I booked a furniture dolly 3 days ahead and it was available. The guy behind the counter did not greet us even though we greeted them twice with a friendly good morning. This Dude looked stoned like hell. As a loyal customer over the last years I will now start to look for other options.ULRICH V.

2x they have charged my credit card after telling me cash payment is fine upon return. Manager Jose fixed the problem but it was a 2nd time & had to make multiple trips because he wasn't in at time of the orginal error @ 3pm. Otherwise easy to work with & clean available equipment.David J.
Jose Hernandez at white lane location went above and beyond to help us out. We originally picked up my truck at union location and the truck stopped working, we called them and they were super rude said we they couldn't do anything and call roadside. After dealing with roadside for over 2 hours, we went to white lane and told Jose our situation, he called roadside and was able to give us a different truck. Thanks to him, we were able to complete our move! I told him he literally saved our lives and I'm glad to see there are still very helpful and genuine people out there! The with long hair did not seem friendly. He placed a customer on hold many times from what I heard. He didn't go over much like checking damage. He didn't seem to want to work there. I was late to my reservation and the original location gave away my truck. However, this location was very friendly and helpful to help me get all the things I needed.Ryan W.
I really enjoyed the customer service representative named Felicia at the White Ln location. She was always helpful and knowledgeable about the process of securing a unit and rental trucks.The only issue is that we had 3 monthly rate increases in less than 2 years for such a small unit (10×10), started out at 124.95 then to 134.95 to 149.95, I ended up securing a unit with Derrel storage for a larger size 20×30 and although it's more expensive you can at least see where your money is going. Next time don't take out monies outta someone's account hours and hours before they're suppose to. I only had the UHaul for only 4hrs and was to keep it for 24hrs but I was finished within 4hrs and had found out that UHaul had already deducted it from my account before my time was up.lloyd J.

We reserved a 15' truck 2 weeks before moving at lake Isabella CA. We found out the day before they wouldn't have one. We reserved a truck at this location for the next morning. At pickup time they didn't have a truck and changed our reservation to Barstow. We had to take a 10' truck that wasn't quite large enough and pay a lot more than original reservation and gas to drive from Bakersfield to Kernville and back for the move. Brady was excellent! When I first ordered my hitch the lady indicated all the hitches were the same and would fit the same. She was wrong. Once I got my car and realized the hitch was in the wrong spot and way too low I spoke with Brady and he told me I ordered the wrong hitch and told me which hitch I should have gotten. I told him what happened on the phone. He ordered the correct hitch for me and when it came in installed it for me without any issues! He was great.DANELLE L.

As a first time renter of a 15 ft uhaul, having the initial woman check me in then just handed me the keys without really giving any instruction was off-putting. I was given a truck with only 1/4 of a tank of gas and she didn't see a problem with it. She finally gave me a different truck with a full tank. Anyways, had another issue with the mileage. I guess it hadn't been switched over to the new truck so I called the store and the automated system said it would be 30-40 min of wait time? Anyways went inside, not a single customer was inside the store. I really think that there should be an easy manual on uhauls main page that you can go to that explains each piece of equipment and truck along with instructions on what to do that way it's easier and would make new renters like me way more confident in using the equipment and driving a large truck. That's it though, everything else was fine, and I do appreciate how affordable everything was. ¡Gracias!Emily S.

Everyone was helpful especially Falicia she was exceptionally helpful, but when I went into the store in the afternoon there was a young girl at the counter that was very rude and mannerless in her attitude because the parking at this facility is extremely small she was very demanding on where to park when I just parked to ask why my access card was not working. Nicole , the manager there, has to be the most awesome, caring, excellent in customer service, beyond expectation! Managers of any facility I have ever met!!I had some unusual circumstances re my storage unit , dating back to 6 years having my things in storage never actually seeing what all was actually taken to my storage. I was helped by a staff member, a new employee I assumed, who was doing an EXCELLENT job of meeting my needs, that is until another employee rudely interrupted our prospects, causing the new employee greater difficulty. He was verbally abusive and demeaning to the young lady assisting me. There was an additional female employee who's professionalism fell far short when I attempted to gain her assistance in showing me WHERE I was to swipe my entry and exit card for my storage unit. Nichole was such a joy to work with! She set me up with a storage room, a trailer hitch install and a truck rental in just minutes. AND answered all of my gazillion questions and was still very nice! The storage room was SO CLEAN and looked as if it's brand new. It was a nice surprise to find a little "welcome" bag with a lock, a to-go coffee cup and a pen! I moved to a different storage after my roll up unit was BASHED -IN and forcefully PRIED open with lock intact. The thieves took a LOT. At the time 12/18/20 there were NO known CAMERAS viewing the storage units area. No one appears to actually occupy the front apartment-looking structure and there were often questionable persons of no apparent means wandering freely up and down among the storage unit rows I think some are living in storage units. I believe with the rental of vehicles and sales of supplies kept staff from proper monitoring of the storage units. I have chosen a new facility that does one thing; just rents out storages units. I was pressured to purchase renters insurance upon getting this unit in Jun/July 2020, insurance which is now asking for receipts of my stolen items and since I barely have any and clearly this insurance maybe wasn't right for me I do believe such stipulation should have been pointed out as clearly as the pressure to buy it was. I am glad to see that many new cameras and high tech are finally being installed at the facility. I will use U-Haul again but I certainly would rent another unit only with great caution.
