The staff were excellent and I would recommend them to anybody at any time. However, my bad experience lies with the fact that I rented the unit which was a 5x6 trailer and was only given return status I could not take it one way and it cost 9 hours of travel time to bring that back I was unaware of that fact until after I had rented it not to mention I wanted an enclosed trailer and I ended up with something that was open.JOSEPH L.

My pick up location was changed without notification until day of pick up. I was told by customer service that I would get a discount on the mileage since the new location was much further away from my event. At the end of the day, credit wasn't applied and I had to pay more. Not happy about this at all. No one understood my position nor try to help with the extra mileage fees.Lakesha W.

Ms. Tina was an awesome representative for your establishment. She was courteous, prompt and very helpful for my checkin and checkout process. I visited this site many years ago and the owner was EXTREMELY RUDE! I vowed to never go back there again. I was told that the management was different and decided to give it a shot. It felt like U-Haul failed me every step of the way. Here is everything that happened in chronological order. 1-Jun-21: reserved a 20 ft U-Haul truck from location 3111 Grays Ferry Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19146, including a dolly and a furniture dolly 23-Jun-21: I received a call from a U-Haul customer service representative saying that what I reserved was no longer available, and that I had the option of a 15 ft truck and that I had to pick it up from location 1600 Highland Ave, Chester, PA 19013. I was notified two days before my move, so I had no option but to accept. I called customer service that afternoon, and the representative was rude and did not try to help at all. 25-Jun-21: I arrived to location 1600 Highland Ave, Chester, PA 19013. The 15 ft truck was available, but they did not have the dolly or the furniture dolly that I had reserved. I accepted the truck because I had no option at that point, and I had to drive to location 612 Chester Pike, Crum Lynne, PA 19022 to pick up a furniture dolly. The Crum Lynne location did not have a dolly either. While driving back, I got a flat tire, and the roadside assistance was great.ANDRES O.

The national customer service rep that I talked to, WRONGFULLY told me that the trailer I was renting was available at the pickup location. I arrive to pickup the auto transport and it was double booked to my dismay. Thankfully the local associate at the location was very helpful and made good on my reservation despite the mixup. I would highly suggest that UHaul does a much better job communicating with your local dealers/associates. There is too much competition popping in your industry to make these kind of mistakes at the inconvenience of the customer.ROBERT J.

I reserved a truck 2 days before needing it to move into my new house. When I arrived at my pickup time, i followed the instructions on my phone, which then informed me that I could no longer pickup my truck virtually, I had to wait until they opened at 9 am. This put me back an entire hour for my entire day. When someone that worked there did arrived, they saw us standing in front of the building waiting and they still proceeded to clean the trucks and put them away from the night before. When she finally did acknowledge us, she opened the door at 9:05, and was anything but friendly. When I asked her why my truck had not been ready at 8 am as promised, she informed that the person who left the night before simply decided not to stage it for pickup the following day. I received no apology, nor did she offer to do anything to make my day go any smoother. I am 7 months pregnant and had several family members all waiting to help me move. I was astonished at how unapologetic the woman working there was. I understand that everywhere is short staffed, and most people go to work frustrated, but this should be no reason to take it out on me. I don't see why you bother having a feature that allows you to do a virtual pickup, or even a feature that allows you to book a truck ahead of time, if the employees can just decide or their own accord, that they don't feel like staging the truck for you. Extremely unprofessional, I will not be going back and will suggest any of my friends and family do the same.STEPHEN H.
Had an issue with a tire on trailer I rented and called roadside service and they would have taken 4 hours to get to me. I plugged the tire and re inflated the tire. I am happy I fix tires for a living and had my kit on me and I wish I could have charge you guy $15 for the plug.JUSTIN A.

I made my reservation a month ahead of time at Wilmington DE site. On the day of my reservation, it was changed to Chester, PA. So I have to travel 30 minutes to PA which was really inconvenient. I also visited the Wilmington site a day before and confirmed the location. You really should be working on meeting reservationsClarence T.

Furniture dolly was not available as reserved. Apparently the central reservation system does not check availability at the site, as the staff said it had been several weeks since any furniture dollies were available.
