I got to the website, received a verification code via text, but then the website did not have anywhere for me to enter the verification code. I ended up needing to call the assistance number, in the cold, snowy dark in a slightly sketchy part of the city.

I only went to this location because my original location's online check in did not work. I have had a clean driving record for over 15 years, and have had a valid license for almost 20 years. However, I was informed via an online robot that my license could not be validated, and I could not pick up my truck. I lost 2 hours of valuable time because I could not get "validated" by a robot. This company regularly rents trucks to people with no licenses/insurance, and to people who often don't return trucks, but I was not allowed to rent a truck using the "24 hour" service because I could not get validated. I will never use Uhaul again after such an awful experience that almost ruined the joy of buying my first home.

I always choose the location on Verona Road because of the great service I receive and it's a more convenient location for me. This time, I made a mistake online and requested pickup from the Westowne location - I was not paying close enough attention and I showed up at the Verona Road Store. The customer rep was very nice and worked it out that I could still pickup the trailer I ordered from the Verona Road site. Returning the trailer was easy and convenient and the customer rep was very cordial.

U-Haul needs to properly train their employees! I rented a trailer to use and the U-Haul attendant (which seemed to be new) took charge of hooking the trailer to the truck. First, she tried to lift the trailer herself, I decided to help her to prevent an injury. She continued to try to hook up the trailer, but she seemed like she had no idea what she was doing. A second employee came out to help her and at that point the first employee decided to not finish what she was originally doing and help the second employee with the safety chains. Immediately I noticed that the first employee never actual hooked the trailer to the receiver. The trailer was just sitting on top of the ball. Me just wanting to see how far they will get before noticing that the trailer was never hooked up, I did not say anything. The second employee said, “now that we’re all hooked up, lets check the trailer lights”. At that point I decided to tell them that the trailer was not hooked up at all. The second employee check to see and immediately was in shock when she saw that the trailer was just sitting on top of the ball NOT locked in. The second employee apologized while the first employee that was originally helping me just walked away. The first employees neglect could have caused a major accident to myself and others. I told my wife about what happened, and she said “they are lucky that you know how to hook up a trailer, what if they were helping someone who had no idea how to do it and trusted the experience of the U-Haul employee? There would have been a serious accident.” This does not even take into account my experience prior to getting the trailer and dropping it off. I will never go to that U-Haul location again.

Personally I'm dissatisfied with U-haul main office ( not the location where I rented this trailer. Dissatisfied for not contacting me in my previous U-Haul rental, where the U-haul had a leak in the roof and my mattress was soaked. The only reason I'm providing feedback is for me to make this feedback.

The first time I came in, there was a young gal sitting at a computer, taking a test. There was an older gentleman sitting in a chair near her - he didn’t say anything. I think he was her dad. No employees could be found, inside or out. I stood and waited for 10 mins, then I left.

I am happy with the actual storage of our belongings. The pick-up of the boxes from our home went smoothly and as stated. The retrieval of the boxes was not as smooth. We experienced multiple moments of communication that left us confused and frustrated. Ultimately the issue - described to us - was a delivery truck that was not functional. Apparently, this shuts down the entire operation. A solution was finally presented, and executed, but not without additional frustration and stress. Up until this point, we were pleased with our overall experience, however, this left a sour taste in our mouths.

I had a few problems with my iPhone trying to do the self checkout. Meanwhile, I saw someone else come in and then exit faster then me with a truck who did not use the self checkout. It appeared to be a network connection problem. Otherwise I had no problems.

This location is very well lit, clean and your storage is safe. You don't have to worry about your things going missing and the location was perfect. The staff was always helpful and nice.

Great customer service from the employee i worked with. He was able to switch me to a 20ft truck with ease because I didn’t need the larger 26ft. Although the service was great I was given a truck with an extremely loud exhaust leak. Was not pleasant driving this. Barely made it up hills. Would advise to have maintenance taken care of before renting out next time.

I was giving one day to get all my stuff out of my old marital home yes horribly tough day for me then no heat made it even worse but I had no time to find other options so instead of loosing 38years worth of my stuff I bbn just froze my ass off

Just pay Xtra for access 24 hours raise to much the unit price and also so bad not having elevator for the second levels. So at the end I pay Xtra for be at the first floor and have 24 hour access.
