Truck smelled like wet dog. Had to take it back to be cleaned. The truck would not start and had to be fiddled with. After 5 min it finally started.
Michelle RKasey went above & beyond. She knew I was in a tight spot with my move & got me into a unit with little to no problem, she even found me a smaller unit when I needed to downsize. But the best service I found out about, from Kasey, was U-Haul can recommend moving help, on either end of my move. This saved me some money. And lastly, I was a bit uneasy driving the 26' truck into the storage area & when I asked if one of her guys could drive it to my unit, she gladly asked one of her guys to drive it in for me. I've used U-Haul in the past and I always recommend them to friends & family. Thanks Kasey for a great moving experience & all the help, especially with my stupid questions.

PENNEY DCustomer service is horrible here . The man behind the counter was not customer service oriented. Over charged me because I was paying cash not to mention the smell of alcohol was extreme strong at the counter . This is a horrible location worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life . Unprofessional etc. but I guess you have get what you can get these days is long as you show up that is all that matters. This guy was extremely disrespectful.

LARRY IThe Conroe location is easier to deal with other locations in Willis are trash either the lock box won't open or they try and charge you way more than the website tells you have to pay.

DEREK OCustomer service was excellent. I had 56 blankets to return after moving from AZ. The woman who answered the phone (sorry I don't remember her name) when I was looking for a return location, pulled up my info, checked for closer locations and transferred my file to their location so I could return there. When I arrived, she knew who I was and pointed me in the right direction. The gentleman outside, helped remove them from my car and was also very nice. I appreciate the good attitudes! Gracias.
JACQUELYN COne of the best experiences using a rental company. The initial retal staff in Conroe, Tx was professional and excellent. It was a quick process, the staff was friendly and efficient.

CHRISTIAN AThis was the second time I we have rented from this location in the past three months. Both times there were problems. The check-in process is not handled well here. The first time we were told to just leave the truck and you will get an email receipt, months later and multiple calls the day of check-in still no receipt, it's whatever though. Today, I refused to just leave it, I went inside and advised I needed to check-in the truck. The guy behind the counter again told me just leave the keys in it and you'll get an email receipt. I asked him no can you please come have someone check in the truck we've had problems before, he told me well the guy out there will check you in. I advise that there is no guy out there, he told me well he has other things to do too so you'll be a while. I found this attitude just rude, but went outside to wait anyway. Within the next 5 to 10 minutes the gentleman who was outside did come up and asked me for the keys for the truck, proceeded to get inside the truck started it sat there for a moment, got out of the truck showed me my email address on his phone and said this is the email I have for you you'll get a receipt here. I was done fighting at this point I was not advised of if there were any issues or not, but trusted since an actual person completed check-in you would get the receipt shortly. 45 minutes later still no receipt, I called the location spoke to a gentleman on the phone who advised you'll get the receipt in your email after checkin, I advise him we already checked in with a person who verified my email address and I still have not received the receipt. He at that point actually began to look into the problem he did something in the computer and I got a receipt sent over to me I glanced at it thanked him for his time and went on about my business. If you minutes later I actually had time to review the receipt and found that there was a fuel charge even though we had returned the truck with more fuel than it had when it was picked up. I called the location back, and the woman who answered the phone immediately placed me on hold. About 5 minutes later the gentleman who finally got the email receipt set to me picked up the call from hold, so I explained the fuel discrepancy to have. It took him maybe 2 minutes or so to investigate and he did advise that we would be receiving a refund for the fuel discrepancy. It's very frustrating when a business clearly isn't following established protocols. There is signage at the location advising you to during business hours wait there for check-in, and after business hours use the QR code to do a self-guided check-in. As we were returning within business hours I expected that there would be someone available, now I do understand that people may have multiple roles within their job functions that they are responsible for. So I have no problem that the gentleman who does check-ins was busy with something else, however the attitude of the person behind the counter was unacceptable it felt very condescending . Simply telling customers leave the keys in it it'll get checked in you'll get an email isn't acceptable, it is my opinion that discussions need to be had with customers if there is anything unexpected, especially items which may result in additional charges to the customer. I recently had a similar problem at another location where I rented a tow dolly and while personally inspecting the equipment I found a broken strap which secures the vehicle to the tow dolly. While this strapless being replaced by the gentleman on site he told me that he's been having problems with people not completing the check-ins properly, as this should have been caught on check-in. When I returned that tow dolly, The kid there simply told me to pull the trailer over here and park it, again not inspecting the equipment. What he did not know when he told me that was that we had discovered that the other strap was also about to break it had maybe a quarter of its integrity left . I had to get a bit spicy with him to convince him to go physically put eyes on this equipment. I'm losing a lot of faith in U-Haul

LANDON LI reserved 24 moving blankets to go along with he 6X12 trailer. I asked about the blankets after the trailer had been hooked up and told I was good to go. I told the man I had rented 24 moving blankets and he said he would get them but he put two bags of blankets in my truck and on arrival I found it was only a dozen blankets. Also on my arrival the young man who was working the counter was completely indifferent to his job, acted as if I was bothering him. Personnel were about as friendly as a junk yard dog.

BRADLEY EThe roof interior had fallen in and destroyed most of the contents of the unit. But they would not do anything except us to move it all out regardless. I have Severe Lung Issues. Breathing in the fallen insulation fibers made it difficult to handle for me. They would do nothing to help the situation for me. Needless to say I will never give a good recommendation for your company in the future.

If they can contact us about late rent, they can contact us about a broken gate. How is it secure if anybody can access it. I asked the front office why it open and the girl said it's only been a few weeks and sometimes they leave the gate open during business hours. It shouldn't be open at all that defeats the purpose of secure.
