Could improved by not charging me a bullshit $25 cleaning fee for absolutely nothing that needed to be cleaned... nothing was said to me at drop off other than “you’re good to go.” Sarah Pickle was very friendly from customer relations, and refunded my amount. She is literally the only reason I gave a decent review.

Exact mileage wasnt used to bill, truck had sensor issues with door and tow. Basically it seems I was over charged for the use. Vs actual use mileage.

I rented a 17' truck locally to move 'stuff' from one storage shed to another. The guy asked me to 'estimate' how many miles I might put on the truck. I guessed 30, but it was just that, a guess. I questioned at the time the advanced billing on my CC showing a 30 mile charge and was told that if less they would credit my card. I recorded the miles I actually put on the truck, it was 16.8 miles, yet when the invoice was emailed to me it showed the 'mileage when turned back in' as exactly 30 miles more that what it was when I checked it out. Hmm, don't believe that practice is lawful. I will be contacting Uhaul to share with them my photos of the odometer.

Staff onsite should be QUALIFIED to do any and all work that involves U-Haul, as a given. My personal belongings were lost, recovered, delayed, misused, and disrespected. I DID NOT receive a compensation or restitution for such faults on the companies end. I hope that in the future, you perfect these faults to ensure no loss of further customers.

I am very upset with how I ordered a dolly for my heavy dresser and there wasn’t even a dolly in the truck!!! I asked the guy before I left if there was a dolly in there and he said “yes there is” and when I got to my location there was not a dolly, but these pads you lay on the ground, unbelievable. So now since I was already pressed for time move all my stuff to a different location I have to rent another van to move my dresser and move sure there’s a dolly in there this time. Now I am going to have to waste another $40 on renting a van, and get charged .69 cents per mile, AND have to fill the truck up again with gas. Very disappointed at how something simple like that can mess up your day completely and end up costing more money.

I was just surprised that their was a $20 after hour fee and i had let them know about the time i was bringing back and what day. I just wasn't informed of that fee. But all-in-all it was a good experience and i would use again. thank you

When we dropped off the truck, the attendant was rude. The fuel was at 5/8 at pickup, and 5/8 at drop off... although the proclamation was 1/2... so I got charged $32 for 8 gallons of fuel that was completely unnecessary.

I don't understand the whole take pictures of you drivers license and send them to you. You ask for identification at the time of picking up the rental, so it seems irrelevant, the time savings if any is minimal. In this day and age of identity theft, it's another opportunity for criminals to have access to your information. in my opinion it is a COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY RISK under the guise of time savings.

Clear communication is always a challenge. Told Me the cost, then charge was 20 percent higher. Drop off gave me no paper or electronic confirmation so I could “prove”’ I returned the trailer. Made me uncomfortable.

I rented as Uhaul truck for the heavily addvertised rate of $19.95, $24 + w tax to move a two bedroom apt. For 1 day. In the past i have had good experiences w this location and Uhaul in general, however this time we started moving the first day and by the second day the weather was turning a little colder and we were behind so i called the store and the person said "no problem, ive got you covered. Just dropped it off the following day. Late that night and early am our city got hit w a blizzard so hard it caused white out conditions, 18" of snow and litterally shut the city down for two days. No taxis, no busses running. No travel advised and even the interstates were shut down for several hundred miles. The truck was stranded and so were we so i called the store amd it went to the 800$ . I wxplained my situa th ion and the lady was very helpful and sympathetic. She noted my situation to the account and said Uhaul is generally very accomodating in these situations but it goes by stores location. She said to call when we were able to get ahold of someone as she coyld not get ahold of anyone at the store either. No one was signed in. Two days later when we and the public were able to move again the movers returned and finished the move . I dropped the truck off approx: 10pm five nights later and reported to the 800#. The next morning the stores manager calles to settle up the account and requests $270.11!! For 6 days. I was shocked since even $ 24.95 @ 5 days is $124.95 and I asked why it was so high. The flippant manager relays to me that i was being charged for 6 days since it was after 5pm drop off but also a $14.95 a day "damage ins. Fee"?? I said i wasnt told this at time of rental and even then it still didnt add up to $270.11!! There was NO damage to the equipment just a charge. I will be calling corporate to figure this out as i got no where w that stores manager, Kyle at the Bismarck, ND. Interstate location. Ive always used Uhaul when moving and recommended them but this has left me feeling duped and very dissapointed. Stacey H.

The best part about the storage is that it is climate controlled and has security. I also appreciated the large loading/unloading bay, large elevator, and the free to use moving carts.

I am not dissatisfied, but it is prepaid storage. I also rent out storage units for cold storage garages, I do not lock my customers out after 3 days, with out a phone call. Like this facility does.

Had great experience with a woman the two times I was there to get things from my Uboxes. The day I needed to haul my boxes 100 miles was a different story. Had very poor and rude customer service.

The only thing I don't care for is there is not a refund of any type when you are able to move mid month. We checked out on 9\10 and were told that you do not give refunds for half of the month.

The staff rating really should be a "sometimes" friendly. We leased up to 4 units for 5 years & U-haul Bismarck was a well oiled machine back when Brian was the Manager.Not the same service like then.
