Tell customers about the 15 minute rule when customer pays. Has to be off lot and you can't make changes like adding insurance once you leave the lot.. I asked to pay and come back in hour... wanted to go eat, relieve after 3 hr drive gas my car and prepare for loading. Plus after insurance info was gonna call my insurance company while at meal. Said no you pay you take off lot. I asked if I could add insurance after I called my company..she said no you have only 1st 15 minutes to add insurance. Was lucky to learn she extended my pickup time so I could do those things.Peggy C.
Terrible was to use app but didn't work then had to go inside which turn into another wait then handed keys find for yourself. Went to return at night after places said return to this location the app wouldn't let me dropped at that location waited on phone for 30 minutes to figure out. They sure charge if you don't do something but nothing when they mess up. 1 hour could of been loading and unloading wasted which anybody knows time is never on your timeJustin S.

I would first change your website! On Sunday afternoon I scheduled the installation of a hitch. I selected Monday at 9:00 AM and I also checked I would wait for the car. At 8:45 I show up only to be told the technician doesn't start until 11! Why let me schedule for 9? I had fortunately had a friend who said he would pick me up. The estimated time to complete is under two hours and it was done at 4. I should have priced hitches elsewhere.Curtis C.
In winter months, please make sure the pullout ramp is free from ice build up. The person that rented it before must have driven it on the highway creating ice build up underneath. So when I tried pulling it out, it wouldn't come out. I spent about an hour using a hammer trying to break off ice so it would roll out.Travis T.

My only complaint is they have gone up to much. I think you should have prices for half days. I picked the trailer up at 9:00 am had it back before noon and it was over $34 with insurance and tax. I need a trailer to haul my riding mower to our storage shed but probably won't do it because of the cost.Bruce Z.

So at this facility One customer service rep was very polite knew her knew her job correctly and was very happy with that but there was a gentleman there that was very nasty added something to my bill that was not supposed to be added and then when I commented on it he was very rude and then on the way out the door he looked back he was laughing I said I'm glad you think that's funny he said I wasn't laughing very unprofessional other coworkers said he was salty the day I rented it because he was the only one at the desk so for him to be nasty to customers because of that is really not not professional at all and I was really upset this morning before I went to work which was not cool I suffer from anxiety anyway. Starting odometer in the computer system was wrong by about 700 miles. Vehicle interior was not very clean. Gas at start of rental was 1/4 tank.Eric S.
The day I was supposed to pick up my truck rental. The employee didn't show up for his shift. I waited for 2 hours. I called u-haul and they redirected me to another location to pick up a truck later that day. That truck was never returned. So, that put me behind a day in moving. Called u-haul back to pick up another truck the following day. When I got there they made my reservation for the wrong day. Luckily they were able to accommodate and get me a truck right away. I made my reservation for an enclosed trailer two weeks ago for a 7 am pick up yesterday. When I arrived, my trailer wasn't there. It was available 3 hours later. Store owner would not credit me any discount for all my troubles. Really disappointed and I expect more from U-Haul. I will definitely look for alternative rental options next timeDavid K.

Reserved a 6 x 12 enclosed trailer 2 weeks before online, when i went to pick it up they said they had none. They usually call, but she was too busy. Had to rent a smaller one, all of my stuff didn't fit. Phone call would of been nice, so I could of made other arrangements.Nolan T.

I was charged a 25$ cleaning fee even though I did not leave anything for them to clean. I also got the truck at 3/8 tak of gas and when I was filling muscle memory took over and I overfill on accident before returning. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Kyle,at first meeting and signing up,I was quoted a monthly rate. It was increased 2months later to almost 50 bucks more. They said I was in the wrong storage unit!! As if I assigned myself into the unit. That unit was budgeted into my bills and I couldn't afford it,so guess what The unprofessional and illegal actions Kyle took: This general manager charged my debit card without my permission!! Several times. He got the debit card info not from me submitting it for automatic payments, but just looked at what I used in the past to make payments with. My initial intake was decent with the explanation of how the storage work. Downhill afterwards,FAR downhill and the sad part is I like the general manager,Kyle. However,Kyle showed me how he feels about his customer's experience. First, my debit card was charged without my permission. Never even discussed an automatic payment. He just went back and used an account that I used to make a payment and charged it. I told him about it and he ignored me and never apologized. That's transaction fraud and if I had done that to U-Haul I would be arrested. That's illegal and he charged me cause I was in the wrong size storage and THEY are the ones who assigned it to me. Caused me to have to pull out and now my stuff is outside somewhere. Bad moves on U-Haul.. bad. I'm disappointed because the system is great but when decided to move in , I did it with a certain budget in mind, then after a couple of months, it goes up$30+ dollars and Kyle said it was MY fault!! Excuse me but I don't assign myself the room if my choice. No apologies from anyone, no customer options , no diligence to fix and nonprofessional from the general manager. Let me tell you, the store is always a reflection of the manager. I called customer service at U-Haul and the things I was told would be done in my behalf,was a lie. There's a mistake on the key to my locker which caused a surmountable inconvenience time I had to rent the truck then for an extra day put extra miles paid for extra gas took another probably another 12 hours of my weekly schedule and then I didn't have much help kind of like it just wasn't much help the snow was not removed I did the snow removal and I expected discount I want my mileage count I want the truck count and I guess I'll pay for the gas which is quite a bit in my time which was way more than all of it together Thanks I'm not sure if I can recommend or refer. That being said I really do expect a refund on the truck rental at least but other than that the facility looks good it's convenient stuff like that but I shouldn't have to do your snow removal twice I didn't have to ask questions or I shouldn't have to sit there till 9:30 on customer service wondering why nobody will help me or why I just can't open up a customer ready locker and put my stuff in there right away instead has told I had to wait by your customer service so that took the next day which it snowed which I had to work which pushed everything behind and it cost me tell me about $500 in wages so but if you count the truck I think we'll be good and then I'll probably refer you thank youbarrett l. | First Impressions
