My one issue was that I was expecting there to be a lock in the unit waiting for me but there was not. Other than that, instructions were clear and helpful, registration was great: quick and easy. Getting in and out was simple. The location is small so storage for the uhaul rental equipment wasn't great and created some Obstacles to navigate around but otherwise the property was fine. We had damage to most of our items through water, mold and rodent. We had to throw away half of the items that we had stored there. Rodents are through our plastic tubs and storage boxes. I had a reservation for 1200 am from the U-Haul website. I noticed the business was going to be closed at 1100pm, so I went in to chat with them (because they dont answer their phone). They said they wont be open so come back in morning around 8-9am. I did just that and they gave away my 26' truck to someone else because I didnt pick it up at 1200am. I was furious. I had to go get a 20' from another location which added another 40 miles to my rental, thus $40 more. Completely unacceptable.JACOB S.

I reserved a unit online because it said it was available. I reserved it 5 days ahead of time and when I arrived at the facility I was told the unit www not available and had to get a bigger unit that I didn't need that cost me more money. 5 days you had to call me to tell me the unit was available and no one did. Very convenient. The stuff was very professional and friendly. However, the 20ft truck we rented was pretty banged up. Also, I thank God my husband check the oil before leaving the lot. The truck was low by 2 and a half quarts. The stuff did fill it, but I am not sure who is responsible for checking these things before renting a truck out. Happy my husband checked as it could have been a really bad experience. I did let the receiving truck location in Berea know that the truck needs service!DEBORAH S.

Overall I always prefer to use this location. On this occasion, it did not go so well. We loaded up our trailer and took off like normal. We got to our destination and there was a lock on the trailer. We had to go back to the U-Haul and they said it was from a previous customer. It was extremely frustrating as we had to come back and spend more money in gas and waste more time in driving and waiting for them to cut the lock off. I always thought they were supposed to check the trailers once people dropped them off to make sure they were cleaned out and have them ready. This was clearly not the case. When I showed back up, I was honestly expecting them to be more sorry about the situation and realize how inconvenient it was with my time and money spent on gas. They didn't say much and sent me on my way. With as much business I give them, I expected something different.LUKE L.

I am going to give ' above average' because of the patient young man who waited on me after I leased the unit online. When we arrived, the unit we leased was locked with someone else's lock and blocked with a car. However, the young man at the desk apologized and said that unit should never have been listed as available (their system assigns open units) assigned me another unit & then when I decided it was too small, he changed me to a larger unit, all very patiently. Unfortunately your facility rented me a 10x20 storage unit with a leak in the roof. Now I'm out thousands of dollars for ruined furniture and household goods. I moved here in August from Arizona, and reserved a room at the facility by calling the national number. About 15 minutes or so after setting up the reservation, I had Dakota on the phone, politely and regretfully explaining that the national system hadn't synced with his facility, and he didn't have any rooms of that size available. I still remember what I said to him: "That sounds to me like a U-Haul problem, not a "me" problem, call me back when you figure it out." I remember that for two reasons: because I felt particularly clever for coming up with that on the fly, and because Dakota didn't deserve it. He did "figure it out"; he found two rooms of equivalent size, as close together as he could. He was pleasant, and sharp, and responsive that day, and every time I've had to come to the facility since. I've done a fair number of moves because I'm in the military, using U-Haul vehicles and storage regularly. Of all those interactions, Dakota stands out to me in a sea of U-Haul employees who were almost unfailingly good, he was just plain awesome. I can't tell you how much I appreciate his efforts to take care of myself and other customers, and he's an asset to your company. You're lucky to have him.ANDREW N. | Overall Experience

Actually we have not left the facility only moved to another unit. So far the Facility is in a convenient location, is accessible during hours needed, and appears secure. When I arrived there was no storage unit available for us that we had reserved. I called the day prior to coordinate us unloading due to Memorial Day the movers could assist the following day. The rep assured no issue and no charge. The next day there was no unit, staff was rude, they cancelled our unit despite our call the day prior and blamed us for the coordinating issue. There was a unit vacant after 45 minutes of phone calls to other locations. Our unit has a broken gutter directly above it.
