MICHAEL CThey never told me when I did buyout of my unit and paid the cash only deposit of 150.00 that if I didn't have everything on a truck or off the property by 7pm. Mind you it was 5pm. ,I would have worked faster and or got more help. Due to the fact it was a friend's money that I gave for cash deposit! So now my friend that was only trying to helping me out lost his money!!! That is totally unfair and I wouldn't recommend Uhaul to another soul!!! I've also got a friendship that I've got to mend and repay him while I'm unemployed at the moment!!! CHRISTOPHER OI waited for 15 min to get a cargo van because the lady couldn't find the keys and the attendant didn't know where the keys were. So my Customer Service I say have keys returned to the board.

Shantrice T | First ImpressionsUpon picking up my truck & tow; the location assigned didn't know how to hook up the tow so I had ro waste 2 hours then call uhaul customer service so she could switch my reservation to another location just so they could hook up the tow & put my personal vehicle on it. Then they forgot my dolly, halfway through my destination I had to call uhaul customer service again because the battery went dead and I was stranded for an hour after stopping for gas. Horrible entire experience and I expect a partial refund for all I endeavored.

Morris Hmy only complaint with U-HAUL was the vehicle that i used, was past worn out, the front struts were horrible, the brakes i would give a 6 out of 10. scary, as heck it was clean for an very old, well worn U-HAUL . was able to get finish with the move... vehicle is in need of overhaul... Price was very good for short term use

Nairobi in the Easton, PA location was phenomenal. Everything she said she was going to do she did.. How refreshing!! my interaction with her met all my expectations. Highly recommend this company and will be doing business with them again.

MICHAEL RI have rented from U-Haul a plethora of times and I will say that my one encounter when returning the truck really pissed me off. In my return of the truck the lady that assisted me (I think she was of Latin descent), was unwelcoming and had an attitude. As a manager for a major retailer, I believe in giving great customer service especially to cusotmers who a pleasant and that are not a problem. When we completed the process she told me that I owed $38, which I was fine with. My boyfriend pulled out two $20 bills to pay the difference and she stated your okay you do not have to pay. No it mu assumption I thought because I have a $100 deposit the $38 was coming out of that amount. Come to find out she charged my sister card without authorizing it from me or stating that she was going to be using that card. Now my sister card was on file as the night before I chat with a U-Haul representative over the phone to pay an $8.17 extension. Now I have delay with may U-Haul employees and in the 2 times I have had to pay for an overage the employee either said "would you like to use the card on file" or "how would you like to pay difference". Not ONE TIME did she ask nor say which method she was using to cover the #38. I told my sister to report that amount as fraud because I did not authorize the employee to utilize that card when you can clearly see on camera my boyfriend pulling money out of his wallet to pay for the difference. Although the one employee left a bad taste in my mouth at this location, it will not deter me from utilizing the services of U-Haul as they have always treated me as a great customer and I would continue to use their services. I will say the lady (she was of African-American descent) when picking up the truck was very pleasant, professional and courteous and I appreciate that.
SHARQUITA OThis is the worst experienced I have ever had with a uhaul. The Gm and the assistant is the most disrespectful people I have ever experience. I have had them steal from me charging my card for unauthorize charges. I have had to call haul several time about the behavior and experience of disrespect.

WILLIAM TFor the most part, the van was well-maintained and "clean." However, it was clear that previously renters had smoked in the van. It was very strong and lasting. The office staff was helpful, nice, efficient, and curtious.

DAWANDA TI had to go to 3 places before I could drop off the truck. Place where I dropped off truck was very dark. I was at Memorial drive location to rent a storage space and could not drop the truck there instead I had to drive about 5-6 miles to drop off the truck. Store person said it would cost $200.00 to drop the truck there.

