Owner was super nice. The only thing that was a problem: made my reservation online and they changed my pickup location and no one told me..they say Uhaul will call the day before but they didn't. Communication was terrible ...if you don't stay on top of calling you may not have a truck!!Susan W.

The AC wasn't working and it was 92 with humidity and the head lights don't work at night. I complained about that to the guy at front desk and he replied that he doesn't have ac in his car and it sucks. I am like dude I paid for your service and I expect everything to in working condition for what I paid. Over all worst customer service and worst equipment I wouldn't go there again.Rushiraja P.

This was the worst Expereince. Started off with Uhaul Nashville renting me broken truck causing me to have tp spend money for another nite in a hotel. After getting a new truck to drive to Memphis, I was supposed to have a storage unit available to rent 3 miles from my home. When I arrived at the SHelby Drive location, I was told no unit was available and had not been available for years. Was told no units were available in Memphis and one would need to be found. One was eventually found in COollierville, over 20 miles from my home, necessiating atr least 2 hours round trip to travel, retreieve my things and rreurn home. Have spent time and gas driving there with no access to my unit bc rthe manager took days to pay my "complimentary, sorry we effed up free storage.". Just had to pay movers over $300 extra bc we needed to make two trips to recieve my things in storage. The Collierville mangaer has been rude to me. He told me I should be "grateful" for them giving me a unit. No Mr. Napolean complex. I do not have to be grateful for y'all giving me a unit 25 miles from my home and to have your white staff be rude to me at every encounter. No, sir. NOt today, Satan. I have monghs of free storage availble bc it has b=never been avialble with my truck rental. The only negative was I had to call at 6pm the day prior to pick-up to confirm our equipment and location for pick up. It worked out okay, but caused a little stress for us as we were leaving the next day. Otherwise, everything worked out as expected and our move went well.Daniel J.

I dropped off my trailer with one of the employees 27 hours before the due date, was promised the everything was set. I then received a phone call the next day saying that I never returned my trailer. Customer service helped after the original call hung up without explanation, but this whole situation has left an overall very poor impression.Alexandro F.
I had to keep the truck 1 extra day and was quoted 20 by a lady, the next person that called told me 40. When I arrived at the drop the actual price was 54 plus tax. Everyone needs to be kn the same page. 1 extra day cost 1/3 what the whole trip cost almost. I was not happyMELODY P.

Actual starting fuel level was misrepresented. My paperwork indicated that the tank was 7/8's full when I received the truck. However, the tank was actually only around 5/8's full. That mistake cost me around $20 in additional fuel cost.Oscar T.

The order for a unit that fills a 5-6 bedroom was inaccurate and the help to get a unit of the right size was not available after an 11hr trip and weeks ahead of planning. The unit available in desperado motive was a 10x15 for another price. Greed and taken advantage of movers was unprofessionally unacceptable. We had to find someone else on the spot with a unit big enough for our stuff which end up paying more. The moving process has been horrible.Yulanda K.

I reserved at a location near me. My reservation was changed twice to a location 30 minutes from me. This added about 2 hours to my total rental time. I asked the rep to give me a few extra hours due to the inconvenience. She indicated that she would advise the rental contractor. She did not. How about getting the trailer or truck to the location that the customer picks? I understand that this may be an inconvenience for your corporation, but who should incur the inconvenience? The customer? How about a rental discount for the inconvenience?Archie and April F.

The manager, Mark, always goes out of his way to accommodate customers. Except for a period where Mark was out for surgery, 99% of my interaction with his employees has been great. The website was extremely NOT USER FRIENDLY. I could not register because I must have registered before and the process of resetting my account would not work. It took a long time to get a reset code and it would not recognize it when I entered it. I tried repeatedly and never got a successful reset.Michael F.
Very nice facility. Rented a 6' x 12' trailer, which I've done before, and this trailer did not have a ramp, which was missed. People were great.Weston A.
Better communication about the trucks. I was needing it for a refrigerator mainly and was told the 10' truck could handle a 1 bedroom apartment. NO! You would be lucky to get the master bedroom in the truck. Also, a 10' truck has no ramp and this is not visibly advertised or stated anywhere. When I called for a different truck, none were available. The comment to me was, "Sorry, I have nothing for you. You had the chance to inspect the truck when you picked it up." Well, that is a little too late when I had a reservation for almost two weeks. Not to mention my reservation would not pull up in any of the apps or online serves.Kimberlee N.

they over charged me and when I attempted to call and extend my time on the truck I called 4 different times, staying on hold 40 min 1stcall, 35min 2nd, 30 or more the 3rd. The recording said go to website and extend time, well while you are moving and driving a big truck it is impossible to go online to do business. No one would answer the phone at the local store I rented from to discuss the cost of extending. when I returned the truck no one was available to help me.... So they had my credit card and charged me way to much. it is false advertising... Only 29.99 for a 15ft truck and with all the hidden fees and misrepresentation they charged my credit card double. I will dispute this charge. If you own a business you need someone willing to work and answer the customers calls in a 4 hour window and not depend on the Internet website to do business. I wasted a lot of time trying to contact the Company and would have had the truck back sooner if it were not for Uhauels poor customer service practices.JERI R.
The young man that I dropped the truck off to heard my complaints but did nothing about it just said, 'Yes they were suppose to check the drive before giving it to you and sent me on my way without taking the keys if i hadn't noticed that i still had them before I got too far away I would of woke up tomorrow with a locksmith fee on my debit car. Been using your co. for many year been happy every time in past. Pick up from Texas wonderful! Memphis drop of is worst in 30 plus years! Pulled in to a beautiful modern facility. However, after pulling into designated canopy we read on board to wait in auto and someone would be with us shortly. After waiting 25 minutes my wife went into the office. Met with two ladies and they called a man into the office who was extremely rude to all pleasant. He said to tell us to drop the trailer ourselves. My explained that we were 80 and 82 years old and did not have the strength or knowledge to so. He stormed out of office with cigaret hanging out of mouth. He looked like some bum with a hang over. he ,marched out to trailer to disengage trailer and couldn't do it.. after going back to his warehouse he marched out with a triangle apparatus and was able to get it off our car. we left very frustrated after this one hour episode.EDWARD P.

I've tried calling this location plenty of times. I moved out on September 25th. I had a contract up to 6 months due to Covid. I am a student and I was paying 34.95 a month. Now that my contract was up in July. I am still being charged for October's monthly rent. I am not pleased with this level of service. I spoke with someone in the 19th letting them know that I moved out beforehand. After looking at my move out record it says I moved out on the 19th of October which is completely false. There was only one issue, a slight glitch in the computer system allowed the young man assigning our unit and the young lady helping another customer to assign the same unit to both customers. Was a bit awkward when we drove over to the unit to discover we were both assigned the same unit. The young lady on staff however quickly found the glitch, was very apologetic, and was able to assign us a new unit. Both employees were very pleasant and helpful.Donna S. | First Impressions
I enjoyed storing my furniture and valuables at U-Haul over the Summer. I always felt safe and secure whenever dropping things off. The unit was extremely clean and free from cobwebs and other critters that you tend to see in storage facilities.
