The first clerk I encountered was too interested in eating her McDonalds breakfast and became rude and insulting towards me. Reserved equipment online; 20' truck and 1 refrigerator dolly; upon checking in the young lady at the counter informed me that they do not have a refrigerator dolly. I explained I made a reservation and nothing on there told that this reservation and equipment may not be there when I get. She stated I could go to another location and possibly get one. This was totally unacceptable, why have me make a reservation secure it with my credit card but equipment. Another employee heard me voice my complaint and frustration. He found one that had been in a fire I took it not having a choice at that point, but upon using it so it came off on our hands. That's getting it on our appliances unacceptable experience.Pastor N.

Either install larger â€œreturn equipment hereâ€ signs or better yet just have the people that rent the equipment (in this case a truck) tell you where to bring it back. It's a very large facility and when I returned the truck I parked it where I found it at the far end of the lot. Then walked about 100 yards to the counter only to be told that I needed to return it to the building where I now was. So another hundred yards back to the truck and drove it to the building. Not a big deal except I have a bad back and felt every step I took.larry M.

They didn't tell me the dolly and pads were a daily charge. I rented the truck for 2 days. Its not listen on the signs either that its a daily rental. The truck had a bad exhaust leak. Asked about a partial refund they said probably not. Will not recommend to anyone else.john H.

Customer rep behind the counter was tired and kept yawning during check out. The check engine light in the truck was on. Went in to tell the rep and they didn't seem to care. Said it was fine. While I was in side telling the rep about the check engine light my wife was sitting and waiting in the truck and another truck driven by an employee hit the back of the truck my wife was in (I believe hit the hitch) it rocked the truck. My wife came into the store to let me and the rep at the desk know and they didn't care. Then the employee came in and said she hit another truck. Again no one really cared. T inside of the rear of the truck was dirty. Most of the employees I dealt with were poorly trained.GEORGE C.
The reason for the poor rating is that my appointment was moved without notifying me. I even called ahead less than 24 hours before the appointment just to ensure all the parts and resources were available before I organized all the things on my end (e.g. movers, overnight accommodation, etc.). While the nice lady behind the counter was trying to be helpful, management did nothing to try to make the situation better. In the end I had to rearrange all of my plans due to a U-haul scheduling error. Just awful leadership at this location. I will look to Penske next time and will also warn others when they are considering using U-haul.Jerome P.

Original Kent location was changed to here for truck pickup. I was at first angry, but actually this location worked out better, as it was on our way, just off the freeway-quick detour for our one way trip. Great, quick service. When we arrived everything was ready to go. The girl at the counter was very professional and knowledgeable and explained everything even asked if we needed anything else for our move ( this location was filled with moving boxes and so many other moving supplies- so if you forgot anything it was there). Truck was clean, filled with gas and drove excellently.Joe C.

The return process does not work. First, the U-Haul app could not verify my location even though I had location services turned on in my web browser. Second, I couldn't find the barcode to scan at the facility to verify my location. So I had no idea how to return the equipment. So I parked the truck and locked the keys inside. Apparently they only have one set of keys (!!!!) so they're charging me $100 to get the keys out the locked truck. Zero stars.Dan S.

1. Many times the gates were open for a few days and or nights. Many cuts in fence. 2. 24 hour access would have been nice. 3. Office hours did not hinder me. 4. I got your truck and 2 days later came down with covid. Had truck 18 days but communicated with you. Made it to Akron and being still sick could not go further. Changed destination from Georgia to Akron and was charged $800 plus and then $1,700 plus To go 200 miles. You could give no consideration to me for uncontrollable sickness. I was raped by U-Haul. All thru pandemic I did my part but so many took advantage an we're unethical. The kid that checked me in was rude and disrespectful. Can't prove it 100% per say but was harassed by some staff and experienced gang stocking. Have pictures of cars at U-Haul were same cars following me. Was advised by attorney to move my belongings to different storage company but they are all the same. I think inside my unit was being video taped - and I am not being paranoid. Almost on every arrival, a siren would go off saying I was trust passing and enter the code and saying I was being video taped. Approached management but they were no help from beginning to end of my stay. Complained about all the cuts in the fence. 5. I came in winter. The units are old and dirty. I left it cleaner than when moved in. 6. 3 different people told me they had stuff missing. I am ocd and noticed things moved in my unit. Regarding question.... #4 Many staff was friendly and helpful that I encountered over the past year of renting my storage, but I have run into just two that were pretty rude. #6 I wouldn't recommend it for two reasons...first, I felt that the cost was high. Also, it would have been extremely nice if there were dumpsters available to put trash in (possibly even just a recycle pile for boxes/cardboard, papers, etc.) especially since I felt that the monthly cost was high and it would be a reasonable service to provide.MONICA R. | Overall Experience

Key card did not work call several time about card spoke with manger did not get any results. Finally 2 days before I move out was given a card that worked . There was a nest int the storage complained about that nothing was done. I had a hard time getting into my staorage the lock was bent just one problem after another. The employees would leave the inside of the store while they had a line to the door and no one was servicing the customers. One employee answered her personal phone in the middle of helping a customer after the customer waited in line for almost an hour. I had a reservation for 1:00 I did not leave the facility until 3:40. The employees were arguing with eachother in front of the full line of customers also there was no manger on the shift.
