The 2 counter workers on Saturday morning, Nov. 20 were amazing. One was a young woman and the other a middle-aged man. For some reason the place was PACKED with people renting trucks. The line was ridiculously long, yet these 2 workers remained patient, courteous, helpful, and respectful to all the customers despite the pressure and everyone being frustrated with the wait. I cannot commend them enough. Also, the tall man who received our return at 3pm was also very pleasant and helpful. Other than the wait, which none of them could help, the experience was excellent.John C.

The person who checked me in and took my card information gave me a truck that hadn't been inspected. I know this because the lady who came in with the key to the truck said it hadn't been. The truck didn't have a dolly, and when I was on my way to return it, I stopped to get gas and found it had a rag stuffed in the gas tank, instead of a gas cap. I had been driving around all day with my children in this truck. The lady who was there in the afternoon when I returned the truck was very apologetic and told me she would not charge for gas since I didn't want to mess with the rag hanging out of the gas tank, and also take 30 dollars off of my rental. When I received my receipt I had been charged for gas. Not a good look for your company, or your location.Eric S.

Overall, a good experience. I had to ask for help when I was returning the truck how to access the storage facility, as the employee who had shown me to my storage unit had not done so. Otherwise, quick, responsive, and helpful would be how I would describe the staff.Rebecca B.

Service was great. My only problem was that I was informed that the cargo van that I was renting would be large enough for a queen size mattress, however it wasn't. I was forced to transport the mattress lopsided. Thank God the mattress didn't get ruined. Through it it got the job done .Pleas G.

Spent an hour to pick up a pre-registered reservation. They maxed out my credit card by charging it 4x's. Whichh made my balance too high to use the my card for anything else. Still had to pay more t get truck while having 4 pending transactions. So actually 5 by payments before I was out the door. I would recommend home depot as I was recommended but. My reservation was for 7 at a well rated spot then it was changed aas I recieved a phone call to do such. I got to the new location which also meant more miles for me from my home which in the end cost me yet more money just not good from beginning to end. Not to mention driving with every warning light on in vehicle even the engine light.ANGELA D.

I love this location. But the Russell street location i would not recommend to anyone. The guy is rude and not knowledgeable about the company. Once I got to the Washington blvd location my experience got better. even though I was inconvenienced the nice lady took care of meMYKIA G.

Many people had reservations at one location they arrived including me to be told that our trucks weren't at this location. Then arrive at the relocation site to be told our trucks weren't there. I made a reservation a week in advance and nothing. Very inconvenient. Lucky guy gave me 10 inch which caused Me to do multiple trips which cause my rate to increase. I don't think the truck I got should be on U-Haul. It has close to 200K miles on it and was difficult to drive. Also, the website wasn't responding while trying to pick up the equipment. I had to install the app to get the job done after wasting 40 minutes.Hasibul H.

Location was great. The young lady working the desk on 10/8 was incredibly helpful. She ensured the equip was correct, hooked up the trailer, and got my contract finished. Returning the trailer was also very seamless. I returned early and the gentleman only charged for the time I had the trailer. I would definitely recommend this locationCRAIG P.

Overall, this is my favorite location due to size of property and it's always guaranteed that the inventory is up to date. During my pick up, as I was leaving, my friend who drove me was looking for me in the lot so I could follow her and was driving through slowly. The woman working around 7:45AM was (I think) moving some trucks around and screamed out the window to my friend â€œMove. You're fucking up my rotation!â€ and asked her to move or hurry up. Cursing customers out is absolutely insane and I cannot believe she spoke to her like that. For that alone, I will probably not be returning.Danika G.
The side view mirror (on the right side) of the truck was stuck, it could not adjust. The attendant/ employee could not find the right allen key to adjust it and the sun visor on the right side was broken. I was given a different truck. The right side sun visor on the second truck was badly damaged other than that, the second truck was fine.Victor F.

I am frustrated that I got overcharged for fuel. Tank was not 1/2 full as marked on contract. Also, got charged a $20 after hour fee that I was not aware of. I thought after hours drop off was free.Daniel C.
I got a call on the day of my reservation to let me know they did not have the size truck I reserved. This is OK, they offered another truck. However, when I went to pick up the truck, they had given away that truck as well. So, even though I had two reservations, they gave away two trucks. I then had to wait until another location called me and had a truck available. This all set me back about two to three hours on my move. It also added miles to the truck that I wouldn't have otherwise. Lastly, I was still charged full price for my reservation even though it was messed up. We made a reservation online for 2pm and did not receive the key for our vehicle until ~2:30pm. We were given a vehicle that was â€œofflineâ€ from the service area that was VERY quickly inspected before we were given the key. The â€œservice tire monitor systemâ€, traction, tire pressure, and check engine lights all came on half way through our trip and the gear shift was not functioning properly (took a minute of adjusting to get into park from reverse). When turning in the vehicle we were told that the tire monitor light had been on and the gear shift did have issues in the past which we had not been made aware prior to receiving. We expressed our safety concerns and dissatisfaction in traveling in a vehicle we felt was unsafe but the staff was overall unhelpful and dismissive of our concerns. We will be calling customer service later to address the poor service.Dakota B.

Two gripes: 1. The vehicle that I reserved was not available when I arrived. The rep was apologetic and did find me another vehicle but at a different location. I had to fork out another $24 to Uber to the new location. 2. At the new location, the rep used her own personal cell phone to take a picture of my drivers license to upload it to their computer. I don't like the thought that my drivers license is on a stranger's phone. She didn't say that she would delete it. There's got to be a better way for a big company like uhaul to upload a drivers license. Maybe buy a scanner?? Other than those two gripes, I did think your reps were friendly and courteous.James R.

This crew was great in all facets -- a really well-oiled machine. They were great to give some extra mileage also; but I still went over by about 10-12 miles, and with minimal side stops. I think the mileage estimates are tight and certainly the original contract mileage granted is very skimpy. Perhaps because my trip this time was shorter, but on previous one-ways, I always came comfortably under the mileage.JERROLD P.
