The older gentleman that waited on me, believe his name was Ralph was very intrusive and it made me uncomfortable. He was asking a lot of questions and told me I was going to spend too much renting the truck for my move. His line of questioning just made me feel really uneasy. Also, the truck I was given was not the truck on my receipt which was inconvenient since I had to call a couples of times to get it corrected.

Hello with positive energies. My daughter and I rented a U Haul truck and our experience was overall great. With the initial call for the rental, there was tension that was unprofessional and once we arrived, the young lady gave little eye contact and not smiling. Her professionalism was with the process itself and not customer engagement. However, during the process, I managed to make her smile a little. Upon returning the truck, the next day, the gentleman who inspected the truck, greeted us, kept a smile on his face, very nice and professional. I do not see an area to give him a personal rating but he gets a 5 star. I believe his name is "Ken". My apologies if that's not the correct name, but I ask that the rating be given to the person working who inspected the rental truck for contract # 28335351 (Ms. Green). Thank you and enjoy the positive energies in your day.

Staff was really friendly and helpful. But the van I rented was disgusting. Mud all over the back, windows inside were so dirty it obstructed the view thru windshield at night time. The whole van looked like it hadn't been wiped down or vacuumed in a really long time. But picking up and dropping off was a breeze. And again, the staff was great.

Please stop sending customer service calls to other locations that can't do scheduling. I spent 40 minutes being bounced around the state to people who kept sending me back without helping, wash rinse repeat And fix the app and website so they don't malfunction so much. And for the love of God, allow scheduling on the app or online. It is so stressful and inconvenient to have to make and answer 2 dozen phone calls for a very simple arrangement. If I gave you the address, date, and time, you dont need to call five times to confirm it. I just gave it to you. You also tried to charge an extra $200 for no reason, wouldnt use the card on file and called me AGAIN, and tried to make and charge me for a new reservation that I didn't even make. Thankfully I removed my card from the account or I would still be on hold trying to get the money back. Never again.

Be sure the latch doesn't have a lock on it. I had to drive to another U-Haul location for them to use bolt cutters to allow me access to use the truck. By this time I was already at the destination to fill the truck. That was a total inconvenience and waste of time.

Truck has left over junk under the passenger and driver seats, windshield was still partially covered with ice and snow.They had forgotten to remove the lock from the latch. I would have had to drive all the way back to ask them remove it if I hadn't paid attention. Their lot was in total disarray and drive-out way blocked making the out going truck to make a tight three point turn.

This is the second time in 2 weeks we needed to rent a 26ft uhaul to help us move 2 hrs away (with a very strict time schedule) and both times was told different things regarding our pick up AFTER arriving to get it. First time- wasn't allowed to leave car and come back causing a huge delay- when we were already incredibly stressed. Second time wasn't allowed to have my credit card that was on file in my name used since my HUSBAND who was driving it picked it up they told him the card had to be in his name since he was the driver?? This wasn't a problem last week and AGAIN caused hours of delay! ALL of this would have been absolutely fine if it had been told to me PRIOR to pick up. Moving is one of the most stressful situations families at times have to endure- and for this to be added on top of it all was not acceptable to me. When I spoke to the girl at this facility she was very rude continuously not listening to my concerns and telling me I could go elsewhere. That was icing on the stressful cake. I explained I was not upset with her multiple times but it was not ok we weren't made aware of there things prior and she made very clear she did not care at all and that I could just go somewhere else with my rental. I'm very disappointed in U-Haul's communication and customer service.

Kerri & Mr. James were amazing! Excellent customer service. I had driven a 20' truck w/ auto transport trailer nearly 1,000 miles to relocate. I managed to get a little cramped & tangled on the lot & Mr. James was able to effortlessly get me out of the jam so I could unload the truck into storage. Kerri was so helpful in explaining where my storage unit was, how to access the property, & even gave me an additional lock since my storage unit was actually 2 smaller units, not one large one. Will definitely use them again in the future & refer others to.

I am so disappointed. I picked up at 2:23 pm and returned it 8:17pm the same day which is less than 6 hours and they charged me 1500$ and when I asked them why they side you drove it more 1000 miles. How come 1000 miles in less than 6 hours?

During the end of pickup of my rental, the staff told me to replace the gas level in truck as received. The staff gave me the key, i sat in truck and the gas light was on, so I told the staff and took a picture. After I returned the truck I told them about mentioned situation they then told me that after completing my rental before I left the lot an email was sent to me and I could of taken and submitted a picture disputing the gas level. I didn't know. Please customers that aren't frequent visitors make them aware.

Actually workers at this location aren't honest with customers. Rented a 10 foot to pick up tires and didn't succeed in getting them, upon returning the truck if forgot $1000 cash came back the following no one was honest....but it is what it's. I know what to do . ...very good at that.

Michelle, on of the Staff at the U-Haul store, was beyond amazing! She was dealing with multiple customers and handled everything with grace, a calm presence, and a smile. I really hope she gets special kudos and a shoutout - we need more Michelle's in the world. There was also a gentleman that helped us, but the spelling of his name is escaping me. He did a great job too!

Your system led me to believe I'd rented and would pick up blankets when I got the U-Haul, and when I discovered the error, the staff member at the gas station counter was rude about it. Instead of saying he's sorry for the misunderstanding, he raised his voice some and chastised me. When I returned the key that evening and told him the error had cost me $150 for an extra hour with my movers, he again didn't apologize, clearly didn't care, and chastised me again about policies. I later found out that I'd been charged for blankets I didn't get from his location, so I believe he was potentially scamming me. Your corporate office fixed the error, but I would keep an eye on this affiliate in the future.