Linwood PI understand that I rented at the last minute, and that the availability of 10 foot vans is low. However, their was not even a remote attempt at cleaning it. It smelled like complete a*s. Smelly foot funky. Quite disgusting actually. Again, I was in desperate need of a van, so rather than complaining (which may or may not have resulted in me getting a clean van) I took it and rolled down (yes, rolled down) the manual window crank and the breeze made it possible to drive the van to my location where I immediately sprayed it down with Lysol and started wiping it down with Clorox wipes. That helped a lot. The Windows, inside and outside were filthy. The bugs were caked on the front windshield. It took several rounds of spray and squeegee effort to get the outside clean, while the inside took some effort also. As an aside, the seats were comfortable to sit on, but absolutely tortuous to drive in, because they could not be adjusted for the height or slide back. Talk about muscle tension and stress. You REALLY need to think about re-engineering the design of these vans. I get that people abuse your vehicles and that the maintenance costs of upkeep are sometimes expensive. But the agreement that I signed made me responsible for ANY damage to the vehicle. You could at least put some manual controls under the seat to allow some movement. If it's broken after a use, you would charge the person for that damage, so I don't see how it would not be impossible to achieve that. These vans are always in high demand. Your prices are fair. your business is constant. You could do it with little if any, impact to your operating costs. The van performed as needed and I was able to complete my journey. The staff were able to answer questions and were knowledgeable.
GREGORY CI spoke to 4 people on 3 occasions and was given different information each time. The last person was a manager named Lela Ogando who never introduced herself but stood over the customer service person for 10 minutes saying nothing. Then she called him away and they both came back and I asked her who she was. She can only be described as unprofessional and condescending. She was quick to write down the local general manager put refused the information I requested. I was told I rented 4 dollies for 1 day when I actually rented 1 dolly for 4 days. I returned it on time and was going to rent the dolly again and was told since the first person made a mistake she was extending my rental at no charge. When I returned the dolly I was told I was being charged $50. I can buy a dolly for $50 which I would done had I been given the correct information. This was my first and last time doing business with U haul. I am a business owner and I would never treat a customer or an enemy the way I was treated. Especially since every mistake was made by U Haul workers.

DEBRA R | First ImpressionsMy last week there was a nightmare. I was never told that I only had 2 days past the payment due date before I was locked out of the facility. I had this storage unit for over 5 years with payments that went from $135 - $199 in those 5 years and absolutely no mercy was shown as I was just 4 (10/31) days past the due date (10/27). I was still charged $199 + a late fee even though I informed the young man I would be moving out the following day which would have been the 5th day (11/1).

RAMONA WI did not like the setup. I checked in via mobile device but I still had to go inside to get the keys, then I had to go back inside because the dolly I rented was not inside truck, then I had to go back inside because I did not get the link to check over the truck. Too much back and forth. Wasted a lot of time.

JOHN HThe location released a truck that had previous damage to one of the rims and tires and accused me of the damage. I requested before pictures that was approved before leaving the site. The location said they cannot access the photos. Additionally there is a video camera right in front of the building where the Uhaul employee drove up with the truck, but the camera wasn't reviewed to assist me. In closing I paid for the insurance offered at the site but damage report and quote was on my final receipt. I will never rent from Uhaul again due to dishonest employees.

IMANI D | Overall ExperienceI waited for 10 minutes asking for help and was told someone would "come up". A person came up and did not give me all the information I needed. I checked the 26' van and the back was locked and was not provided a key after this employee stated the vehicle had a lock included. I returned inside to find the employees I asked for assistance initially who were laughing and playing videos on their phone in the back were finally up front providing assistance after another 10 minute wait. After stating the truck was locked I was told they neeeded to unlock it and that I had to purchase my own lock. After the truck was unlocked they said the dolly was not included. They gave me a utility dolly instead of a regular dolly. Lastly, I planned my trip online with a one way to return at a specific location. I was told I could not do that and needed to return the vehicle to the exact same place. However, I decided to call the customer service number who clarified I was able to drop the vehicle off at a different location. Poor experience from unfriendly and unkowledgable staff. It felt did this all on my own.
ADAM VI asked for a newer van because it had a few extra inches that I needed for my art installation. Instead they gave me an old dirty van that reeked of cigarettes. I don't understand why they can't just disinfect the steering wheel and indicator was sticky. I don't understand why can't they just disinfect a few areas and blow out the van.

ELIZABETH M | First ImpressionsBefore reaching the location in Decatur, Georgia I called the facilities and spoke to the manager, Brock, who is very helpful understanding and gave me step-by-step. What to do in order to sign up online for early check-in. Brock was very professional with a customer first attitude. Once I arrived at the location, one of the team members(Lela) was very helpful and understanding that it was a long drive from Michigan and she made it easy to show me how to get into the secured area where the storage was and also walked over to the gate to make sure that the gate will open and close. She also checked the computer to make sure all paperwork was completed and help me to understand about the special that they had for the one month free for the storage. I would recommend this facility to all my friends and family because the team there had the customer service that we look for and any store or facility that we go to for business. And closing a few of the team members that I do not have the name was also helpful when Lela was busy with customers. Once she got freed up, she was once again customer first. I'm sure Brock who I believe is the manager has trained them coach them and facilitated the customer first with every guest that comes in next door is very important big shout out to the team at U-Haul Decatur B. Muhammad

I did return and I spoke with the young lady.Her name was Kyra She was very helpful and And professional she was able to help me get my truck checked in and she did a very good job but.Eric needs to be retrained.
