The only issue I had was: one of my units Would not report being closed and locked when I was finished with it. I said I could not log out. When I reported this to the office they said everything was fine. And it would be fixed (twice). The real issue was that when I came back log in and removed the lock from my unit an ear piercing alarm would sound for about 3 minutes. Just grew to expect it

The computer doesn't show the Port Townsend store, which is the closest to my home. The Poulsbo location they listed doesn't take accept returns.

We had to put gas on the truck and was told if we brought it back with a1/4 of a tank we would be renibursted. Perhaps I miss understood. Feel bad for all workers and businesses. Lack of help. Employees were great.

It took 20 minutes to check in since online check in doesn't allow acknowledgment of I have read guides. Rep couldn't find my reservation despite being provided the reservation number. Truck was fine. Previous renter didn't fill tank since I bought 4 gallons and drove 36 miles.

We have no complaints about the location or the manager on duty. He was very helpful and kind. My dissatisfaction is purely with U-Haul as a company. We reserved (over the phone and with a credit card) a 10x10x10 interior unit over a month in advance of when we would need it. A day before we were to move in, a U-Haul representative called to confirm our reservation. A couple of days later when I logged into my U-Haul account to view my reservation and figure out how to access it, I noticed I had no current reservations. I could see a "past order" with the confirmation number that tied to what I thought was my existing reservation. I called the service line and waited on hold for 45 minutes. When I finally spoke with an agent, she told me that there was no record of my reservation, not even my email or my name, in the system. I was baffled. She spent another 30 minutes trying to figure out why we weren't in the system. Finally, I decided to print off all of the email confirmations that I had that would indicate we had indeed reserved a storage unit at this facility and take them to the storage location. When we arrived, the manager who was working promptly recognized the issue and let us know that there was not a 10x10x10 unit available and the best he could do was a 5x10x10. Essentially, he confirmed for us that the reservation means nothing and the units are first come first served. I would have never relied on this as a storage solution had I known we were not guaranteed the unit we reserved with our credit card. We found this to be completely unacceptable and believe U-Haul should make it much clearer to potential renters that the unit they have reserved may or may not be available to them when they need it. Again, my complaint is not with this Orchard St facility, just the company's rental policies.

I'm a do-it-yourselfer and I don't always have what I need. The U-Haul crew have always have great attitudes, and usually got want I need. (other then the beer) it's like picking up a trailer from friends place.

Yhe folks there are night / day difference from SLC MID TOWN location. I did not understand the gas tank and was charge for remaining amount of gas, but i was told that there is NO gas credit since i left the tank a 1/4 more than what i had picked up yhe truck. Other than that, the folks here are great. Gracias

Tire kept loosing pressure and had to make three additional stops for air. Cost me time and $. In addition I was way overcharged on mileage. Did a round trip of approximately 26 miles, was charged for 60.+ apparently I was supposed to take a picture of mileage before I left. I brought both issues nicely to staff. Nobody cared.

The pick up was a bit dirty and it appeared whoever used it prior had loaded gravel in the back. A couple dents one on the passenger side front bumper and one in the tailgate. I tried to report it on the online app but couldn't figure out how to do it!

VERY frustrated that the truck was not ready. I was handed keys and told to go find it. The truck did not have the additional moving items I had rented, I had to go in and ask for them to get them. They threw them in the truck but didn't close the truck, I had to do their job for them. I have rented from U-Haul many times, this was my worst experience.

It appears that U-haul is not maintaining equipment the way they use to. This was the second 26' truck and auto transport I have rented in the last eight weeks and the second time that the A/C didn't work! The vehicles front end alignment was off. I hope I never have to rent from uhaul again. My comments have nothing to do with the store that I rented from, I'm speaking to the larger company issues that I have experienced with my last two rentals.

Location is excellent and the parking was easy to manuver with a large truck and car in tow. plenty of room to back and load/unload and the carts to carry items to and from are very helpful. The people that work there, especially Shane, knowledgeable and very helpful. However, every single associate I had to deal with was GREAT!

I reserved space for my daughter's move out from college several weeks in advance of the time needed. When I arrived I was told that the space was no longer available and that they had tried to contact me, but there was no contact information on my record. I know that Uhaul has my email since I have received confirmation. They proceeded to offer me a larger unit for more money -- one for 3x as much! Additionally, the room they finally found for me was in an older building with no elevator on the 2nd floor. No thank you! Clearly there is a breakdown in the communication between Uhaul and it's franchises. Why was my contact information not shared? If it had been, I could have more easily found another spot. Since my daughter was one of the last to move out, finding another space was a scramble. The staff, while friendly were not able to assist in resolving the problem, which could have been easily resolved by offering me a short-term lease on larger space at same cost.