Maintain the upkeep of your trucks the truck I had the battery died I had to wait 30 min to a hour because roadside had to go back and get the correct battery for the truck I had nothing but wasted time.

The UHAUL kept saying can't get GPS location. UHAUL needs an alternative method to checkout a vehicle if GPS isn't working properly (even if it's my phone's issue, which I'm not sure it was). Luckily I was there during regular business hours, otherwise I should have been screwed.

1) have fully functional trucks/vans available… I swapped 3x vans with warning lights including the one I drove! 2) improve customer service by 100% they were slower knowing I was in a rush, and I arrived early having booked online! 3) I felt unsafe driving the van due to its warning lights and tire pressure gauge that apparently just needed resetting. It's not ok to inflict a feeling of insecurity by providing poor products and services.

It was a nice experience until the chains on the 6x12 trailer started dragging on the ground while moving from Fort Worth Texas to Baltimore Maryland, got to Tennessee then a roadside assistant was able to tag all together. I rented this trailer because there is no truck that can accommodate 4 passengers. Above all, it was a nice experience. UHUAL, please 🙏🏽 it’s very possible to build a 4 seater truck. Consider those with kids without an option of leaving 1 or 2 kids behind while everyone else get into the truck and there is no AC at the back of the truck. If you are providing DI

I tried to reserve a truck online and added the storage unit to the order. I did not have the option to select a location for the storage unit and it automatically went to the location. I called asking for a refund and to reserve the correct location and have not received one yet. I looked online and it said that I already moved into the storage unit when I had purchased it the same day.

While I did the early check in to obtain a free lock online by providing a selfie and my drivers license, I was told that I would need to buy a lock when I arrived to the storage facility in person. I also had to change the type of unit I had, because I did not know ahead of time that I would have to go upstairs (without use of an elevator) with furniture. When I upgraded the unit, I did not know how much it would cost. There was no 8x10 unit. There was either 8x8 or 8x12 unit. There was a mouse trap in the storage unit. The staff asked if I was sure I wanted to remove it, since there could be an infestation in the unit due to food. I did not pack any food with my stuff. I needed the space for my stuff, and the unit itself after the fact was $154. There were a lot of markings on the walls of the unit. For the amount of money charged per month, I would think that it would be a nicer storage unit. The staff was really friendly and helpful, though.

Why was my dresser used as a delivery unit for a rat??? Or mouse ?? .. we pulled my dresser out an found a nursery of pink mice delivered in my Brandnew dresser, for which the dresser had to be disposed of , some of my clothing had to be disposed of because it was used as a restroom , boxes was filled with mice drooping , an my possession smell like pure SH*T … an because of that reason ! My new home has a strange Oder due to thee amount of mice dropping that is in my possessions, this is unacceptable, please contact me about this Matter asap! I’m super angry of this ! Because all of my possessions smell like mice Droppings , an when I put my things into your storage unit , my possessions wasn’t damaged at all !

I asked if my payment could be prorated and refunded to me I was told this could not be done and I would like to know why. I paid a full month June 23 and moved out June 26. If the unit is rented after the 26 to someone else then your being paid twice for the same unit which is not legal. I was told that that wasn't done at that facility. Please explain this to me. This place is infested with rats. I trusted my items to you all and now I have to get rid of thousands of dollars worth of items. I have to get someone to steri-clean my home and the items that I maybe able to keep. I will never use uhaul again. As a matter of fact I am report this site to the health department. Rat excrements are a biohazard.

I had to throw away almost my entire 8X12 unit( an apartment’s worth) of things because I came to put some things in and there were mice and roaches in my unit. I was VERY disappointed seeing this.

The storage unit had holes in the wall and mice droppings that l clean up l have requested for an invoice of payment and as of 2/ 17 / 22 l still have not gotten one l received a email stating that payment was due and l have already paid in full back in January and discontinued the service of the unit .l have spoke to several people about this situation.l am hopefully that it will be resolved soon.

I want to provide a shout-out to the employees at this U-Haul, as I always had exemplary customer service experiences, but with that being said, it does not change my experience with this storage facility. Firstly, there was a miscommunication about which storage unit was mine, and the person who gave me my unit gave be a unit which did not match the unit I was assigned in the computer. This led to future confusion and stress as I had paid my rent, but there was a lock on my unit door. I had to wait for 30-40 minutes for this issue to be resolved, and it caused me to not be able to access my unit that day. Additionally, there was a significant rodent problem within the unit that I had due to there being 2 mouse-sized holes which led to the units on either side of my unit. There was mouse poop crusted on top of my boxes, there was a significant amount of poop which was in each corner of the unit (where the holes to the other units were) and my kitchen box which had pots and pans in it was filled with at least 4 oz of mouse droppings and my belongings had been significantly damaged by the rodents chewing up my belongings and pooping on them. I had followed all directives to not store food, drink, perfume, hygiene items, scented candles, or cleaning supplies in my storage unit, and yet the mice still were in the unit. The woman who I had checked out of the unit with was incredibly kind and swept out the unit and cleaned the droppings up so that I would not have to, again, speaking to the customer service provided. But, based on the damages and miscommunication, I would never use this U-Haul facility again.
