Do not over charge for mileage. On return have a representative come out and check the mileage when the vehicle is returned. Instead you send me a receipt with false mileage. The bed of the truck was full of trash and the inside front seats when I picked up the truck.Judy M.

Do not take a reservation 2 days ahead of time if you know you don't have the truck. You cost me a $35-dollar uber ride to another location 15 miles away then charged me for the mileage and I had to fill it tank. Lastly, I had to pay for returning it to my original pick-up location. Truck was blocked Dollies we're not available as per our order Waited until opening vs the original 24/7 method. U Haul did nothing except give us a $50 credit I payed $200 on late fees as a result of so many mistakes. Insurance was $28 as per manager and the goal was actually $42Emanuel D.

If a customer orders additional equipment on-line or by phone for a particular U-Haul location, then those items need to be available at that location with rental pick-up. Taking an item, such as a dolly, off of the rental because the location doesn't have one available, does not help the customer and leaves them with a more difficult moving experience. If equipment is available when ordered, then it needs to be available at rental pick-up.JOHNATHON S.

I went in the morning -the door and store was open and walked in and out of the store front area at least 5-6 times (I could've done whatever I wanted and there wasn't anyone there-no bell or anything to get their attention) and there was no one there because all the employees were outside smoking (3-4 of them). Once I was able to get help he proceeded to tell me that the two hand trucks I had reserved were unavailable and didn't offer any help or other options-I ended up on the phone with your call center for about an hour before I gave up and had to do my move with no hand trucks and terrible service.JACQUELINE M.

I requested and paid for a hand dolly but when I arrived back to my home to load, there was not one in the truck. Customer service sucked!! They were super slow and lady working there was clueless. She didn't know how to rent out uhauls so she just stood around for awhile then went to clean bathrooms. It took us 30 mins to get our uhaul when we had a pickup time 30 mins prior. WE NEVER have a good experience at this location. Sadly this is the closest one to us....Robert G.

I was very unhappy with the Altamonte location, it was very unorganized and 2 gentleman that were working we're checking in a lot of trucks and the truck that I got wasn't checked in yet so he had to go check it in to give to me and it was very dirty on the Inside. The cup holders had sticky nasty stuff all inside them. The steering wheel was the same way. I had to clean the truck when I got home so I could use it, with Covid being spread so rapidly the truck should have been cleaned and sanitized between each use! It was completely unacceptable!Shannon Y.
When renting the truck it was very dirty, I was shocked because the guy said he cleaned it and just taking a look you can tell it was obviously not cleaned at all. He came out to wipe down more but I was honestly not satisfied and was not going to wait for another truck being that the location was busy so instead I cleaned the entire truck myself before using it. I was told it had been sanitized but again this could not have been the case at all, as it was literally just disgusting. I returned the truck back with more gas and took time to actually sanitize the truck with Lysol so going forward it's entirely more clean than it was given to myself. Now I know I can't trust the sanitization of the vehicles.LATWIAN F.

When I called about leaving the truck on site, so that I could use my car the employee(s) I spoke with as well as the manager were very unaccommodating. At first the employee suggested leaving it in quote â€œthe dark alley behind the storeâ€. I explained I would prefer to leave it on site, due to the surveillance cameras and my entire apartment being stored inside the truck to which they told me â€œthat's not allowedâ€, even though I worked at U-Haul for several years and let several customers do just that! Other than the truck storage issues everything else was average. The employees I purchased boxes from were incredible though!Nicholas R.
