As stated in my comments about my pick-up experience, the issue over the fuel tank level came up again. First, this location had NO RECORD of me submitting the true fuel tank level when I picked up the truck (great job, U-Haul on processing and delivering the information YOU requested...NOT) Luckily, I had a picture on my phone which I showed to the U-Haul employee. Then, he wanted to argue that the tank was still a bit short. I wish I could upload the pictures because there was no way one could tell if the tank was a bit short. I told the U-Haul employee that I would just take the truck, hold it until 7am the next day (my agreed upon return time) and would then ask to speak with management. He finally agreed to accept the truck with the fuel level as is...which was the same as when I received the truck. U-Haul can be very difficult to work with sometimes. I would suggest trying other companies, if you have the ability to do so.

Edward S.I set up an online reservation for a 20', one way rental to Milwaukee, WI. I chose convenient pick-up and drop-off locations. Around 24 hours prior to my pick-up time, I was informed that the location I selected does not have 20' foot trucks and does not allow one-way truck rentals. Why does your online reservation platform allow these choices to be made knowing full well that they are not a possibility? The same thing also happened for the drop-off location, instead I was never called or informed that the drop-off location changed. Yes, the drop-off location was changed on the U-Haul contract, but the agent didn't tell me that the location changed when I went to pick up the truck, and I never thought to look. All in all, this was a horrible customer service experience, and it'll be hard to ever use U-Haul again let alone recommend it to anyone.
Madison A.The people I dealt with in Illinois were kind and helpful unlike when we went to return the truck. The woman we spoke with in Philadelphia seemed more interested in her phone than helping us return the truck. "It's really very easy. It's all in the app." is not helpful when you have just moved halfway across the country and haven't slept more than a couple of hours in four days.

Robert K.Vito needs to be fired or re-trained. He read my full name out loud each time I was in the place. That is a breach of personal data safety. I noticed he did not read the full name out of the white customers that were in line in front of me, if this is some racists form of discrimination he should be fired. If he is ignorant to the proper way to handle personal data he should be retrained. The truck he gave me initially was filthy inside and outside. I found a lot of dog hair in the passenger seat, and the coach stank.

Jodi S.Again - locations were fine. Uhaul phone and customer service experience was not. 55 minute hold times, hangups while on hold for 30 minutes, and consistent changing of my reservation truck type and pickup location was hard to navigate and required hours of phone time.
