family member. I am not a happy customer right now.ramon M.

Everything fine until I emptied my units. I had 2 units, almost $300 a month total, rent due on the 4th. I moved out of California, unfortunately June 4th only dat movers could come, was charged full rent till July 4th, including insurance on empty units, as soon as units empty they put ready to rent tags on, my daughter went to office to demand those be removed, she replaced my locks on and had to go back on June 27th to surrender units. Why the double dipping? Why insurance on empty units?? I never had problems before this, but will never use U-Haul again, no matter what. Over all a "so so" experience. I'm not happy with the fact I was prorated on my month when I signed up but when I checked out in the middle of the month I was told no prorated month! So you take money for a half month, but you don't return money if you leave early?! That's wrong. I was told you pay for a whole month should've stayed for a whole month! Several times while on auto pay my billing was subject to a penalty for being late! A mistake by management. I had to take time out of my day to go and request they fix their mistake. And again No sorry here's a little discount on the next month. The homeless situation is also a downside. Amy is the rudest person I've ever come in the business world and I've been in the business world for 45 years. She's hateful on the phone, she accuses people of things before she has the facts. And Iplan on following through with corporate office first and then perhaps maybe legal actions. Amy was very friendly and helpful when I reserved my 2 storage units. Everyone else I dealt with seemed like it was a nuisance to help me. I asked if I could pay a fee to dispose of a small nightstand. I was told the manager had to look at it on a cart so I walked back, pulled it out of the unit, and put it on a cart, and walked back to the office where I was told that they do not dispose of furniture.
