The truck had terrible steering. The passenger side mirror kept swinging to the outside everytime I hit a bump in the road. I had to pull over 3 times to fix it because I could not see anything on my passenger side. I complained to the front desk and they told me I would receive a discount but I never got it.MICHELLE G.

They were superb both at pick up and drop off. Additionally, I called road service with a question and they were fast to respond and solved my problem quickly. I recommend telling your customers that the steering wheel locks and you need to jiggle it to start the car. Also let people know where the gas tank is!HILDEGARD T.

When I went to reserve the truck I asked the lady at the counter for a 1 bed truck. The day of the moving, we learned that the lady had reserved a van. When we asked about a 1 bed they told us they did not have more vehicles. She knew at the moment of the reservation that she was reserving a van, not a 1 bed truck and did not tell me. This cause us to do three trips back and forth between locations and a possible break of a mattress. This is type of customer service is unacceptable.RAMIN A.

In this location, one person should not be cleaning truck and check in customer . It's ridiculous that she was doing everything by herself and top of that still have good sense humor. Your company needs to know that it's busy at the end of the month. This my second time using this location it's always the same issue. There was rental truck that was reserved but no truck available. The access code to the building never worked. Showed up on a Sunday evening before 10pm and could not gain access. Customer service did not help how to mention the 60 min wait time to even speak with someone. Was also unable to use mobile device to return truck after hours as it would not recognize any number or email linked to rental. Staff was initially helpful and accommodating. Despite the 12 hour unexpected delay for a broken turn signal the staff was helpful and pleasant. Offered a $50 credit for the trouble but forgot to enter it in the system. Once picked up the trailer with working lights, the equipment was not set up properly. I told attendant that gas was at 3/8. She told me there was a place to put that in the equipment verification text. I went in and placed the gas at 3/8 and even included a picture showing the gas gauge. Saw contract after said 1/2. Called in and let them know what i put in verification. She said at store not to worry they saw my info and pic proving gas amount at departure. It would be updated. Where do I even begin? I was and am so impressed by the team here! My experience with them had many more touch points than would normally be the case, and with every interaction, my opinion of them continued to rise. I moved from Mississippi to NYC, and as they offered storage (which I needed for only a little less than a month) I randomly picked them as the Uhaul truck drop off location. I am so lucky I did. After a miserable cross country drive, I pulled into their location to unload and drop off the truck, just as a torrential rain storm hit. Rebecca, who I believe is the assistant manager checked me in quickly, and even moved my storage locker to one indoors so I wouldn't have to be stuck in the rain unloading, making what would have been a torturous experience tolerable. Fast forward 3 weeks…. My NYC apartment fell through requiring me to push back my move in (and move out of storage) by a few days, which meant another month of storage rent as my move in day was one day past my storage rent due date. Jasmine, who is the general manager and the person I spoke to on the phone (I was in NH) offered to wave the monthly charge which was so above and beyond gracious. And she didn't even make me have to fight for it which is what I expected to have to do. A week later I show up at the site first thing in the morning to collect another truck and move out of storage and the opportunity was ripe for catastrophe. This time, Cori (not sure what Cori's position is) greeted me under what was certainly a super stressful situation. There were tons of trucks from the night before blocking pretty much everything (including my would be truck) but Cori efficiently and quickly played what looked like a game of Tetris with the blocking ones, got my truck out and made a space for me to back up to my storage. What a superstar! Catastrophe averted! I very rarely write reviews but this whole experience with this location and their staff was so exemplary that I had to as to not give them credit for their hard work would have been a travesty. it took them a whole day for the access card to work, ended up making my move to 2 days instead of one. The entrance to the storage facility sliding doors needs to be made even to make it easier for the dolly's to roll in and out.MARJOBERTHT S. | First Impressions
Firstly, I looked online and chose this location because of its "drive-up units". Then once I'm checked in, and ready to store my items, I come to find out that I can only drive my car until the gate, then I must unload onto a dolly, and walk my things to the storage unit. While the storage unit itself was clean, it was not what I expected. Secondly, the ramp (which is the only way to get your things up to the storage) is ridiculously skinny and is nearly impossible to make a u-turn to get back down the ramp. The day of my move, the corridor light was broken and the movers had to work in darkness to move me out of 2 units. Kaitlynne was extremely helpful and attempted to fix the light but the problem appeared to be more extensive than just changing a few light bulbs. Kaitlynne informed me of the move out process, was always available, and made the process much less stressful. The actual unit itself is good. The way to access the unit is horrible. Any unit that is on the roof, must be accessed by BACKING your vehicle UP a curved road. This is very dangerous. Also if one vehicle is backed up the road, you must wait until they are done, and then you can access your unit with your vehicle. UHAUL must reconstruct this area. And if the gate sensor doesn't have anything in its view, the gate will close, and even if it hits an object it doesn't stop, it continues to close.
