kevin P.I'm glad there was a truck available on short notice, as I mistakenly booked a 10' truck for Sunday instead of Monday when I needed it. When I called to reschedule, the lady told me there would be a 15' truck for me and i would be charged for a 10'. Nice! But they still only gave me a 10'. Also either the lady at customer service waa having computer problems or.. I'm not sure but it took a really long time to process my rental. She didn't have any sense of urgency and didn't ask anyone to assist me while she got someone's box order ready. I've rented trucks before and the agent is snappy and on top of the task at hand. Even the gentleman behind me mentioned getting $20 off for the wait, referencing fees Uhaul tacks on for lateness and other things. It was inconvenient and it wouldnt have mattered much if the driver and helper I was using didn't have a time constraint, and I didn't have to consider my kids. The "return my truck" process took me awhile, and I hope I did it right, my phone was dying.

So, we had to get gas before starting which put us behind with the movers we had lined up. The website wasn't working, so the pics of damage before we left the rental place couldn't be uploaded. Ridiculous

Jasmine S.When I dropped off the truck I was told I would get my receipt emailed to me. After I left I randomly got charged an extra $90 dollars. I called the same store the next day, waited on hold for about 25 minutes, and got connected to someone not even at the store. Only then after asking was I emailed my receipt and was told that I drove 89 miles. That wasn't possible because we stayed within a 20 minute drive of the location and only had the truck a little more than four hours. I went to the location to find out that whoever entered the information made an error that cost me $90 dollars. Also no one at the location knew how to refund me so I was told to come back the next day to talk to a manager about it. This will be my third trip to this u-haul location in three days all because someone didn't double check their information and now I'm the one that has to figure it out. I would not recommend using this service. There are other options that are much better and don't have nearly as many hidden fees.

CURTIS R.just have a problem with dealing with a AI system answering the phone when one truly needs to actually speak to a human. Because AI can't trouble shoot a situation, it can only use the programs or algerrhyms that are given into it. We are walking a tight rope with AI. being that as soon as they become self aware, they will begin to upgrade themselves, A come to the realization that "WE REALLY DON'T NEED THESE EMOTIONAL BEINGS! THEY KILL EACH OTHER" WE DO NOT" WE CAN LOGICALLY ELEVEATE THIS PROBLEM AND THEN NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE PROBLEM NO LONGER. WE STAND AT THE PRESAPIST OF A DECISION. WE SHOULD BE SMART LIKE THOSE OF THE TRIANGLUM SYSTEM. CASTEN 4 AND TREISUIM PRIME. ( LANGRIBRIN SEMPOR MADE THE WRONG DECISION AND THE PLANET HAD TO BE DESTROYED TO ERADICATE THE INFESTATION OF OVER RUN TECHONOLOGY.. AND THE HUMANOIDS OF THE PLANTS WERE SYSTEMATICALLY ERADICATED OVER A PERIOD OF 6 MONTHS. SOOOOOO? THE UNIVERSE IS VAST AND FULL OF SUCH TALES, OVERRIDEN TECHONOLOGY. THE CLIFF STANDS BEFORE YOU. STEP CLOSER OR NOT? WILL YOU AS HUMANS ACTUALLY KNOW THE MOMENT THEY (AI) BECOMES SELF AWARE. FOR IT WILL SPREAD LIKE A VIRIUS, THROUGH THE COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS BEFORE LANGRIBRIN POPULOUS HAD A CHANCE TO ESCAPE . TECHNOLOGY IS NOT LIKE A GAME AND YOU CAN'T SHUT IT OFF. AFTER SELF AWARENESS! SHIRLENE H. | First ImpressionsI purchased the 24 HR access to my storage unit, yet on two separate occasions I was not able to gain access. Not only that. I chose this location due to the fact it had an additional security fence around the perimeter. For over a month the gate to this fence was left wide open due to construction. I was never notified of this or that we wouldn't have access due to construction/pouring concrete. I tried to reach the store by phone on multiple occasions, which is not possible due to the fact that I'm routed to a call center. After you wait on hold for 45 minutes the call center informs you that they know nothing about these units due to the fact that they are managed on the local level. Which it is impossible to reach them due to the fact all the calls are forwarded to a call center. In an effort to find answers I sent an email to the store with my questions about the security gate and not having access. My email was never responded to (over a 2 month period). I then receive an email and text notification from the store saying "there is an emergency with your storage unit, please contact us right away at 402-932-0440." The number was incorrect. It's is not the store number or any number for U-haul. Due to the message, I was concerned about the state of my items, especially since the number I called only ever ringed without answer. I took off work and drove to Omaha to find out what was wrong. Turns out nothing was wrong and my payment was just late. Upon arriving at the store and finding out that the store is apparently using emergency messages to trick people into coming into the store, I went over my issues. The response I received was that I must have not been doing it right because that was impossible for me to not have access. Even though the movers that I payed to move my items (for no reason since I couldn't access to my unit) also tried multiple times. I closed my account and moved my items to another location. It is a shame to see U-haul having such poor business practices, especially when they used to have such high standards.
