This office needs more help! The staff was more than friendly, but there were more customers than the one agent and one mechanic could wait on. When I returned the trailer that I rented, I had to wait for a half hour to get it checked in. Two potential customers walked out while I was waiting. I had no choice but to wait. Wrongfully charged for damages to the truck i didnt do. I was even told before hand from an employee they knew about the damages and i didnt have to worry.Chris D.

The alarm system for the unit never worked properly. Even when I put the code in at the front door, the alarm for the unit would go off every time I opened it. It would shut off after about 10 seconds. I learned to just ignore it. It also seems odd that there is a sign in the lobby area that prohibits leaving trash, but the It was always full of old furniture, mattresses, etc. Inside, Maverick was very friendly and helpful each time I went into the office no matter how busy he was.Brian W. | Overall Experience

Tried to return a van at 6:50pm the location is open til 7p. It says to wait in the equip.ent and someone will be out to check it in. The man working looked out and sat back down behind the desk. There were no other customers there. I called the store and got out of the rental to walk in, he then got up and turned off the open light and locked the door. I waited until he came out to ask why he did what he did. He said he had closing paperwork to do. So paperwork is more important than the customers. The rental was not due until 12pm the next day, but after speaking with customer service I did turn it in online.Pamela S.

I guess clarity might be needed if giving someone something in lieu of their reservation. I was confused because I initially did a 1 way trip with 31 miles allowed. The 1 way trip was not available after reserving and had to be switched to a 2 way trip. I'm pretty sure I was told they would double the mileage that I received with the rental, then halve the cost of any miles after. This would have been 62 included and then .89/2 per mile thereafter. This was a phone convo with someone there. After returning the rental and reviewing the receipt, it seems I was changed to an in town move which is roughly 30 for the truck, then each mile in total was .89 each. This doesn't quite match up with what I heard on the phone as an offer to use for spending another 1.5 hours taking theie truck back. I'm also not eligible for the 50 dollar guarantee apparently so they pretty much just lure you in with that and then do whatever they want anyway. Next time someone from Uhaul can drive the 45 minutes and drop someone off to pick up their truck. Make sure you get any alternative offers in writing for clarity sake.Kimberly N.
I ended up needing the truck for an extra day. When I called it was taken care of and the extra expense was explained to me. I had to do an after hours return, in the dark. There was a spot for business hour returns, but, information like where to park the truck wasn't available. This has nothing to do with the drop off location. When I was returning the truck, I was unable to upload a picture of the mileage and fuel level as requested. This left me unable to complete the return and I was forced to accept the after hours return fee. FIX the APP.James C.

My experience was meh this time. No walk around the truck. The furniture pads were not there when I used the truck. But when they did the walk through upon return they tried telling me that I used them and that it was marked that they were there. So unfortunately cause someone didn't do their job I got charged for it. But it's ok fool me once won't get fooled again.CONSTANCE H.

The owner/manager Kelly Klink was very rude and represented u-haul very poorly. The truck that they tried to give us had a exhaust leak and was in very poor condition. Asked for new truck and got resistance and attitude. This will have to change for me to continue to use U-haul.Daniel D.

When I picked up my truck before the store was open the tire pressure light was on and the engine light was on. I couldn't adjust the drivers side mirror and both doors were hard to close. My only negative is that your computer system required me to enter all of the information only to have to do it all again when I got to the facility. Kelly was very rude. I wanted to take all my stuff out of my unit after that. It was my first experience and it was distasteful. Maybe because I am young but I show older people respect. However she had an attitude as soon as I walk in. I asked for her for her name and for the name of her supervisor. She was still giving me a hard time. Everything was great with this location. However I originally scheduled to pick up a truck in Slippery Rock and drop it off in Pleasant Hills. Found out the day I went to pick it up that there was no truck available for me and the closest location was the Chippewa location and I would also have to return it there. They claimed they called me but I never received a call, voicemail, text, or email. Very disappointing and made moving day even more stressful. This also added a lot of extra drive time and miles on the truck. Communication could've been much better.David D.

Seemed like you were putting the staff out asking questions. For people who have never rented a u-haul truck or a storage facility, it can be confusing until someone shows you how everything works. The 10' truck I rented was in terrible condition. The engine slips & I just got on the highway & had to get off an exit bc of low tire pressure. The windshield was filthy too.
