I got charged for gas even though I filled the tank back to where it was. You have to wait when you turn the truck on for it to go up. It was not even at the level indicated on the paper when I received it. The employees were joking around on their phones and couldn't care less.

Rebecca B.This experience was horrible. After a little driving, the uhaul started to slip. It started to be a harder pull and drive. After an hour of driving, I had to pull over because truck felt like it wouldn't turn. I then called for assistance after waiting for an hour, I was then informed an 2 hour wait time. Because of the distance of travel I could not wait due to time constraints. After which I struggled to drive due to performance of the truck. It seemed need more gas than needed a lot more trips to gas station than mileage and gallons so more had to be put in. I really had a horrible experience in which something should be compensated for the struggle with this overall van.

ALFRED R.This location was terrific. My complaint is with the UHaul app which apparently does not have very good interface with each UHaul location. I first tried to rent from an independent provider & the app made it seem like I could do an after hours return. Thankfully the owner of that store called to let me know that I could not. I then used the app to reserve a trailer at Copperfield Moving & Storage. Through the app, I asked if I could do an after hours return. I got an immediate text saying I could not. After realizing the unreliability of the app, I called several other places looking for 24 hour service with no luck for the equipment I needed. Just after I decided to cancel the whole project, I got a call back from Copperfield Moving & Storage to say they could accommodate an after hours return despite the message I had received from using the app. The process took up my whole morning because of all the confusion. It was no fault of the location. Everyone there was friendly & knowledgeable.

DanIel M.The place where I dropped the equipment off was not the original location that I was given for a drop off. The drop off location originally was closed because it was Sunday. However the Copperfield location was open so I drove the equipment there. When I arrived there were eight people ahead of me and it was 8:15 AM. The manager in this location was alone at the time and working the counter. He was also doing double duty by running out side to the rentals And getting them prepared for the customer. It was amazing to see him working two Check-in stations at one time And getting the rental trucks and vans for the customers. When I walked into the location I thought it was going to take quite some time but in the matter of 20 minutes this person processed everyone through. He was also very upbeat and positive. Shortly after that another employee showed up it was also very professional and helpful. This is truly an outstanding location and I would recommend it to anyone who would visit this location for all of my hauling needs.
Mark C.I had the following issues: 1. I was attempting to checkin via the app, and could not get the lock open to retrieve the key. The very nice lady manager was finally able to get the lock open after fiddling around with it for a good while. 2. The bar that allows you to adjust the seat forward and backward was jammed. The manager discovered that if you pull up exactly in the center it works. 3. After leaving, I noticed the "check engine" light was on, so I had to return to UHaul. The same very competent lady manager determined that the gas cap had not been screwed on tightly by the previous customer. She fixed if for me. 4. That night on the way home, I discovered the left headlight was out. I would only recommend to a friend because the manager was very competent. However, the overall experience was not satisfactory. Good thing I was not on a deadline.

It had errors on each of my three attempts and sent two e-mails with a receipt from a similar rental 3 years ago. On a positive note, the U-Haul location at 8330 Hwy 6 N is the best U-Haul franchise I have encoutered in many moves over the decades (I am 66). The manager at this location (Rhonda) and her employees always provide a high level of customer service, professionslism, courtesy and no hassles. It's an impressive operation!

I was told through the closed door that yes they are still open but the lock the door and shut down the system 10 minutes before closing. There was one young man that was out side that I asked if he could assist me and he tried to get the door open to the units but could not. I was grateful for him but the other guy in the actual office was complete unhelpful and rather rude. He could have at least unlocked the door to tell me their procedures.
