Trailer was great and had no problems. Staff at the initial pickup and dropoff was excellent as well. The problem is that Uhaul double charged me. I dropped the trailer off before it was due. Uhaul sent me a receipt confirming that I dropped it off. Then Uhaul charged me again two days later for the same rental. When I called and asked for a refund, Uhaul shorted my refund approximately $3. There was no reason for them to charge me a second time and no reason for them not to refund the full amount of the second charge. Awful.

I have rented a car trailer twice and both times i returned the trailer the employee who checks the trailer in failed to notify the office it was returned and they called each time wondering if i was going to return the trailer. Each time the employee said no worries your all set they would notify the office and in both timed it never happened.

The only negative part of this experience is that my original reservation was booked incorrectly which resulted in a cancellation. I was just glad there was still a unit available to us.. Calling this facility is difficult. Each time I would call I would be put on hold for more than an hour until it will eventually give up. There were other times when I would call and put right through to, I believe, a person not on site, but perhaps a call center which was helpful.

Drivers side door you had to slam hard for it to close. Reserved and paid for an appliance dolly but did not have any left. Created a real problem as was moving an appliance to the 3rd floor and was a struggle with a regular dolly

The drop off location was confusing as the sign for equipment return showed an arrow to turn into the parking lot and upon turning the arrows painted on the pavement were going the opposite way so it looked like I entered the wrong way. It took quite awhile for someone to come over to the truck when I finally got to the correct area and then the communication with that person was very minimal. Basically a simple-"you dropping off?" When I acknowledge he said "all set". Very impersonal and I could have just as easily saved time by locking the truck and putting the keys in a drop box

The customer service was terrible. We did check in fully and they didn't have the key inside so it took 25 minutes then our truck was blocked in by another. The clerk was rude and on her phone.

We reserved a 20' truck, but received a smaller vehicle. We had to move tall furniture which was why we needed the larger size. We ended up having to turn the tall items on their sides which ended up causing unnecessary damage to them. The gas gage on the truck also didn't appear to work correctly. We put $50 in gas in the vehicle before returning it (after driving less than 100 miles) and the meter only went up slightly. We hope not to be charged for not filling. We put more than seemed necessary for the short distance the vehicle was driven. Also, the vehicle was not very clean and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke.

1. Pay attention to the customer - greet them when they walk inside. Don't talk about the pizza you're ordering for lunch in between asking questions to the customer. 2. INSPECT THE VEHICLE - broken lightbulbs and screws in the back. BIGGEST ISSUE!!! Alignment was so bad that it wore down the tires to the wire of the tread, coming EXTREMELY close to a blown tire which could have caused a car wreck, damage to possessions or even worse - potential injuries or death to the passengers.

I rented a storage a storage. I got there. The locker was locked and had no key (they also sent the wrong uhaul storage unit). After many calls to customer support the the site directly. I have still not received a refund for the service I did not receive a refund but kept getting my account charged. Also the location I was able to get it into had homeless people stealing something from a closet

It's my first time to avail your service. I used online reservation and was told the items i ordered was ready for pick up. It's not and the lady who assisted me have no idea what i was referring to. She just give the keys and paper to sign. I thought the furniture pads was not available as it is not present in the vehicle. As i returned the vehicle 10 mins earlier before 7pm it says there to wait in a spot but no one came. I went to the office and was told to hand off the keys and everything is settled just like that. The person however told me they will refund the furniture pads that was not given to me in the first place(hopefully).

Actually inspecting rentals upon their return and making sure they are clean for the next customer. The one I was provided looked like it had been used to transport livestock with animal feces splattered on the wall and the floor was mopped with no water.

The truck was dangerous. The steering pulled t the right and to go straight the steering wheel had to be at a 45* angle. The driver's side out side mirror was damaged and pointed at the road; to back up you needed to open the window, push the top of the mirror forward until you could see. The moment you started driving forward the wind pushed it back down. Whatever needed to be tightened was hidden so a temporary on-the-road repair was impossible.

I have rented for several years storage units 3301, 3311, and 7124 in Albany, NY. I have checked out of 3301 and 7124. I still have 3311. I have last paid January's rent for 3311. I have been charged a garbage removal fee when I moved out of 3301 and 7124. I have been messed with by the employees in 139 Broadway, Albany, NY. Storage. They won't take partial payments of monthly storage. I offered to pay February and 100.00 garbage fee. I should not have to pay the garbage fee. Free garbage removal should be. I have paid a fortune so far. The one worker would not let me go back into the ground floor to get the garage that day so I left. When I went to pay February and the 100.00 garbage fee I showed the receipt that I paid January rent. I don't have much money because of the COVID in the area. From: Alene Dingman

We had a horrible experience We definitely neglected our payment but when it came down to finally get our belongings there were a few people that helped us out Corporate was great Jaime M was a huge help in Albany Angelina in the front of the Albany store was fantastic. This young lady should be a manager. She did not stop moving the entire nine hours we were there Broken garage doors and elevator problems put customers and employees in a difficult environment Not fair to staff or customers Also we were told to leave our belongings in the hallway as there was not enough staff to help us get back to our unit due to malfunctioning elevators. The woman at the counter, her name started with a C told us come back tomorrow. Everything will be safe. When we arrived and we were about to be brought up to our unit I noticed some of my items were already removed. So the miscommunication between employees is sad. I know that your business is very busy and you deal with multiple diversities. But for a company that is as large as yours , maybe some changes need to be made. Thank you for finally allowing me to get my belongings back. And possibly hire managers whom are competent and don't blame their staff for their inability to actually run a business that was placed in their hand. Gracias

Absolutely horrible customer service and poor communication on managements behalf. This facility is not well looked after and I had to reach out to corporate because of the lack of professionalism. I would not at all recommend this location. Apparently, I am not the only client that had a horrible experience at the Broadway UHaul. There customer service stinks the manger was rude. Back in August they said they sold off my unit, but then in October I got a call saying they didn't and I had to pay $359 ($789) and take it the same day, I had already throw the keys and swipe out so the made me get a locksmith I had to pay another $135 out of pocket to me this was some bull shyt I call and call you guys left messages was told they were going to email the manger but nothing like that happened someone need to looking in to things like this I will never use this storage place again or tell my friends to you guys do bad business and cheat your customers

The only concern I had was the information for my current address and my drivers license as there were multiple inconsistencies on the various contracts that I had to purchase items at U-Haul to rent the U-Haul truck and then to rent another U-Haul storage space when I got to Albany New York.

I had to pay an extra $10 to access my things 24/7. Also I have trouble with my legs and back and had to walk to get the truck myself. Had to drive back and go in again to ask about the dolly I pd for to find out I had to get it myself.

Definitely below average. The staff is very unprofessional. When I got to the U-Haul to pick up my rental and storage unit there were several things that went wrong. They didn't have the size rental truck that I had reserved weeks in advance nor did they have the size storage unit I had reserved. They also ended up double charging me for my truck rental and I had to make several calls before a refund was processed. Definitely would not recommend

Unfortunately, and employee left with the facility keys, blocking customer access to the stairwell and elevators. This prevented me from moving into the unit I rented while I had a uhaul truck full of my possessions. However, the Staff were able to creatively and quickly address my issue to my satisfaction. Their kindness was much appreciated as well!
