The main issue I had revolved around communication. When I initially reserved the container the staff informed me that I would be able to *simply* change the delivery address when the address was more registered. It was new construction. However, I had to call customer service several different times to get my ubox container delivered to my established address. There were no issues with the customer service representatives specifically as they were polite and professional. But it took about four different phone calls for the issue to finally get resolved. One customer service representative said he needed to contact his manager and just never called me back. Another kept pushing me to go pick it up myself and didn't understand how that was not part of the initial plan and how it would actually make matters more difficult. So while I did recieve my items at a later date than expected it was just more frustrating that no one seemed to know what to do.

Phenomenal staff and atmosphere. Great business. The 26' truck was a beast - a good thing - in hauling a full load, and rode like a car. Not my first rental from U-Haul and certainly not my last.

First off, everyone at the Washington Blvd Uhaul was great. Very friendly, and helpful. None of this was their fault, and they were excellent. That said, this overall experience was a pain. This wasn't the location I chose; despite having a reservation elsewhere, I got a call late the night before I was supposed to pick up the truck telling me the size I reserved (15') wasn't available at all, unless I was going to drive 50+ miles to pick it up, with no mention of the per mile charge that would rack up. Then the 10' truck I was eventually given had to have its rear door tied closed with a bit of bungee cord, since the latch was broken off. Not awesome.

My last 2 experience June 4 and June 18 were horrible due to after hour pick up and drop off I mean horrible the after hour process needs a complete overhaul. i was on the phone for a total of 2 hours after calling back 3 times to get someone to help with the process the online site is extremely slow and inadequate. I was on hold for truck share assistance the first time 45 minutes and then their system hung up on me and the second time 92 minutes and the same on june 4th the system while trying to get thru the after hour pick up it cancelled my registration. I had to go thru customer service 2 times to get it fixed both times I had an early morning next day travel and final got vehicle well after my pick up time which i still had TO LOAD UP both times the system stressed me out it was frustrated and i need after hour pick up because both times i was getting off late couldn't pick up on lunch time because i only get an hour and the drive is 30 minutes away. The location has improved greatly and are very support as long as you don't get there right when they are closing you will not get help even if they still on the premises off means strictly off NO HELPPPP!!!! other than that pick up and drop off during business hours they are awesome beyond that they need to fix and improve customer service via phone and online and chat sucks and definitely improve update after hour pick up for this location.

The process of pick up is too long…. One person logging in everyone with 10 people waiting is not customer service. The computers are always down. So everything has to be out in on their phones… which is a security risk for my information.

It was my first time using pick up after hours and the employee (Payton) at Washington Blvd walked me and my son through the online check in for late night pick. she also created a smooth transition to switch me when I called to let her know that I had a last minute event that I had to attend that would make impossible to pick up my cargo van before closing to which I had an event that I had to be at 6:30 am the next day to set up. I was in panic mode but Payton eased my stress and put things in place that all was going to be okay and I could still get the van load up the night before and ready next morning off to event and a successful day thanks to the professionalism of Payton and the staff of U-Haul at Washington Blvd. The online problem i incounter was doing the online after hour pick up the online was so slow it took us 45 minutes to get through the process and I almost ran out of time because i only had 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after and the phone call was way too long to the after hours call in 57 minutes and still no one never answered we finally got through the online process and wonder the code for the key came up just way too stressful to think that I didn't have a back up plan to transport supplies for the event next day. I am so grateful to Payton for making sure my son understood the process and him helping me and my sister get through it over the phone in front of the U-Haul pick up site. I just want to say Thank you. This is definitely not the U-Haul of 1989 awesome improvement, service, and professionalism and customer contact. Gracias

For some reason I couldn't get the online check-in to work. I'm sure I was charged a $20 admin fee, I would like to have it waived because I had no control over the issue. I spent 20 minutes trying to get it to work and was really tired after the move. And the young lady who rented me the truck was very pleasant.

