Everyone at store was awesome and friendly and happy to use again. I know it can be very challenging to maintain equipment fleet especially when it is as large as Uhaul. The car hauler trailer had ok tires and even walked around and checked there were no issues. After arriving at location to pick up the car being transported I folded down the finder and found the driver side front tire had a section that's was bald and bubbled. Road side was called and they had an ETA of less than 90 minutes. It ended up taking around 75 minutes. Tire was swapped out and was back on the road. However all this to say had I not noticed it and the tire blew out I would have been responsible for the tire and any trailer damage. Just think a little better maintenance could be done before checking equipment out.Cole S.

When we went to rent trailer we had excellent customer service and assistance with a couple of hiccups. Upon returning trailer, the employee was very polite. We returned trailer back to where we hooked up. The employee said we were "done". We left apparently he did not complete the trailer being returned. We get a call 2 days later wanting to know when we where going to return trailer. Yes, it was all taken care of.DEBRA C.

I wish I ran into employees like this at every company I deal with. I kept running into obstacles and they kept helping me resolve them. The whole staff on duty that day worked so hard to keep the customers happy that came in. The biggest kudo they deserve is still running so effectively for hours with no power. The young lady, was so well knowledges about the inventory and processes so there was no waiting for anyone to look info up because she was already on top of it. I also used this location 3 years ago and I remember having the same experience which is why I chose this location again this time. I would recommend them to anyone!Sharee P.
The young man in the office and the young lady were very experienced and courteous and held their positions with confidence. The young man helped me, but was very confident in his position. They both knew exactly how the facility operated. These were exactly what ball business should have representing their business. The young man's name was Tamarian. Zachariah was unprofessional to me as well as the customer before me. He was unwilling to help, provided me with false information several times, deceitful. I had to contact the police to assist with something so minute. The area regional manager arrived and the entire dynamics changed. The Area regional manager was very assisting. I will be changing from this storage facility as long as he's there. All the other staff members were helpful, but he was not. It was directed toward every customer that came in the store. Was sent here instead of the original location because it lacked a truck size that I hadn't requested, so I had to go farther to get a bigger truck than I needed. The truck was ancient, headlights didn't work, and the suspension was shot. It got horrible gas mileage because I it's age and barely had enough gas to make it to the nearest station.RONNIE C.

Do not use moving services through moving help. Every piece of furniture was damaged even when I supplied moving blankets. They only put blankets on the end for the image. 100% use this location. The staff was AMAZING! Each team member was so attentive and supportive.Jaime C.

Tia went above and beyond to help me with a refund on my contract. I orginally had rented a 16 ft truck and a 5X8 trailer to move my daughter from PA. back to Texas which I did not need.Larry G.
When booking trailer, option to reserve storage was selected. Final destination location did not have any record of storage booking and was completely full with no vacant storage spaces. Not a fault on the location but definitely a fault on the system misleading me into believe storage was available on site. This impacted my move and is disappointing that you his business does not care about customers enough, to keep their system updated. Our storage unit, along with several others, was broken into a few years ago. This is supposed to be a locked and secure facility. We were not compensated for our belongings. Why would I carry insurance on a unit that I pay a ridiculous amount of money for? By the time we moved our items, we had paid close to $20,000.00 for storage fees that UHAUL couldn't be bothered to keep safe! Would I recommend the Cedar Hill facility again? Absolutely not. We rented a trailer there a year ago, and someone neglected to check it back in. When we rented another trailer 2 weeks ago, the facility argued that we had never returned it. If this is what passes for service, I wish i had known that before we trusted them with our storage. I hope others have better luck than we did with our losses.BRENT R. | Overall Experience

Upon my arrival, the employee seemed to be in file mood. He wasn't welcoming and helpful from the start but warmed up a tad later in the conversation. Additionally, I probably should have verified the gas hand prior to takeoff, anyways, I had to leave the site three times for gas as I was told that the gas STILL wasn't where it needed to be! I'd swear the hand wasn't registering correctly!!! My only satisfaction was the $10 credit provided for my troubles.Greta E.

We opened our account for a RV space in February 2022 and expected that it was being stored in a secure location with surveillance cameras, particularly focused on this area where many high-dollar vehicles are openly stored. On approximately March 23 we went to pick up the RV for a trip. As soon as it started, it was obvious there was a problem. The catalytic converter had been removed from the RV. Needing to be able to take the vehicle on a planned trip, we had to immediately get it repaired. It cost over $1400 for the repair. We talked with the office personnel who gave us the phone number for the manager. We called, but our calls were not returned. Office personnel told us that two other RVs had also been vandalized, but the U-haul facility had not filed a police report. Apparently they did file a report after several vehicles were vandalized and an investigator came to view the video, but since the cameras were either not working or not focused on the open storage area, there was nothing to see. We did file a police report and, as instructed, contacted RepWest Insurance. We explained that the cameras at the facility did not even capture the area of these vehicles for the monitoring company or were not functioning and not providing secure storage. Over the course of several weeks, we dealt with the adjuster, AndreaGomez Olea. She was quite condescending and, of course, continued to deny any liability on the part of U-Haul in spite of U-haul's failures. We finally gave up with her after her final, impertinent message, and decided at that point we would find another means of storage for our RV. U-haul promotes these facilities as secure and safe, but we certainly found in a short time that not to be true. We would not recommend anyone storing a boat, RV, truck or any other vehicle at this facility.Robert M. | Overall Experience

The price I was quoted on the phone wasn't the same price . After putting my stuff in there I come back & my key doesn't open the lock. The sign says call for after hours help yet none answered the phone. Come back the next day & explain my key isn't opening the storage. The access card kept malfunctioning, the staff was helpful and they fixed the issue over and over again, but what if it happens after hours when no-one is around? They said that they would provide me with a beeper instead, but didn't have any at the moment so they provided me with a code. I had storage since December 2017. I had a large storage and there was some water damage but UHaul too care of that with my claim. I couldn't take it all so I rented a smaller storage to keep the remainder until I could pick it up. Picked it up, no issues and checked out. It was a very positive experience for me. Having to get out of the car to swipe the access card is annoying and the limited hours the gate is open is inconvenient. I am aware that for an additional cost you can get a remote key but that's more money going out the door. I switched to another location that has a drive up keypad and unlimited entry hours. When on the phone getting a quote, I was not made aware the price did not include taxes. Only found out when I arrived at the facility after making the 20 mile trip from my home. The initial monthly phone quote of $154.95 went to $167 and some change. Not that much money on a one time deal, but will add up for our new RV that we had planned on keeping there for as long as we own it which will equate to years.
