Using the app the avoid having to go to the counter was tedious, and I still had to go inside and wait in line to get the keys and find someone to load the carts and blankets, so what was the purpose? Maybe someone could preload rented equipment in advance? And keys could be accessed via a code? Drop off was helpful though because we we’re able to return after hours.

I entered all my information including credit card numbers on line but for some reason it did not go through so I had to go inside the building. If it wasn’t for that, I have no complaints and the process was easy

Although I went online to order my truck it told me to get there 10 minutes prior I was there about a half hour earlier and it was already aligned with 10 people in it in which they're only letting one person in at a time. I understand about social distancing and no premise behind it but wish there was a separate line for people who just needed to run in and grab a key otherwise you're waiting in the line for a while which kind of defeats the purpose. Overall my truck was clean Joe nicely people were very friendly and I was very happy with getting that move done and just dropping the truck off

I rented a storage unit two days ago - squarely during the Covid-19 crisis and it did not appear that employees or the store were following NY state recommendations. There was no information about increased disinfecting protocols (and it looked like there were none in place - floor was dirty, there was a latex glove on the floor of the elevator (yuk)), employees seemed unaware of the need to use hand sanitizer before and after interacting with customers, and there were no signs letting people know they need to keep 6 feet distance. Customers stood on line as usual and the air system near the counter blew hvac air in our faces. People stood close in the elevators that rode to storage units. Covid-19 is spread by air and surfaces. The Broadway Albany Uhaul needs to up its game to keep its staff and customers safe. It seems well behind the curve compared with the communications from and protocols put into action by other large companies. Please take this virus seriously and protect your employees, your customers - your business! What steps will you take to make employees and customers safe? I would like to hear about it as currently I do not think the storage building I've rented from feels like a safe place.

The cab smelled of some kind of wierd drugs. Not clean. Forced to take cell phone pics of everything. What a crock, my cell phone doesn't take pics. Charges you 20$ bc I didn't know the end procedure. I will use a different truck campany.

Consider improvement of system wide computer system speed. System was slow for U Haul person to work through the paper work. Person helping was extremely helpful even though he was hampered via the computer system.

The mobile check in was an absolute disaster. Still had to go in and spend time on a busy Saturday morning. I was also inconvenienced further because I had to go in and pay because the check in wouldn’t allow the guy outside to complete the transaction. Check received 2 stars and that’s only because the customer service was great!

I was told to go outside to find the truck. I had to look for the truck with no assistance. The worker outside was driving around in circles and then came over to me with the wrong dolly. He then went and got the right dolly and told me to take the cardboard out of the window and pull the truck up so he can put the dolly in the back. When I returned, I was told that I will have my receipt emailed to me without an offer to get a receipt until I asked. I also was told by the man outside that I will be billed $169. I had the truck for a few hours and brought it back with the same amount of gas without any damages...ugh. It wasn't until I went inside and asked for a supervisor that I received the correct amount to be billed. After leaving, I'm now seeing multiple charges on my bill instead of one charge.

I rented an rv 6x12 trailer. It was to one of many in the lot, but the only one blocked by another trailer. It was an ordeal to get it moved, and another worker gave us another, quickly.

When you rent out a vehicle make sure it is full of gas and expect it full when it returns.not the way you guys do it now I don’t know the gas mileage it gets so I put to much in it bring it back with more than when I bring it back and you won’t reimburse me that’s bullshit never again!!!!!

The trailer we rented strapped was broken on passanger side, and made it hard to strap down the vehicle and it was covered in snow and ice and it hadn't snowed for 3 days. It took me a while to get it to where it wasn't a hazard to drive on the road

The storage area is sooo hot! Get a fan or air conditioner. Also, why don't they clip locks?! I had to pay over 100 USD to get my lock clipped by an outside locksmith. Why don't you offer that?