My 15' vehicle engine light was on when I started the vehicle. It needs to be fixed. I called the service # and left a callback # but I missed their calls as I proceeded to get things done. Before getting to this point, I had reserved a 15' at F&M Auto Repair but when I got there, I was told the vehicle was at another location (2929 Washington Blvd). The notes on this reservation said I was called/left a message. I checked and there was no message. At 2929, I saw another couple quite angry about the strict policy that was not adhered to at previously rented U-Haul locations and it took some time to resolve but not to the angry couple's satisfaction. The driver ID had to match the credit card or get cash so the driver left and the couple (different gentleman) stayed and fought. This couple had been to 2 other U-Haul locations and was not happy that there was no vehicle. Was it an availability issue at other locations and a payment policy at this location. When I was helped, I was hoping I'd be qualified and that the truck was available as previously rented at F&M. Yes & Yes! The 2929 place was immaculate and it had a huge parking lot and selection of vehicles. I'll be back.

Multiple people told me different delivery times. The most definitive time was anywhere from 11am-1pm. The box didn't arrive until almost 4pm. This was an issue when I had to reserve an elevator for the move. Overall, uhaul ubox is extremely unorganized and overpriced for a wood box you have to load yourself.

The staff was trying to support multiple customers at the end of their day but i am not sure who is responsible to clean the vehicles inside and out but they missed a few vehicles because my vehicle was filthy outside I mean it was very dirty and the vehicle side was not as clean as in the pass visible that it may have come in before being sent back out and not having to time to lessen the foot tracks of a previous customer which i felt put me at risk of exposure considering we are still dealing with a virus Covid 19. so once i picked up the vehicle and went home to load it up fore my event on Saturday my son had to clean it the inside to limit our exposure . It also had a low passenger front tire that needed to be addressed I had to put air in it that morning and air again on our way back home on Saturday because it was low. This needs to be checked as well. Staff at U-Haul were made aware. The staff is always very supportive and addressed the concerns upon my return of the vehicle when i reminded them of the rental concerns. Thank you U-Haul staff

The storage unit had holes in the wall and mice droppings that l clean up l have requested for an invoice of payment and as of 2/ 17 / 22 l still have not gotten one l received a email stating that payment was due and l have already paid in full back in January and discontinued the service of the unit .l have spoke to several people about this situation.l am hopefully that it will be resolved soon.

I want to provide a shout-out to the employees at this U-Haul, as I always had exemplary customer service experiences, but with that being said, it does not change my experience with this storage facility. Firstly, there was a miscommunication about which storage unit was mine, and the person who gave me my unit gave be a unit which did not match the unit I was assigned in the computer. This led to future confusion and stress as I had paid my rent, but there was a lock on my unit door. I had to wait for 30-40 minutes for this issue to be resolved, and it caused me to not be able to access my unit that day. Additionally, there was a significant rodent problem within the unit that I had due to there being 2 mouse-sized holes which led to the units on either side of my unit. There was mouse poop crusted on top of my boxes, there was a significant amount of poop which was in each corner of the unit (where the holes to the other units were) and my kitchen box which had pots and pans in it was filled with at least 4 oz of mouse droppings and my belongings had been significantly damaged by the rodents chewing up my belongings and pooping on them. I had followed all directives to not store food, drink, perfume, hygiene items, scented candles, or cleaning supplies in my storage unit, and yet the mice still were in the unit. The woman who I had checked out of the unit with was incredibly kind and swept out the unit and cleaned the droppings up so that I would not have to, again, speaking to the customer service provided. But, based on the damages and miscommunication, I would never use this U-Haul facility again.

There was a slight delay on Friday July 30 due to a loss of computers and a back up delay for customers. Uhaul also changed the lock on my storage unit causing a delay when attempting to leave.

So sorry I forgot the young African American women name. She should get a raise. She was so extremely pleasant and funny. She took excellent care me after the day i had moving, she really made my day. She even help me get the couch off the truck and put it in storage. All of my belongings were covered in rat fieces and it was unbelievably disgusting when I went to remove my belongings and it's very unsanitary. All of my Children's belongings were ruined and I'm very disappointed.

When I moved my belongings into the faculty, the staff was friendly and very helpful. They were able to answer any questions I had, and were very professional and respectful. Over the years I've had my belongings in storage, the staff members I've interacted with were always willing to help me with any questions I had. And have always been willing to help me with many issues.

The facility was overrun with mice. The staff made little effort aside from putting mouse traps with poison in each unit. The response in my case to complaints was unsatisfactory.
