When I picked up my truck before the store was open the tire pressure light was on and the engine light was on. I couldn't adjust the drivers side mirror and both doors were hard to close. When I returned the truck I explained the problem and the answer I received was that they were aware of the 2 sensor lights being bad. So why wouldn't they have left a note explainingSamuel Z.

My only negative is that your computer system required me to enter all of the information only to have to do it all again when I got to the facility. Kelly was very rude. I wanted to take all my stuff out of my unit after that. It was my first experience and it was distasteful. Maybe because I am young but I show older people respect. However she had an attitude as soon as I walk in. I asked for her for her name and for the name of her supervisor. She was still giving me a hard time. Specially when I asked questions because this is my first time. Also, I will be making a complaint. I work customer service you don't treat people like that.Troi M.

Everything was great with this location. However I originally scheduled to pick up a truck in Slippery Rock and drop it off in Pleasant Hills. Found out the day I went to pick it up that there was no truck available for me and the closest location was the Chippewa location and I would also have to return it there. They claimed they called me but I never received a call, voicemail, text, or email. Very disappointing and made moving day even more stressful. This also added a lot of extra drive time and miles on the truck. Communication could've been much better.David D.

My whole experience with UHaul was TERRIBLE this trip. First, I booked the truck & trailer for pickup at the Monaca, PA location. I was called the day before my move to inform me that I'd have to go 20 miles in the opposite direction of the route I wanted to take to pick up my equipment. Then, these people kept calling me throughout the weekend because their system said hadn't picked up my reservation or something?? I kept missing their calls because I was, well, MOVING. I tried calling back a couple times, but they didn't pick up. I don't understand why they kept calling me instead of the location they'd moved the reservation to though, if they had questions about what was going on in their system?? The one bright spot of the move were the staff working on Friday, June 24th at the Beaver Falls location. They were all lovely - no complaints. The gentleman I encountered late afternoon on the 25th at that location was another story entirely. First, I told him 3 times that I had already checked in and paid for the auto transport - he didn't believe me, and made me sit there for almost 10 minutes as he attempted to check me in again (with the truck running & wasting gas because my cats were in the cab) until the computer system threw up an error, and he finally looks at the contract I handed him when I sat down. THEN, as we get out to the parking lot to get the transport hooked up, he tells me HE DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO DO IT. Either he was lying to get out of doing it (it was 96 degrees outside), or UHaul had someone working alone that didn't have the requisite skills to handle the reservations they had that afternoon. I ended up having to watch YouTube videos and do it myself, with no one to check my work. Because, you see, dude bailed & went back inside after attempting to hook the trailer to the truck - without saying goodbye or anything, I might add. I just turned around at one point and he was gone. I don't think I'll be using UHaul ever again - there are much cheaper competitors out there, but I've always come to UHaul for the customer service. My experience was so tragically bad and set me back so far on my moving timeline that I didn't arrive at my new location until well after 2 in the morning.Sara L.

The customer representative JesÃ© Babozza should try to think for himself with the motto the customer is always right. There was a discrepancy over fuel level and mileage usage. He would not listen to me that the fuel usage was incorrect from the actual reading and the reading on paper. He only quoted co policy instead of thinking that a truck traveling only 16 miles could not consume 12 gallons of gasoline. He insisted that the fuel be replaced. Because he would not listen and only follow your policy, I will never recommend your company or use it ever again.George H.

Seemed like you were putting the staff out asking questions. For people who have never rented a u-haul truck or a storage facility, it can be confusing until someone shows you how everything works. The 10' truck I rented was in terrible condition. The engine slips & I just got on the highway & had to get off an exit bc of low tire pressure. The windshield was filthy too. I'm very happy the office staff was still available when we moved in because for first time storage unit users the process was really confusing, especially as I requested online. I was disappointed in the size of the smallest unit that I have because it said it was big enough to store one room worth of stuff in, maybe if you were storing a bathrooms worth of stuff, but we managed to store the few things I needed to.
