I was told I had a 30 minute grace period to rent the truck and still was charged for an extra day. It was due back at 2:20 pm and I returned it at 2:50 pm. Then later when I had the truck I noticed it had an oil leak. I had to buy oil and put it in.

The location that I had originally chose, had to cancel my order because the truck needed repairs. I had to switch a different location that was much farther away. I asked if I would be able to return it to the other location so that I could avoid having to pay more money for the mileage that would be driven. I was told that I could not, which with it being an issue that arose from you guys I believe it should be accommodated.

Nothing you guys were beyond the best place i have ever done business with from the time i realized that car didnt run. To the time i was pullin ir down the road back to ky was less then an hour. You guys are awesome in kentucky when i need one. It takes at least an hour for the call back. If im in Chicago i will request pick up with this srore like i think theys guys need a raise to be honest. Well above and beyond any uhaul service i have ever gotten. Thank you guys. For the fast and awesome service

This Uhaul location exceeded my expectations (compared to ones I have used in other cities). The staff were all very friendly and efficient. The facility itself is very clean, secure, and organized.

The customer service for after hour service from the GM was terrible and u professional . , I was denied entry to my unit for 30 mins . When I have 24 hour access . I was not apologized to and I was also hung up on . They key was very hard to use in the truck as well as if there is a issue with the steering wheel .

The manager Barry is wonderful. The staff is professional and they are there to help you with any questions you have. Truck was available on time and returning can be done in person or via mobile phone. It's an easy process with these guys. I highly recommend them!

I was informed that I would be able to drop off the equipment in Uptown but when I arrived to Uptown they turned me away. Supposedly there was a text notification of this, but I have no record of any such text. This was the fault ultimately of the Brighton Park location but there is no where for me to note that location

I got my uhaul 6 hours late. My original reservation was given away. No one was able to offer assistance or an alternative, and I was on a time crunch and unable to alter the amount of time that I had to move. I will not recommend this company to anyone else unless they are moving within the city because it is unreliable. It is not the locations fault, this is the second location (where I had to wait an additional thirty minutes due to a late customer).

I know things could happen and safety is number one in the world., what I didn’t like and I understand the company has rules and they have to follow up but what I really didn’t like was they were rushing me that I have to return the truck as soon as possible., when I call I ask them that I need it for a 24 hours and I ask them if just in case if I don’t finish could I rent it for next day I understand I will pay more they said just call. The day didn’t started good due to rain so it made it hard to me to move but I was able to finish so I call and told them I was going to finish by 5 pm and put gasoline as it was before so by 5:45pm it will be back. So they were calling me during they day but I call and told them what was going on and this could it make me have an accident by rushing and I don’t like that or anyone would accept that. I hope you could re train personal to prevent this in the future.

When I made a reservation, I waived damage protection insurance, $14. However, the final invoice got the charge back after I returned the truck. I wasn't even aware of it when the office staff tried to rush me out saying, "We will email a receipt to you." There was no explanation of the charge and I felt cheated.

While the location was clean and the staff was great, I had an aweful experience with uhaul. I was kicked off my reservation that I made back in April and forced to drive 8 miles in Chicago traffic to go pick up the uhaul. This caused lost time and frustration because the uhaul UX Design team does not know how to make error free web pages. If I am going to make a reservation change and that is going to kick me off my truck the customer should be alerted before it happens. I was trying to be a polite customer and let the location know I was going to be late and instead I lost my truck. This was aweful user flow and it needs to be addressed.

The sales or the rental person didn’t do the job right, she ask me for my name and email to the application and she put everything wrong so I have such a hard time returning the vehicle I contact customer service and the 2 person on the phone didn’t help me I ask a question about the service and the why they did everything wrong on my application and they awnser was I don’t know I ask how I can return the vehicle and they awnser was if you can’t do it over the phone You are gonna have to wait till they open the location, and if I do that they are going to charge me and other day They just suck at what they doing ...

The equipment was in fine condition. The professionalism of the Uhaul employees and wait time when picking up the vehicle left something to be desired.

Ask the customer if they want digital or human checkout, don't assume digital. Other locations are more personable in introducing customer to vehicle. While the Rep handling my reservation was friendly, he did not walk me to vehicle and inspect with me. Told me to finish check-out, outside. Then at return time, I was approached outside by an agent immediately under return canopy, whom asked me to enter the vehicle and assist her in checkout inspection. We checked signals, she opened the rear. Came to the door and stated I was all set, but she never entered the vehicle? So I exited the truck, and asked the final price and mileage confirmation, to which she replied she had to run inside and check. It was cold and rainy, so I walked inside to receive the requested information, and was greeted by a different employee asking me, "what's wrong Hun"? I replied, "No issue- would like to know if I went over the mileage and get receipt." She told me to hang on and returned outside with the other employee. I waited inside for another 4-5 minutes, while the second employee "checked out" my rental. The initial employee returned and told me I'm "all set to go.. I did not go over the mileage, and receipt will be emailed." I did not receive an email copy of my receipt, and today noticed that my bank account has a total of THREE pending charges from this rental: two charges for the same "initial" amount; and the third and latest charge pending on my account- I'm guessing is the "assumed" actual [lesser] amount. Now to spend time calling the store personally to find out why the stated charges are pending, and for a copy of my final receipt. I've used Uhaul twice this month, and will be renting another tomorrow. My 3/14 experience was not up to par, and could have been much better. Needs improvement.
