I dropped in to reserve a truck. The person who waited on me was helpful and willing to help. I showed up early the next morning and the truck was available. Upon returning I showed the person behind the counter a picture where the gas registered was not accurate when I took the truck. Was not an issue at all. I have been here several times over the past few months and it is always an easy and pleasant experience.MARK S.

Radio did not work. Upon returning there were 6 trucks lined up in the return area to the point I could not pull in to the lot. Had to park in cvs. Employee said to park on the other side of lot as it would take him to long to move the other trucks. Rented a motorcycle trailer and the trailer fell off. The guy definitely didn't put the trailer on correctly. Could've damaged my car or worse. Informed the location and they just shrugged their shoulders, didn't even say our apologies or anything. Terrible terrible serviceJohnathan B.

Terrible customer service. Truck Gas and mileage was off and in their favor. When I brought it up to guy at counter he said he couldn't fix the mileage as the truck was already dispatched. This was wrong and a lie. They charge you .40/mile over what you book. I booked a one way with drop off at different location. When I picked up the truck I was told I couldn't drop truck off to where I had booked and had to drive 20 miles further but they did not credit me with the extra mileage. The icing on the cake was when I droped the truck off I was told that I was responsible for the last persons trip and that this wasn't the truck I booked. I explained everything to the girl recieving the truck and she apologized for all the screw ups and promised to fix it so I wouldn't be charged extra. Very poor experience and I blame the guy at the Attleboro Pleasant St. Location for all of this.James C.

Carlos the GM was incredibly rude. Not friendly or helpful. Condescending tone and "matter of fact" attitude when i asked simple questions. At one point the man says "you can Google this stuff, its pretty common knowledge about Uhaul ".. I'd rather rent from anywhere else than Uhaul because of this experienceJesse G.

It took me from 650 am until 935am to get my reserved truck The process kept failing over and over and then they scanned my cc so many times it alerted my bank as fraudulent and i lost access to it for the day. The wait at uhaul cost me $350 in labor fees as my guys just stood there amd then at return it cost.me double in gas fees and now i have a promisary note to pay because of it Horrible experience. The truck was Very good, clean, comfortable, $ well maintained. However, the reservation system is a scam! I reserved a 20 foot truck on Thursday, September 24th for a pickup dat of October 3rd. Plenty of time ahead the pickup date. I received a call the day before (10/2) Telling me that there wasn't a 20 foot truck available at my pick up location (Attleboro, MA). The nearest 20 foot truck was in Newport, RI & if I still wanted what I reserved, more than a week earlier, then I would have to pick it up in Newport, RI. I live in Mansfield, MA. I requested the next size down, a 17 foot truck. None were available I was told. I was told all that U-Haul available was either a 26 footer or a 15 footer. I was forced to take the 15 footer. Everything for move from 1 place to another was happening the next day, what choice did I have. This was a typical â€œbait & switchâ€ tactic!!! I ended up having to make 2 moves rather than moving everything in 1 move. Then when I go to return the truck, the U-Haul employee has the nerve to tell me I went over my allotted mileage. I explained that I was suppose to have a larger truck, & because I didn't I had to move twice. That's where the extra mileage came in. I was also dropping it off at a location (North Attleboro, MA) that was further than where I lived which also added to the mileage overage. He couldn't have cared less. I said fine, & I paid the Extra money. I just wanted this U-Haul experience over with!!! Believe me, the next time I need to rent a truck, I'll think twice about renting from U-Haul!!!!!!Christopher D.

Truck used had a steering issue , felt like a ball joint or tie rod was frozen or gone, as the truck steering wheel stuck to the right or left depending on which way you are turning. Also the back on the back door needs to be oiled as it was almost impossible to open.Roland R.

I was unhappy because I requested a 26 â€˜ truck at the Attleboro location in advance and I was notified by text 2- days prior that they only had this truck in Pawtucket. Went to Attleboro location on 9/05/20 and made changes for a smaller truck. The next day during pick up time, I had to make another reservation, I was not registered in the system!!! ðŸ˜¤ The receptionist(young man) was rude and not to happy to be there. When giving instructions I barely understood what he was saying. All I was able to understand was â€œtruck is in the middleâ€. Don't understand why people work in these businesses if customer service is not their passion. UHAUL, needs employees who are pleasant, eager, and passionate to help others.Jesus A.

Next time They should check the vehicle with the client . There's never no one to assist you you have to wait long , they lie to you they tell you your suppose to pay a certain amount you pay it and then they go and charge your card and then try to charge you again never again and I will tell everyone not to come to this location it's by far the worse and there was a kid with no uniform behind the counter with headphones in playing on his phone not professional at all and they poorly maintain their veichles I'm getting chartered 6 times when I was told one thing never again and plus there attitude is horribleChristopher D.

Overall, an underwhelming experience. The layout of the parking lot is unfortunate. Hard to navigate if the lot is full & there are more than a couple of customers. Office staff wasn't necessarily rude to me, but they weren't exactly friendly or very helpful either. Calling this location is pointless; I've yet to have someone answer. Try another location unless this is your only option. Storage unit itself was as described, and dusty, but otherwise clean. For the price of the unit though, and the overall customer service experience I would recommend going somewhere else.Kristin F. | Overall Experience
I ordered a 15 foot truck for 10 hours out of attleboro. I got a call that said they can only do 6 hours. I said I need 10 hours. I was offered a truck for a 24 one way rental. Catch is I couldn't return the truck to the same location. So I set north attleboro as my drop off. I then got a call that said they didn't have the truck I needed. I said I needed that much space. They said they could give me a 10 foot truck and a 5 by 8 trailer. I said sure that works. Only problem with that, was that I couldn't pick it up in attleboro. I had to go to 2 different stores to pick them up. In pawtucket I got the truck, and then east providence for the trailer, adding miles to my order unnecessarily. The trailer was hard to maneuver the way I needed to, and made my job more difficult. I returned the truck to attleboro as planned after changing the dropoff from north attleboro. Only to find out the trailers drop off location was supposed to be north attleboro. So now, I'm getting harrassing calls about the trailer return supposedly for today when I returned it two days ago.Mark M.
I had an appointment on Sunday August 30th at 9am. I did get serve until almost 9:30 am. They gave the key to go get the truck myself and give me my equipments to carry to the truck and telling that the number on your key should match your truck. I walk around for minutes trying to figure out where my truck is located. The number on my key was faded I barely could read it. Then I finally found the truck, the key won't open the door. I went back inside they were having an attitude. I went backs for trying again it doesn't work, I Even tried A couple other truck doesn't work. I went back inside again after minutes one guy said give the key, he went to try it doesn't work. He was sorry I gave you the wrong key by then it's 10am. This ridiculous! Horrible! Oil the coupling nut on top of the trailer tongue. It is rusty and hard to turn. Also why do you need a second person to contact for a 4 hour trailer rental ??? I feel cheated when I pay for a FULLdays rental of $30 only to be asked when the trailer is coming back so it can be rented out again. I had the trailer for just 3 hours. Aside from that everything was fine the facility was clean and well merchandised. The attendant was courteous.ERNEST B.

The particular unit I rented looked like someone got sick in it! There was a really bad stain on the floor, though it didnt smell bad, I took it as the location and size were good. I put down plastic and then towels on the floor to protect my items. Please repaint unit 9, first floor inside the building at the Attleboro MA Pleasant St. Location!
