VERY poor customer service. Will NEVER rent from uhaul and will NEVER refer people to uhauk ever again. Had issue and not one single person would assist in rectifying it. All i was told was "sadly there is nothing we can do for you".

Felt fuel charge was unwarranted. Went 16 miles and was charged over $7.00 for 1.8 gallons of gas and I had put approx. a gallon in ($3.00 worth). Gauge did not move while driving. So if charges are to be believed the equipment got less than 6 miles a gallon.

I made reservation 21189101 about May 14 2019. I had been assured that when a reservation is made with Uhaul it was a real actual reservation and it would be honored. Turns out this is NOT true. Uhaul does NOT honor reservations. I received a call three weeks ago from Uhaul that you would NOT honor this reservation because August 30 and 31 were busy days for you and that my reservation was NOT going to be honored and I would have no truck for my wife's antique business going to one of her largest shows of the year, The Brimfield MA antique show the largest antique show in the United State. Imagine how many rented trucks will be there, but sorry Mr Freed, no truck for your reservation. I was told I would have to use a truck on the 29th or 28th instead which means a lot of expensive antiques are now sitting under tarps. This is not how a company honors a reservation. And then just to add insult to injury, when I was renting this truck on the 28th I see the note on the little credit card device at the checkout counter and it is saying how Uhaul guarantees its reservations. So it seems you guarantee your reservations 363 days a year. I guess you think 363 is pretty close to a year so I don't matter.

Have a WORKING truck available. And when the truck reserved for a customer to pick up is not working, and a substitute is provided, make sure all maintenance is completed. I was given a truck with just a quarter tank of gas and a dirty interior cab, which I cleaned that mess when I was done and I was still charged the $25.00 cleaning fee! Absolutely terrible experience. Taking my transport needs business elsewhere next time because it is very evident that U-Haul does not care.

Location and employee I dealt with were great. I did the online pickup. That process was way too slow. I expected the online process to be easier, but it took about an hour for me to go through the approval, get the keys, and get out. Why don’t you approve it when I make the booking?

Battery died and had to be jumped. I had to wait on hold to get an operator and was on hold again for road assistance. The battery died again which I was able to jump myself. ( I wasn't waiting for roadside assistance.) I used my own gas to top off the tank as I didn't want to turn off the engine. I left a note on the seat asking for a discount. (It was after-hours) I still have got a final receipt so I don't know if I got a discount.

Trying to call Uhaul is a nightmare. I have yet to receive my refund from August and credit of 5.00 for not needing the blankets and returning them. The hold time is over an hour to try to get this
